This is my go to spot when I'm craving carne asada fries. They are loaded with steak and all the fixings, they are definitely not stingy and I appreciate that. It's a food truck with some tables under shade if you want to eat there. I mostly get takeout though especially during the hot summer months. Service: sometimes they can be a bit slow. Even if I'm the only customer there, my order can take some time. But that it to be expected as I assume they are frying the fries fresh. And I figure they might have a lot of phone orders. So just be prepared to wait, but it's worth it in my opinion. They have relocated. They used to be in the parking lot of an auto shop across Denny's. They are still on the same street. Loved coming to this taco truck when visiting my daughter at Stan State. Their tacos were always on point and their agua fresca. Her dad came by himself to visit her and they went there to eat. He called me the next day that he got so sick that he ended up in the ER in Modesto. He's fine now but we will never eat there again. This happened when they were still on Lander next to Chevron. A friend of mine recommended this place because I was craving Mexican Food, she did not disappoint with the recommendation. I got the burrito and the loaded fries, both in chicken, and the mango lemonade. Oh that lemonade was soo good! The strawberry was also very good but preferred mango. Javi's Tacos is one of my favorite food trucks I've ever been to. Something that's really nice about this food truck is you can call in your order. So by the time you show up, the food is done. Instead of driving there and waiting 10-15 minutes for the food to be made. This food truck also has unique items which is what I like. The carne asada fries are their best item, very delicious. They also have a California burrito which has the fries inside the burrito. If you want a classic taco truck burrito supreme, I would go to a different truck. While this burrito supreme is still good, I don't think it's better than a traditional taco truck. I highly recommend Javis Tacos ! read more

We have been going to Javi's food truck for a few years now and we truly have to say that for me, especially, the food is off the charts amazing! I personally am a vegan, for the most part, and they will make me Javi fries with no meat and then add their beans. OMG! Delicious!! Their veggie burritos and tacos are right up there too. I ate in a lot of taco trucks in the bay area and this spot ranks pretty high considering how far it is. We drove from a job site and decided to dropby with all the reviews on yelp. The parking was pretty decent and had no issues. We came around lunch time and it wasn't too busy and waited about 10 mins for the food which is normal. There's a small outdoor place to eat with 2 tables in an enclosed area. I had the quesadilla Supreme and Omg this was delicious. The meat and all the salsa was full of flavor. I liked how the food was packaged in a container and was very clean. I wish i took a picture. I see some bad reviews, I mean those aren't even enough to judge the place in my opinion. Stuff happens everywhere and I'm not going to hold them to that. Overall I would say this is a 5/5 place for mexican taco truck. Very good with doordash, they're very kind I've never tried their food but overall I bet itd be very good.

I have given them quite a few chances before. Every time I go there is a different opportunity. The number one complaint is they charge different prices every time. There aren't even prices posted anymore. Go there one time and the burritos are $7 the next time they are $10. Pay cash every time never got the discount. Then when you get the food you expect a $10 burrito not a Taco Bell grilled stuft burrito. On top of that all the burritos were labeled incorrectly. Pastor label cali. Cali labeled asada. It makes it hard when you're trying to divide out all the food among people and not touch someone else's food. That has been a multiple occurrence issue not just once. Maybe it's just the Rona effect or maybe Grullense is just out performing? Guess we will be on a break from Javi. read more

Great stop on my way back to the bay on Hwy99. Right off the freeway next to a chevron gas station. We were tried and looking for a taco place that is open past 9 as many spots close during the week. Weak! Anyways found this place on yelp and had some bomb ass pastor tacos! We also tried the Asada Javis frys that was good but a bit soggy.
