Food is really good. Staff is friendly under rated food truck. Make sure u go with a lot of time to spare cuz ur order does take a really long time. Unfortunately the last few times ive called ahead my ticket got lost ended up waiting about 30 mins more total of nearly 1 hour. Food is great just be mindful of ur time probably not the place for a work lunch meal. If u call to place an order a head of time I suggest calling before picking it up to see if its ready read more

This place is a must go for Mexican food in Salinas. It's on the very north end off a side road to 101. Easy on and off the freeway from the Sala exit. The truck sits right on Harrison road so you park in front or behind the truck. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating. Now on to the food. Read other reviews so went with the queso birria tacos and believe it or not the hot dog. The birria is on homemade tortillas and were amazing. The best I've had. The hot dog is in a league of its own. Ball parks could learn from this truck. I highly recommend trying it. Also the hot dog comes with fries and I couldn't stop eating them. Everything was fantastic. Can't say enough about the food or staff. Do yourself a favor and stop on by. Holy, this truck is amazing. I ordered the handmade tortilla Al Pastor tacos and Quesabirria. They both were so good, nothing was lacking in any way. The sauces, everyone should at least try their sauces once in this lifetime. The tortillas were made to order and they were so well made. The staff were also super sweet. 10/10 will always be making a pit stop to this place when i'm driving through Salinas. read more

Gonna try this truck, very helpful and friendly. Waiting on food. Ordered QuesaBirria, fish taco and beef head. The fresh homemade tortillas are good. Like the Beef Head Taco. These people could really get an even more following if they cooked the Birria maybe 30 minutes to 1 hour longer. It was very chewy. It also had good flavor just hope the meat was more tender. This was my second time here. The first time was so good so wanted to see if everything was fire or just the birria tacos and hot dog. The first time I got the birria tacos and they were amazing so this time I got the enchiladas. The hubby got a hot dog the first time and was so good he got another one. The tortillas are homemade for everything. That being said they make everything that much better. The enchiladas were fantastic. It came with rice and beans. Everything was terrific. This is well prepared and well seasoned Mexican food in Salinas Ca. Flautas are perfect every time- they cover with cabbage or lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream and avocado slices. I only get rice because I don't like beans. Their rice is better than my mom's rice. Whatever they do, my mom will never win the best Mexican rice award ever again. Their fried corn quesadillas is a great treat! It's covered with cabbage or lettuce, avocado slices, sour cream and pico de gallo. Recently tried each flavor of their tacos- all excellent . This is definitely a hidden gym. My brother and I went to try this place out after our church night service. They were closing down but they still took our order and still had quality customer service. This is my favorite food truck in Salinas hands down. I recommend ordering ahead of time over the phone. The food takes a little longer to prepare since it's made pretty fresh. My favorite is la Quesabirrias and the bacon wrapped hot dog. The Quesabirrias are a pretty good size and they are made with handmade tortillas. The bacon wrapped hot dog is the best I've tried. We stopped by on our way to a vacation in Morro Bay, and I'm glad we did! The food they're dishing out of this truck is amazing. The quesabirria tacos were the star, but we also tried tacos with carne asada, al pastor and birria. All the meats were delicious, and the cilantro and onions were finely chopped so the flavors were well-integrated (no white onion bombs). Be sure to have the freshly made corn tortillas (which cost a little extra, but they're worth it). There were a few locals/regulars ordering when we arrived, and they highly recommended (and ordered) the quesabirria tacos. So, if you're on the 101 near Salinas and craving a quick taco fix, it is hard to imagine a more convenient, quick and tasty option. read more
