This is our go to Jack in the box. They sometimes have a long line, but moves fairly quickly. We ordered the breakfast platter with bacon and sausage, but there was no bacon in site. Also, the last few times, they haven't even put syrup in the bag. We got 12 tacos, loaded spicy mini tacos, onion rings, egg rolls (my favorite from anywhere believe it or not) and a strawberry milkshake. We mobile ordered, so it's a lot easier to pick up. At this specific location I found hair in my burger years ago and in my disgust, never bothered to return. After time passed, I decided to give them another chance, hoping that experience was a fluke. Today I found TWO long beard like hairs in my food!! The first was in my fries and I tossed them immediately. The second was in my burger box (shown below). I want to say something really great about this location, but they really don't do great. The person behind the counter wasn't bad. She got our orders right. It didn't cost that much but it's still not a great deal. She remembered to give us our cups, and that could be considered a sign of greatness at JiTB but I sort of expect my cup. We got our drinks and it wasn't a mess over there. The food arrived in the same century, which is a plus. Why all locations seem to have a little gossip session instead of preparing food quickly is beyond me. Still, we got the food and it was better than warm. I was really craving a Sourdough Jack Cheeseburger, so it was off to Jack in the Box for lunch. Clearly I arrived before the lunch rush, because I was the only customer when I walked in. But I noticed there was a steady stream of drive-through orders. I ordered the Sourdough Jack Cheeseburger combo, with medium-sized fries. I like that you can dispense your own soda here. They also have one of those fancy new Coke machines, where you have many more beverage choices than at a regular fixed soda fountain. I tried a cherry Dr. Pepper, and a cherry-vanilla Dr. Pepper. Both were pretty good. Ketchup packets are available near the cash register. Then my food arrived. My meal came with curly fries, but I ordered regular fries. I like curly fries too, so I didn't really much care about the mix-up. That was until I bit into the fries. They were just warm, not searing hot. Disappointed. The burger was the highlight of my meal. It was definitely hot off the grill, and a little messy to eat. But I liked it. My only other complaint was the Wi-Fi. On the plus side, there is free Wi-Fi here. But I had problems trying to connect to it. And once I had it connected, it was running glacially slow.
