I brought in a client of mine for a haircut who is a senior, anxious, and in a wheelchair. This was her first appointment with Michael and she was nervous about it. However, Michael put are at ease immediately from the moment we opened the door to the salon, with his help. She was visiting for a haircut and he accommodated her while she sat in her wheelchair. He took time to consult her and talk about what she wanted. He kept the conversation light and continued to check in with her to make sure she was comfortable. Jeannie has always done an absolutely amazing job with my hair since I was a kid and continues to do so. I called today, imagining I'd have to book weeks ahead (turns out that's usually the case), but this day Leslie happened to have a cancellation that I could make. Lucky me! Leslie did a great job on my hair, and was a wealth of information and encouragement for me as a newcomer to the area besides. I don't think I've ever had someone ask such good questions and talk me through what my options were so clearly up front. Then she was fast and sure with her scizzors and gave pointers on how to maintain (or further improve) my look. (She gives a great scalp massage besides!) I left looking great and feeling like a princess - despite the grueling few days I've had. I want to add, what I was not paying for but is worth so much to me, is how she made me feel so welcomed. Leslie is a wonderful stylist, and, a generous person besides! It's a one chair shop owned and operated by Sarah. The shop is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Sarah is handy with the clippers and gave me an excellent faded cut. I showed her a photo of my last haircut and she went right to work. I was not disappointed. My hair came out just the way I wanted it. Sarah charges $15 for a standard cut but she does a "Hero" cut for vets, military, police, and first responders which brings the price down to $12. She's a very nice lady and easy to talk to. Her shop is busy and she takes about 20 minutes a cut. She is a walk-in shop but has a wait list at her desk as well. I will definitely return because she's good and I like to support local small business if I can. Thanks Sarah!
