If I could give no stars I would. I hold fast food to a different standard than a sit down restaurant as they are different. In our combined 89 years of life, my husband and I agreed this is one of the worst experiences we've ever had with fast food. We came in to an empty counter. Saw one of the registers said "order here" with a touch screen so we started looking through the menu. A few minutes later an employee came out and mumbled to us about taking our order. We told her we were still browsing and she told us again she could take our order. This is the point where we should have left as it was obvious listening and comprehension was not strong here. When we were ready to order, she had walked off and didn't return after a few minutes, so we went ahead and used the kiosk. My husband ordered the ultimate cheeseburger with no mayo, add pickle and onion. I ordered the Sourdough Jack, no mods. We both got curly fries and we got some of the new spicy tenders with a side of red hot sauce. Another employee came out while we were waiting and mumbled out something we couldn't understand about our drinks. We finally figured out he was trying to get our drinks for us. My husband asked for coke, they were out. He asked for Coke Zero, no luck. He finally asked what they did have, and all the employee could remember was sprite, Dr. pepper and Fanta. He got a Dr Pepper. 28 minutes later our food came out. The fries were hot. The waffle sticks were hot. The chicken was not spicy and didn't include sauce. His burger had no mayo and had pickles and onions but was a smash burger not an ultimate cheeseburger. I can't even tell you the mods on my Sourdough Jack. It had one slice of cheese, one slice of bacon, mayo, lettuce and onions --- not even close to what the menu indicates. At this point, we were so hungry we just ate, we didn't have it in us to wait another 30 minutes for a correct order. Another couple who ordered after us went back up with their food. I'm sure they had ours at this point. The restaurant was clean, but that's easy when you have no condiment station, your drink station is out of order and your restaurant is empty. I went to the bathroom before I left, typical fast food restaurant and the part of the hand dryer that directs the air was broken off. We won't go back to this Jack in the Box and likely won't go back to another in the area. If we want it, we'll go to Hickory. read more

Hey Jack B. , I don't know what's going on at your restaurant but it's hit or miss but lately it's misses!!! My wife went there to get a sourdough supreme and got a supreme croissant. Along with the wrong order it's waiting for someone to take your order at the drive thru and then waiting for your order for it to be wrong! To top it off it's the attitude we get from some of the workers ( Harmony G. , today) on a place that isn't busy anymore. I don't know what's your restaurant's problem is but you need to fix fast or you wouldn't have a business soon. It might be training, supervision, management or just the quality of employees being hired. Something needs to change. read more

When I went to this place, both of the doors were locked, and you had to order drive thru only. Until I saw people in there, it was only openable through the inside and not the outside. And when I placed my order for a chicken sandwich, they gave me a chicken sandwich Jr..? Another thing was their drinks. The sprite was a weird yellow tint that didn't taste like sprite. There was the Coke where it was bubbly and fizzy, and tasted like Fanta and Mountain Dew combined. The curly fries were good, but there was trash everywhere on the ground, and no toilet paper in the bathrooms. The refill station didn't have ice nor did it work either. This place sucks, and never go here again, their food is awful. read more

Service was horrible! Apparently 5 employees were more interested in waiting on the drive thru and didn't care about waiting on those that actually got out of their car to come in. It took 10 minutes for someone to even wait on us and another 20 to get our food- which wasn't even right. Another 10 minutes to get an employee to tell them we had missing food. The lobby got busy and my husband got tired of waiting so we just left. The restroom had no soap, and the pop machine wasn't working. The employees were unorganized, and the food we did get was burned. Really disappointed since we are from out of state and were looking forward to this visit. read more

We went here today about lunchtime and used the drive. We waited for about 30 minutes for our food and there was only two cars in front of us. It seems like they would take an order, make it, deliver it to the car and then start the next order. The food was overall fine as Jack in the Box always is but that wait was really bad. Waited over 30 minutes order still not taken. Asked to hold for a second so we did. About 3 minutes later asked how long the wail would be. Response "a lil minute we are in the middle of a shift change". Honestly, first I ever heard of a shift change in fast food and to have waited as long as I did I the first place my assumption those who were an ahead of me had gone, but they were lined up on the side of the building waiting for their food. In town for a lacrosse tournament and saw this place. Whenever I see one I stop for the 2 for 1 tacos. They are greasy but the best when hit & fresh. We came twice today as I wanted to try their breakfast. The steak burrito was amazing, just add hot sauce. Came back later for tacos and tried the rib-eye burger with blue cheese. It was ok, meat did not taste much different than their regular burgers. Always get some mini churros to end your meal. read more

