Went for lunch with my friend I got the 1# burger and fries he had a queso burger and fries. It was okay not fantastic typical Gordon food service my burger consisted of two 1/2# patties stacked bun was toasted nice my friend was unaware the queso burger was in a tortilla he said it wasn't very good service was good I think this place is known for breakfast it's tiny inside but worked out fine next time I will try breakfast read more

Service is phenomenal here. We've been several times for breakfast with my parents. This place is small and it gets packed, so prepare to wait. We came for an early dinner because the power was out at the lake house. I was surprised to discover they have gluten free bread! We ordered one ham skillet and one BLT, both with gluten free bread. They changed their sausage gravy and biscuits it don't even taste the same. And they changed their sausage gravy kind of bacon they use to have it use to be Smokey bacon. Use to go there a lot for breakfast I won't be anymore. Sad when they changed their sausage gravy for something that is gross, and no one wants to say they haven't changed it because it has. warning Randy the cook wiped his nose five times without washing his hands or gloves when it happened the first time I told the waitress they got made and treated us bad then it happened four more times so I taped him doing it and they kept blocking so I couldn't eat there at ur own risk when my daughter spoke to the owner she says we have a sanni bucket which he never used there was four of us watching him never did he wash his hand and a sanni bucket isn't for that and that in its self is unsanni yuk read more

Because of the heat most restaurants were closed yesterday...Jack pine was open and was nice and cool...My club sandwich was the best I ever had....Usually the toast is dry and over done...this was perfect...usually the sandwich is NOT moist,,this was...The deli meat could have been that cheap ham,,,this was high quality meat. The jack-pine is a hidden gem settled in the middle of downtown Harrison MI just off of Clare ave(old 27) on main St. They are one of those best kept secret's that the locals patron! What can I say? The food is delicious! They are known for their outstanding home cooking and delectable desserts! The service is always outstandingly better than most places due to small town people! We have been going to the Jack Pine since we bought our first cabin back in 1988 in Harrison. We have since bought a different place out by Lake Of The Pines so it is a little farther to travel but well worth it. We go at least once every time we come up.
