Else was fantastic she is a really top-notch waitress. We did have a little hiccup with the coupon from the school but despite that we had well prepared food and drinks. My only complaint would be in my jalapeño on my Carne Asada. It was a whole jalapeño with the seeds in it, and I would've preferred if they took the seeds out.

We tried this restaurant for the 1st time for lunch on a Saturday. When we entered we noticed there was a drink special for the fishbowl margarita. They weren't overly busy so we were seated quickly. Our waitress was a little slow and it seemed like she may have been new, but otherwise very friendly and helpful. We did order the Fishbowl Margarita that was on special and it was a good value for the price and it was delicious. You could tell the margarita was made with juices and not a mix. We had the lunch fajitas and the burrito chipotle from the lunch menu. Both were delicious and the refied beans were probably the best we have ever had. The beans that come on the Burrito Chipotle were also very good, we have never had these so it was a nice experience! The chips come with a hot and mild salsa that had great flavor and some type of avocado sauce that was very good too! We will definitely be back because they had a very large menu and so many things that sound like they would be amazing!

Authentic and delicious food. Generous portions. Nice and friendly service. The birria tacos were very good. The carne asada (skirt steak) was tasty but overcooked and dry. My 9yo liked the kids taco with ground beef. The rice and refried beans were surprisingly good. On Sundays, beers are $2 if that is of interest. Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience and look forward to returning.

Came here Friday evening. Place was packed and waited for about 15 minutes before we were seated. Our server was very nice and sweet. The place also looked fair from inside. Once we placed our order, they provided chips and 3 different salsas. They all tasted amazing. Wanted to oder table guacamole but was informed that it was out for rest of the day. Had veg. Fajitas and Enchiladas. Food was good and tasty. This place has some good options for vegetarian. Need to come back to try some more food items here. Overall 4/5

    Chori pollo-missing guacamole.

Food wasn't as in the menu. Guacamole salad was missing. We ordered a choripollo ($13.39 in the menu) and we were charged $17.39. Servers were friendly.

Los Cantaritos, the Little Songs. A great find in Rock Hill, off Celanese road the I-77 interchange. I stopped in for lunch on Sunday and had the Sopa De Pollo, chicken soup and 3 chicken tacos. The chicken in the soup was nicely shredded and came with a side of sliced avocado and limes. You can have the tacos with soft or crispy tortillas and the a la carte version is just fine if you don't want the rice and beans. The service is great and a professional staff and the prices are reasonable. Plenty of free parking and just a little tricky to find, just look for the Hooters!

My chimichanga had a piece of plastic within it. I didn't say anything because this was written on another review so it should not happen again. Also the street tacos were so dry, way too big tortillas. It's like they were left on an island to dry out in the flavorless sun. Coming from California this is not authentic Mexican food. Don't think I would come back due to so many missed marks.

Inconsistency was the theme of our recent dinner at BearWalrus. Disappointing, and yet hopeful,…read morebecause with some attention to detail this could become a great addition to the Rock Hill restaurant scene, As we sat our server did an excellent job explaining the menu. However, she then disappeared. Well, not disappeared, we could clearly see her at a table talking, and talking, with another couple. 15 minutes later we still hungrily (and thirstily) sat waiting to place our order. The service unfortunately remained unsteady throughout the evening. My wife and I love properly barbecued brisket. (Key mention, I lived in Texas many years and my wife grew up in Houston. We've taken vacations visiting Texan barbecue joints. Admittedly, we're "brisket snobs". ). Brisket is a tough cut of meat and aside from lots of loving time and attention it requires fat. Fat provides tenderness, moistness and most importantly flavor. When asked, ALWAYS order fatty brisket, not lean. Of the three slices of brisket we received, one was delicious, it all but fell apart with a fork. Another was partly good but the third slice was clearly overly lean; it was dry, tough and, in our view, not worth eating. So again, inconsistencies. We had a dozen oysters, four each of Good (from Virginia), Awesome (PEI) and Baller (Washington). The descriptions should've been switched. The large Chesapeake oysters were the best. They had a buttery finish - I enjoyed them. Meanwhile the Pacific oysters were very briny and one tasted of fish; after that I didn't touch the remainder . (I'm fine, by the way, no after-meal ill effects). I now suspect the price points for the oysters have less to do with quality and more with shipping costs. My advice, support our local, and delicious, fisheries. We ordered hushpuppies for starters and they arrived a dark, dark brown in color. The table next to us received the same so we first told ourselves that was perhaps how they were served here. However, we then saw other table servings and realized ours were burnt. The manager comped us for these (we had only eaten one). Of the four sides we had, the Cole slaw and onion rings were good but the Cowboy beans overly sweet and the Mac N Cheese was bland and lacked seasoning. BearWalrus is new, clearly still working out a few kinks. There were enough positives in our meal that I'm optimistic that this unevenness in quality will be ironed out in due course.

It was all delicious, but I'll bet I can make at least two more meals out of it. Oh, and the hushpuppies are to die for. The best hushpuppies I've gotten anywhere - and the honey "butter" completes the experience. It's a popular place. Always crowded. Upon arrival, we curated a playlist of our favorite tunes on the Jukebox, accompanied by orders of drinks and a Fried Calamari appetizer. Opting for variety, we chose the shrimp, snow-crab, and black mussel combo shaker bag along with a fried shrimp basket. Notably, one female patron was inspired to rise from her seat and dance briefly as our selected music played, creating a convivial atmosphere that likely enhanced the experience for all Mother's Day attendees. The cuisine was outstanding, and the boiled seafood shaker bags came with a selection of seasonings and spice levels, though I don't recall ours specifically. The seafood in the shaker bag was cooked to perfection, and the fried seafood was both tasty and crispy. If I were to offer a suggestion, the corn on the cob in the shaker bag might have benefited from slightly less cooking time. We emptied the bag, save for the juices, and even ordered hush puppies to enjoy with the remaining broth. Our server was exceptional, providing unhurried service, keeping our beverages replenished, and ensuring an overall memorable Mother's Day experience.
