I had a very disappointing and concerning experience at Jack in the Box. I specifically requested my sandwich without cheese because I have a severe dairy allergy that can cause anaphylaxis. Instead of making a fresh sandwich, it appeared that the cheese was simply pulled off after it had already been placed on the burger. There was still melted cheese residue left on the sandwich, which poses a serious health risk for someone with a life-threatening dairy allergy. Food allergies are not a preference--they are a medical necessity. Customers should be able to trust that special requests related to allergies are taken seriously and handled properly. I hope management provides better training on food allergy protocols to ensure the safety of customers in the future. This experience left me feeling unsafe and hesitant to return. read more

This certain Karla M. was very rude. We have been a Jack in the box customer for years. First, she didn't even greet. I asked her nicely if I could have ranch. She said: Whatttt? How many? With an irritable and mad. She also had her little boy going in and out the cooking area by the cashiers' counter. That's unsanitary. And I saw her mimicking me to her two co-workers who laughed with her. If you don't like your job, quit! Having a bad day? Don't to take it out on someone else! You are very Rude! All 3 of you! First time going to this restaurant after the remodel. The supervisor/manager has a nasty attitude. It was only two or them working and the poor girl was doing everything, taking orders at the front, cooking and even taking orders from drive thru and the manager was barely helping her. I'm only giving two stars because of the hardworking cook/cashier. I only did not like that she was charging customers and taking orders with gloves on and was also cooking with the same gloves, gross. Worst service ever! It's 8 PM on a Friday, and it's semi busy, but nothing crazy. I pull up to the first speaker in the drive-through, I sat there for about two minutes, and I was never greeted. Then Someone pulled up to the second speaker after me and got helped before me. I then had to repeatedly ask "hello, can someone help me?" for about two minutes. Finally, someone did answer me, but asked me if I could "give him a moment". I gave them another two minutes until I saw the car behind me start to back up and then pulled forward to the second speaker AND was helped before me again! I was so upset to the point where I yelled out "are you kidding me!" and the guy at the first speaker replied "I know, I'm sorry. Just give me another minute". Absolutely not! I said "no, I'm leaving". Absolutely ridiculous. I don't understand what the issue was. The drive-through line was moving. Nobody was inside. And yet he still couldn't greet me when I first pulled up so I at least knew someone was there? And then at least I would have known I was acknowledged, and could have been asked to give them another minute. Or he could have attempted to take my order too because the second speaker lady had no issue. I don't understand why it was that difficult. I have given this location several chances since their reopening and have repeatedly had worse and worse experiences. This time I placed a mobile order, and then waited for 45 minutes after showing up during off hours on a Tuesday night. Every single time I have come here, I have waited for longer than 30 minutes for basic food for two people. Every single time the food has been lukewarm warm and soggy. Not only will I never return to this location, but I will actively encourage anyone I know seeking to go there to instead go anywhere else. You would think with this place recently opening it would be one of the good Jack in the Box's. I went during dinner time to get tacos and a small curly fry. I have never received a colder set of fries from a fast food restaurant before. How many fries and tacos do you need to pre cook before rush hour? I also believe food is only allowed to sit for a certain amount of time before selling to customers. I took a bite and was so disgusted because how can fries be colder than the temperature of the heat lamp, only way is if it's been sitting for 1+ hour but even then.. I had two cars ahead of me and it took 10 minutes to get to the window only to be given cold food. I also asked for buttermilk and was responded with a "what!?". So just when you think, "Yes! Now I don't need to drive to Redlands or Calimesa" I think the better options still are in the neighboring cities if this is the standard this store is setting. read more

Okay I want to start by saying I totally understand what it's like to work in the fast food industry, especially late a night it is not easy. You're tired, you want to go home, and you have other responsibilities you need to do but I don't get being rude to guests because of your personal feelings. I came through and on the receipt the lady Nancy T checked us out but I'm not sure if she was the one at the window. There was no name badge to tell. I wasn't once greeted, i was paying Apple Pay and she just threw the card reader out of the window still without acknowledging me. After she handed me the receipt and my bag not asking me if I wanted any sauces, utensils, etc she proceeded to slam the window. I needed some extra sauce and I had waited for her to come back which took a few minutes even though there was still cars behind me as well. Still nothing was said to me when she opened the window I just asked for a couple extra sauces and she just handed them out and slammed the window once again. Like I'm not expecting her to be thrilled but atleast not rude when I was nothing but kind and I tried to give the benefit of the doubt but it's just sad. this isn't the first interaction with her that has been difficult. not only that but my food was underdone and not satisfying at all. I was blatantly disrespected when I went through the drive thru. I ordered the first combo meal and was told in a very condescending tone to speak clearly. I have rheumatoid arthritis and as of lately the inflammation had attacked my vocal chords so I am chronically raspy sounding. I spoke up and ordered...never once was rude. Then once at the window he proceeded to line up my drinks for me to see then he did it right, again I politely said thank you and took my items as he handed them to me...once home of course I was shorted one of my fries. I have recently discovered the Double Bacon Smash Burger, which giving fair credit is an excellent burger (holding its own, even when compared to the In & Out Double-Double). However, today, we went for the "Dodger Deal" at two different Jack In The Box restaurants located in Yucaipa, CA. The first, the newest of the chain, located in lower Yucaipa (by the freeway). This was our 2nd visit to this eatery in two consecutive days; with the same experience in each case, earmarked by dirty tables, food spilled-out on the food prep area in plain view of customers, and frustrated, hostile employees. No manager was present in both cases for obvious reasons... They are sorely understaffed (never more than 3 employees seen to work window and counter, and maintenance, and drive-up (online) purchase customers. It's just too much work for too few employees. In each instance, we stood at the counter for well over 5 minutes, without any acknowledgment of our presence by employees. When we finally asked if anyone was servicing the counter (only after repeating the question did we get a response), our question received a shoulder shrug along with the response, "we're under staffed". Still, no further response or service was provided. Too bad, since this is a brand new location, with a very nice facility. We'll not return to this restaurant. At that point, we turned and walked out and went the reliable In & Out nearby; wherein there were smiling faces, warm friendly greetings, and great food in a very clean environment. 15-20 employees are on duty at any given time. What a difference good management can make to a business like these. In the case of the other older Jack In The Box, the employees weren't even confident that the Dodgers had played the prior day, which we assured them was the case (having pitched the requisite 7 strike-outs to qualify for the Dodger-Deal special offer). Following a back & forth to obtain the "deal" (employee appeared to confirm they were, in fact, a participating member of the JITB Dodger Deal offer), but seemed confused as to how to deliver the goods; we once again thanked them, but left in favor of an alternate restaurant. Just too much of an exercise in frustration to get this promotional meal! read more

Only giving one star because I have to. I don't know why I continue to go here. They have gone down hill incredibly in the last year or so. I will only talk about this trip and not the countless times they've messed up my order recently. My order was simple enough two fries two shakes a burger (with no lettuce) and a chicken sandwich and they parked me. Okay, so I park. And I patiently wait. Only a few minutes later they come out with my food. Super! Quick service I appreciate. I take a look at my burger (because as I said they have priors) and I didn't see any lettuce!
