Small mom and pop business with a few tables hidden away in a small strip mall. Could be a bit cleaner but overall pretty good. You really have to be looking for it to find it but it is worth the trip! Rice and beans were good and generous portions too. Fun salsa bar where you can try a lot of different salsas. Drove 30 minutes to eat with my family. Been here before and never experienced this treatment. They turned us away because they were so backup in the kitchen. Sounds ridiculous I know. Unfortunately I see in other reviews today, that people have experienced the same treatment. Them not willing to service a in person customer is unacceptable customer service. Not sure who I managing this place, but will never come back and I been here several times and recommended this place to people. It's a no for me dawg... The good: the restaurant itself is decent. It's somewhat clean but also fairly dirty. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Inside can probably seat up to 30ish people. Service was quick. My husband and I were seated right away and food came out fast as well. Staff members are very nice and attentive. Not so good: As far as food I think they cook everything before service and then place it on warmers. Similar to chipotle. They have a complimentary salsa bar and tortilla chips. The salsas were very good and tasty! The tortilla chips were suuuuuper greasy. I ordered 3 tacos: Baja tilapia (very fishy, cold, dry, and the balsamic sauce is weird. The combo itself is just not it), Al pastor (cold, lacked flavor), and pork chorizo (cold, not good). I took 1 bite of each and stopped. Most of the menu is tacos but there's some other options. The portions are pretty small but it's typical to order several of these. Basically it may be more popular for carryout. It's got a few tables inside if wanting to eat here. This is a great idea because they have a complimentary salsa bar and you can keep getting these. Because the space is limited the menu also is. Has no alcohol, which is the only bad thing about it. It's about $3 for guacamole, and other sides. A lot of authentic flavors. It's about $3 for tacos. We got the Vegetarian Soy Chorizo Tacos. Comes with cilantro and onions. There's also even more authentic stuff like quesabirrias. For sure it has plenty of stuff for a simple looking eatery. I got to experience their catering service at a friend's vow renewal. They were very professional. Showed up on time. Served food in a timely manner. It was during a time whenever I left my hotel I got an "extreme heat warning." We were in an air conditioned venue, but the A/C couldn't keep up. These servers worked their asses off and did it with a smile. Many different flavors of tacos, beans, rice, elote and the yummiest salsas. Pièce de résistance... churros and vanilla ice cream at the end. What a surprise! The ice cream was remarkably still frozen and delightful. What a pleasure in the heat. If I had to give one possible critique it was the corn on the cob. A tad over cooked. Now it was there to be served with the Mexican street corn topping. We got takeout. First time trying this place which we had heard good things about. My wife said the pick up was chaotic, and texted me "there's no way this order will be right." The right did made it in our bag, but took longer than it should. My steak burrito was not good at all. Fair to poor in flavor and texture. The burrito appears to be seared in a flat iron grill, and everything inside was just indistinguishable mush. I might expect a pastor or chorizo burrito to be all melded, but I can't be sure there was any steak in there at all. If there was, the bits were tiny and overwhelmed by beans (which I had to pay extra for). My wife said her pork tacos were "meh". There are plenty of better places for burritos and tacos and cheaper at that. read more

Margaritas are pink, served in a round glass and although different, they were decent. Guacamole was good, but does have lime as an ingredient which I would rather leave out. First time coming here, my husband and i walk in and there is a sign at the door "wait to be seated". We stand there while the guys behind the counter just look at us and continue chatting. Stopped by B'N Chingon for a quick dinner a few days ago and the highlights were yummy food, cute and casual vibes, and good service. They brought out chips for the table right away and they have a salsa station with about 10 salsa options ranging from mild to spicy. The chips were warm and crispy and the salsas were fresh and delicious. The Mexican street corn tasted somewhat diluted and bland. The consistency and taste was much different than what I'm used to, so not sure if I would get that again. But the tacos were delicious! We got Poblano and corn - vegetarian and DELICIOUS! The Al pastor was smoky and salty with a balance of sweetness from the pineapple. The steak and fish were tender and yummy! Also got birria for takeout and it was so good! Consume is extra on the side but the actual birria taco is dipped in it before served! Keep in mind that all tacos are served on corn tortillas only, there is no option for flour tortillas. The Mexican rice and beans were also flavorful and added to the meal as a good side dish. The inside is casual and cute with tons of tables, quick service, and self-pay at the end. These are the best tacos that I have ever had. The ribeye is so tender. The chorizo is just spicy enough and has great flavor. I haven't had anything that wasn't great. U recommend this place to everyone and I've yet to have anyone disagree with me. I would go once a week if I lived closer. read more