In the past; this Jack in the Box was a good source of fast food. The burgers were always freshly cooked even if you had to wait in line longer than other fast food burger places; but it was always worth the wait. However, this is no longer the case. Now you must wait a ridiculous amount of time to get your food and it is dry on arrival. I noticed that it took longer than usual the last time I came here to eat but this time I kept track of EXACTLY how long it took. -Firstly, there were 4 cars in line in front of me; two at the drive thru window area and two at the speaker area. It took me 25 minutes before the two cars at the speaker area were able to make their orders and allow me to reach the speaker. -After that, it only took 4 minutes before I could do my own order but considering the two in front of me took a combined total of 25 minutes, I consider this an outlier. -It then took another 11 minutes for me to reach the drive through window, upon which time I learned they either accidentally deleted my order or didn't enter it in correctly; I didn't ask what happened. Whatever the case, I needed to repeat what I ordered at the window. -Another 17 minutes passed before I got my food and could drive out of there. It took 57 minutes for me to pass through the entire drive thru and that is with only 4 customers in front of me. The burger itself was dry, charred and only edible thanks to the sauces on it. I don't know if it's new management with a lower bar of expectations for the employees that screwed up this place but I don't see this building lasting more than a year if this continues. TL:DR; 57 minute wait in the drive thru for a burger with less care put into it than a McD's. read more

The wait is ridiculously long. I've been waiting an hour in the drive through. This place needs to just be closed down. Furthermore, I look up restaurant and all the reviews are valid at this point. If you're that under staff, why even open and where management?! That's part of being a manager filling in, especially if you are going to remain open. I'm pretty sure this place gave me food poisoning. I've had diarrhea since about an hour after eating. I shouldn't of even bothered eating it but I was hungry... and it's kind of pointless to turn back around on the highway and return it BUT if you order from here and your just passing through, please check your food before you leave because I don't know what the hell they gave me but it was NOT worth almost 8$. I sat in this drive thru for FORTY MINUTES. Which is fine. I get places are understaffed, but I get to the speaker and the worker tells me that it'll be about 10 minutes til they take my order because they are short staffed. Okay? 10 minutes pass. Same lady comes back and says "we aren't taking orders at this time". Okay. 40 minutes of my hour lunch break wasted for no reason. So I shoot across to Dunkin' Donuts and get my food and drink from there. 4/6/17 With the plethora of dining options here in Rock Hill just off I77, the choices were endless. I was in a time crunch so I wanted something quick. I was also looking for something that I haven't had before. Enter Mr Jack and his box. I have been paying close attention to the advertising with Jack, and I find the commercials pretty funny. I especially like the hidden camera one at the bar, where he wears a disguise at the end and then reveals himself. Classic. The menu wasn't overly extensive, but I settled on a double cheeseburger with fries, a tried a true test of a burger joints competence. That thing was juicy as hell and delicious. There were some high school or college aged kids sitting next to me and I think they were probably grossed out at the voracity with which I attacked this burger. I was licking my fingers and dipping my fries and probably making loud chewing sounds. I would imagine a Tasmanian devil or a Wisconsin badger has more manners than I did at that point. But, in my defense, I was on a timeline, and I was hungry. I usually avoid fast food places if at all possible, but I would go back and visit Mr Jack and his box on a future occasion. read more

On Aug 19, 2020 at about 10:16PM, I went to this Jack in the Box location to grab food. The employee immediately told me she was not cooking hamburgers. How rude! I did not want a burger but sheesh! I ordered chicken nuggets and regular fries. The employee working was named Kiana. After a long wait, I received my food to find out I was given curly fries.
