I came here with a friend a while ago. We ordered through the app and went up to the register to get our order. We got our food and the boy that helped us handed our order and didn't say nothing else. We needed our waters that we ordered. Waited 3 minutes for him to acknowledge us again. He asked what we needed and we said "our waters we ordered we didn't get them". He gets them. Hands them to us. Leaves again. We wait 5 minutes this time and he acknowledges us once again. Today is oct 4th, and I am writing this review at 11:07AM the employee that assisted my brother and myself in the drive thru she was so kind and thoughtful, I was genuinely caught off guard, she had a great smile and patience and an amazin attitude... my brother wanted a few different drinks however they didn't have any of the sryups available and didn't want to make us wait... she was overall really nice and I couldn't believe. She was pleasant. Hell she looked happy to be at work. It todays economy and with everything going on that's the last place most people look happy. She found a compromise and made us very happy. It was refreshing to have someone assist us who went above and beyond in the most minor way possible. It really brightens my day. Thank you! read more

This place is a total inconvenience and are always out of something. I've have more than a few bad experiences and today I finally decided to share. I ordered stuffed jalapeños, which come with ranch, only for them to tell me when handing me my food that they were out. This is not the first time this happens to me. Why not tell me at the time of ordering? Jack in the box advertises breakfast served 24hrs, which is a total lie. I visited the location around 4:30pm and they said that they were not serving breakfast. This is an inconvenience and if they advertise something they should stick to it. read more

It's 9/11/24 I ordered from the 1540 N. Main St. location in Salinas at 9:15pm. Jacquel took my order through drive thru. I ordered $65 worth of food. When I got home I started giving everyone their meal but realized the regular chicken strips we had ordered for our 2 young kids were not in any of the bags. Sent my husband back for them. He got to the window at 9:25pm-9:29pm. When my husband told the employees about the missing item (not one but 3) employees were being rude. They asked if he had the bags and how do they know he's not trying to finesse them for some strips. If we wanted to get free food we would have asked for more than just the strips. Also, I know how drive thru works and know they are timed so I didn't want to be that customer and sit there checking my bags to see if everything is in the bag while their timer goes up. Seeing how they forgot to put one of my items in the bag, I'm going to start checking my bags before leaving the window. Sorry not sorry for your timer. I was on the phone (on speaker) and asked my husband to ask for the employees name and she replied with "it's in the receipt" I have worked fast food and still work customer service and know for a fact this is no way to treat a paying customer. Jack in the box needs to find better employees. The ones in that location suck and are rude. And STOP saying "anything else" after every item that is being ordered. Terrible food and worst customer service ever. Today just took the icing on the cake. Received my order and apparently these lazy ass employees haven't been cleaning their fryers because the French fries, tacos, and egg rolls were mucked with specks of burnt food waste and I know this means they haven't been cleaning their fryers because I know how they work in the food industry. This will be the last time I ever come to this hell hole. It's the closest one to my house but now I will be going to the one by the airport. At least there the employees actually care about their customers and their food tastes like it was made to order and not sitting under a heat lamp for hours drying up. I stopped by today for lunch and went to the drive-through I ordered the sourdough sandwich it look really good in the advertise picture but when I got it it was horrible So I mentioned it to the manager ismarelda and she seem like she really care... This is the 4rd time I go and I am missing a item. I live around 3 minutes from this location. I go a few times a month and always seem to have a problem. I don't know what's up with the new staff. Unfortunately all the reviews are 100% correct. Tne service was terrible. I literally waited 20 minutes standing in after i ordered and i decided to ask for my order to be refunded. In those 20 minutes i saw a dirty lobby, tongs on the floor and a filthy work area. In those 20 minutes i heard words that I've never heard anyone say in a professional work environment. Words suchbas the n word which was used twice by a girl and the f word which was used multiple times by three different people. Its been like this for years and there has been no change and chances are it will continue to be the same in the years to come. Um, yeah, no. Avoid this place unless you're starving, broke and this is the closest fast food joint to your house. The only thing worth eating here are the curly fries and jalapeño poppers. But even those manage to get f'd up. The tacos are basically an empty taco shell. There's barely any ingredients in them. Burgers look nothing like the pictures and are also missing ingredients. The salads cost too much for the bland taste. Did I mention how long they take to give you your food? Well, they take forever. What's even more ridiculous is that they make you wait behind a red pole because they have an alarm that goes off if they take too long to give you your food at the drive thru. Not only did they get my order wrong after describing it specifically, but when I paid for my food, the cashier handed me my food and told me to have a nice day without giving me my card back as I'm guessing it's a psychological tactic to make the customer feel as if they're good to go without thinking that they've forgotten something.