The tacos were so good I had the steak, tilapia, poblanos, and shrimp. The steak and shrimp were really good and I think I order the tilapia wrong I wanted it fried but got grilled instead but it was still good. I've never been to a place with a salsa bar but it was fun picking and choosing what I wanted. The steak tacos had grilled cheese on top which I found very interesting and appealing. I also got a horchata but it tasted really sweet and not like other horchatas I've had so I don't really recommend that. But other than that I loved everything else. Definitely recommend! read more

Yum yum yum!! I am so happy we came across this place, and even more happy it's so conveniently located for me. This will be a staple in my household, and definitely my new favorite Mexican spot near by. We dined in, and they offer a fresh basket of chips and a serve yourself salsa bar. These chips are definitely made in house, and the salsa varieties are some of the more unique (and equally delicious!) ones I've had. My personal favorite was the chimichurri/cilantro/Serrano one but please try them all! You will be happy you did. We also got guacamole to start, which was some of the better guac I've had in awhile. I got the poblano and corn taco, along with the chicken tinga. The chicken was juicy and high quality, and the chihuahua cheese on the vegetarian one was melted to perfection. My boyfriend got the Al pastor and the asada tacos, and said both were the best of its kind he's had. The pineapple was grilled fresh and I just had to snag a little piece of the cheese on the asada one! Scrumptious. The service was great, I don't recall our servers name but she was very sweet and seemed to care about us along with the business. I will definitely be back, and be a regular here. B'n Chingon makes really good food, when it's available. Unfortunately, as time has gone on the frequency of menu items not being available has become so common that in the last three months all but one visit have we not tried to order an item only to be told it's not available. I understand some things are hard to stock over a busy weekend, but this isn't a late Saturday or Sunday problem. This occurs on Friday's or any other day of the week. The menu is already quite focused, maybe it needs to be reduced further to simplify stock management? Again, the food is great and the service is good. They just need to figure out item availability. Or at least mark the menus if something is 86'd. read more

The food is SO GOOD (get the quesabirria tacos or quesadilla), the staff are so friendly, and it's a cute place to sit and have a margarita or just grab your food to-go! We stopped into this little Mexican restaurant last night for Taco Tuesday. What a delightful surprise! The restaurant is small with maybe 10 tables inside and a few outside as well. The restaurant is very clean and the minute you walk in your greeted by friendly staff. You can tell right away that this is a family business. You place your order at the counter in the back and either the wait staff or a robot delivers your food. The food is delicious and authentic. There's a small salsa bar with many options to add extra flavor to what you're eating. Their chimichurri was amazing. Their carryout business was constantly flowing. When we walked up to the restaurant, the Italian pizza place next-door was dead, and everyone was at this place. We knew we were in for some good food. We decided to stay and dine in the restaurant. Ingrid took care of us. So friendly and sweet. A basket of tortilla chips were placed at the table. They're crispy good, but I found them a tad bit heavy on the oil. We ordered a side of guacamole, which was one of the best I've had. My husband ordered three al pastor street tacos and also ordered sides of rice and refried beans. He loved his tacos. I opted for one asada street taco and a chicken verde tamale. Both very good. We were surprised when our food was delivered by the robot. Fun! The pricing is reasonable. I just wish they had another seafood taco option other than tilapia. I've stopped eating tilapia years ago after watching a 20/20 segment. Shrimp tacos would be a great addition to the menu. Note...if you pay in cash you get a little discount. If you have a Clover app, you earn points as well. I can see becoming regulars here. Their horchata drink was decent, I wouldn't repurchase though. Their chips for the guacamole and salsa were crispy and hot. The guacamole was authentic with hand cut ingredients. It's worth getting two. All the tacos are unique and fun. It's like gourmet tacos with a home kitchen foundation. My favorite was is the al pastor with the fresh pineapple pieces and the tilapia fish. The tilapia fish is the most impressive tacos, in my opinion. I wasn't expecting so much flavor, but it didn't disappoint. The quesibirria taco are ideal for the cheese lover, loaded with meat and queso. The salsa station was really nice, I liked all their flavors. Roasted jalapeño is my favorite salsa, along with the pickled onion for zest. Good food: We had the Asada/Steak, Al Pastor, Beef QuesiBirria tacos, and Churros. These are reasonably priced basic tacos that are a step above in flavor. The beef tacos were dripping in juices which is great! They also have a salsa bar to customize and add to your food/chips. Downside is they only have tap water, so you'll need to buy a drink. Asada Steak taco is a simple steak taco that is juicy and has delicious chimchurri salsa. I particularly enjoyed this taco out of what we ordered so I'll be ordering this again. Beef QuesiBirria has pulled beef that is super juicy, layered with gooey chihuahua cheese and a crunchy tortilla shell. Service: Amazing service, waiter was welcoming, really attentive, and helpful.
