I asked what's in the wet burrito and made sure it didn't have onion before ordering yet received a wet burrito with extra onion under all the rice and beans. How do you work there and not know the food and menu your serving, atleast add the ingredients to your everyday specials on the menu.. Meat was pretty flavorless aswell. This is by far the best taco I have ever had. It takes some time to get your tacos, but I figure they are performing some kind of voodoo magic in the back. There is no other explanation for those tacos tasting so damn good! Trust me, these are destination tacos. If you live within a two hour drive. Get in your car now, you won't be disappointed! This spot has that "Je ne sais quoi" it just has good flavor and it seems to be all their items. I haven't tried everything but every time I try something it's literally the best or comparable to the best I've tried! Javi's Tacos is one of my favorite food trucks I've ever been to. Something that's really nice about this food truck is you can call in your order. So by the time you show up, the food is done. Instead of driving there and waiting 10-15 minutes for the food to be made. This food truck also has unique items which is what I like. The carne asada fries are their best item, very delicious. They also have a California burrito which has the fries inside the burrito. If you want a classic taco truck burrito supreme, I would go to a different truck. While this burrito supreme is still good, I don't think it's better than a traditional taco truck. I highly recommend Javis Tacos ! read more

We have been going to Javi's food truck for a few years now and we truly have to say that for me, especially, the food is off the charts amazing! I personally am a vegan, for the most part, and they will make me Javi fries with no meat and then add their beans. OMG! Delicious!! Their veggie burritos and tacos are right up there too. Our only issue is that they are way on the other side of town, but when it comes to food we love, it's so worth the little drive. Oh, and their agua frescos are so tasty and refreshing. There food is great but customer service horrible this is the 3rd time I've ordered over the phone ahead of time because I was on lunch or in a hurry even giving it more time for food to be ready well I think I was better off ordering when I get there people who ordered after me got there food first it's so frustrating when I ordered ahead of time for a reason I've had to wait excessively even once I got there and not even an apology discount or nothing I'm super disappointed cause I love the food but hate the customer service you guys really need to work on your timing and wich customers order first!!!!! read more

I ate in a lot of taco trucks in the bay area and this spot ranks pretty high considering how far it is. We drove from a job site and decided to dropby with all the reviews on yelp. The parking was pretty decent and had no issues. We came around lunch time and it wasn't too busy and waited about 10 mins for the food which is normal. There's a small outdoor place to eat with 2 tables in an enclosed area. I had the quesadilla Supreme and Omg this was delicious. The meat and all the salsa was full of flavor. I liked how the food was packaged in a container and was very clean. I wish i took a picture. I see some bad reviews, I mean those aren't even enough to judge the place in my opinion. Stuff happens everywhere and I'm not going to hold them to that. Overall I would say this is a 5/5 place for mexican taco truck. I will be coming back again when I'm back in the area Cheers guys! read more

Great stop on my way back to the bay on Hwy99. Right off the freeway next to a chevron gas station. We were tried and looking for a taco place that is open past 9 as many spots close during the week. Weak! Anyways found this place on yelp and had some bomb ass pastor tacos! We also tried the Asada Javis frys that was good but a bit soggy. Next time I'll order them with out the pico de Gallo and maybe guac and sour cream on the side. Overall really good food for a easy pit stop. read more

I have given them quite a few chances before. Every time I go there is a different opportunity. The number one complaint is they charge different prices every time. There aren't even prices posted anymore. Go there one time and the burritos are $7 the next time they are $10. Pay cash every time never got the discount. Then when you get the food you expect a $10 burrito not a Taco Bell grilled stuft burrito. On top of that all the burritos were labeled incorrectly. Pastor label cali. Cali labeled asada. It makes it hard when you're trying to divide out all the food among people and not touch someone else's food. That has been a multiple occurrence issue not just once. Maybe it's just the Rona effect or maybe Grullense is just out performing? Guess we will be on a break from Javi. read more

This place has the best asada fries in Turlock. The serving size is perfect and so filling. You can easily share with someone else and be satisfied. I've tried their aguas frescas, limonadas cucumber, strawberry and mango. All of them so good and refreshing. Not sugary like other places. This place is a Must try!!! read more

There are a lot of taco trucks in Turlock but this is one of the best! We come at least once a week. They have all the classics you'd find at other trucks but they also have new and innovative items too. The hubby loves the California burrito which has meat, guac, pico de gallo, salsa and FRENCH FRIES. Fries in a burrito? Genius. Speaking of fries, I love their carne asada fries! I've had CAF many many times, mostly in socal, and couldn't find anything comparable in the area until now! They give you lots of meat too! The classic burritos and tacos are also great! The SO loved that it only took half a burrito to fill him up (usually he will demolish it in one go), so the proportion to the value is reasonable. Chilaquiles burrito - I got this with al pastor and it was so good! There is also an egg prepared in your choice that is thrown in there.
