Super taco with shrimp, super taco asada and asada quesadilla
Albert C.

Saw a post on social media about their other location in SF. So glad I came to try it out. Everything I ordered were cooked perfectly and the salsas are bomb will definitely come back whenever I'm back in town.

Aguas frescas y tacos de carnitas
Kattia A.

The staff was very nice and everything looked clean. The food was very fresh and really good. I highly recommend the tacos super with everything. The tacos come with 2 tortillas. One is crispy and the other one is soft (good combo). Their aguas frescas were very good. We got aguas de jamaica and watermelon and they both were quite refreshing. I will say that it was a bit expensive. For 4 tacos and 2 small aguas our total was $55.

They used to fill the tacos with avocado. Now when you unwrap them you realize they only put avocado in the section that is unwrapped.

Their prices have increased and they give you less. One example is the avocado. The last couple times I've noticed less avocado in my tacos and they charge almost $2 per taco. I could justify paying the prices before but not when the quantity or quality goes down. Also the service is awful. They made a mistake on my order and didn't realize until I got home. I live across town. I went back and let them know and they were unapologetic and rude. It was the big guy there. I'm Not going to pay $48 for my order of 3 items to be wrong, take the time to go back for them give me attitude for their mistake. There 100's of places I can get tacos from in Turlock.

Highly recommend for any Mexican food in the Turlock Modesto area! The daughter owns this location and her father owns the location in San Francisco. The quality of food and taste are identical and made me feel like I was in San Francisco eating the same exact burrito that I love and considered to be the best burrito in the world! I'm so glad I stumbled upon this location in Turlock, California! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!

Quesadilla Dorado Style with Asada

My favorite mexican food spot of all time I don't have a spot that beats this place! The staff are so kind, friendly, and helpful! I love the thick chunks of carne asada either in the Quesadilla or Super Burrito the Super Taco is good also just not filling enough for me. The restaurant isn't usually packed when I go after class but sometimes they can get a crowd. The food is usually served pretty quickly but make sure that you grab some salsas from the fridge on the side! The green salsa is good and not spicy the red salsa is a bit more on the spicy side. Whatever you order make sure you do it dorado style (extra crispy)! This is my first five star yelp review by the way. Try this place out and let me know what you guys think!!

Loaded nachos with grilled chicken, super taco with grilled pork, and loaded tacos with shrimp and grilled pork

Service was great, they allowed us to try some of their meat when we told them it was our first time. Food was good too, but a little salty.

Not 10 days later I had more errands in Turlock so had to get these tacos. We were underwhelmed by the hype of best tacos in the area.....they still get a 4 but next time if in the area would get an Al pastor burrito. So we got a carne asada, Al pastor, and lengua tacos. How you treat the tortilla on a taco is a critical part and most places fail at that, this place was no different as they just have tortillas that are quickly put in the grill.. what saved a lower review was the Al pastor was very good. Carne asada was not very good for our taste and my lengua was actually pretty good. They put beans and the sauces where good in the tacos so they were ok but would. It get that again here. Service was excellent and the chips which you have to buy as a side where delicious, crispy, freshly made and not greasy.

All I can say is everything is fresh. Totally worth it. I made the mistake of ordering with my eyes and not knowing the size of the tacos.

This time I tried the Cabeza taco dorado with grilled onions, fresh avocado, and cilantro with Pico de gallo on the side. Best taco so far.

We ordered a michelada and a Cadillac margarita--both were bad. The michelada tasted watered down, and the Cadillac was just plain nasty. My fiancé ordered the chile verde and asked me to try it. I literally had to spit it out into a napkin. The flavor was that bad. We came with three other friends, and all of us agreed we would never return. For a Mexican restaurant, especially a chain, you'd expect flavorful, well-made food--but that was not the case at all. Very disappointed with this location in Turlock. Zero out of 10. Would not recommend.

I have seen so much traffic in and out for quite some time, so had this place on my "try it" list…read more The exterior looks nice, the lobby is pretty tasteful. So here are the pros: Service was good, chips, salsa and bean dip came out pretty quick. The bean dip is really good. The salsa is a little spicy and they don't have a milder option for spice intolerant folks like my wife. I enjoyed the salsa, she didn't. We ordered 2 chicken items, Garlic Chicken and diabla chicken. Both essentially the same item but with different sauces. The Garlic chicken was good for a bit, and then became pretty overpowering. The sauce is a butter sauce, that would probably be great on some pasta. The Diabla chicken was anything but spicy. The red sauce it was in was about as spicy as milk. The pickled jalapeño slices served on the plate were extremely spicy in comparison and they didn't have much heat to them. The service was much better than the food. I'm really surprised they have the amount of traffic they do with the food as lacking as it is. Might be the bar is where the draw is.
