I said I prefer to come into the office and she said she would check to see if that is possible and put me on a brief hold and when she came back on the line she said: "We won't be able to do that." And then just hung up immediately. No closing salutation, nothing. I don't think I am being very picky about etiquette to say hanging up on a customer is beyond rude and unprofessional.
