I heard that their food was great, so I decided to drive up there since I dig BBQ. I called 1st and was assured there was plenty ribs available. Here goes-- parking was a challenge, line was long so I asked my fellow diners how the food was. It was unanimous that it is great , so I got in line and worked my way to the 2nd room. Finally progressed to ordering room and was close to placing my order when an employee came out and said they were out of ribs until 3or 4 o'clock. It was not yet 1 , so I decided on a brisket sandwich. Minutes later the announce no sandwiches either! Only chicken and I was NOT in a mood for chicken having had it 3 days in a row. Like others I flew the coop very disappointed and not sure about any future possibilities. In fairness, they offered choices for those prepaid to either get a refund or get their goodies when ready . First, I love this bbq joint. Today's visit is a bag of mixed emotions. The ribs were tender, moist, juicy and delicious. The baked beans were delicious. First time to try their smoked wings. They were perfect. They had a good strong smoke flavor. Now, my chopped bbq sandwich didn't make the cut. It tasted spoiled. There was a tangy taste to it. My better common sense said let it go. Came in for the first time as a local around lunch time and they were hopping. Wanted to try the bbq but they had char grilled burgers as well. Small little place but big on flavor. Turkey and ribs were great but the brisket was very small portion and mostly fat. Would try another meat next time but the beans as my side were awesome. Only one type of bbq sauce offered would have liked a spicy variety but they had hot sauce. Service was very quick will come again! read more

I had heard that this place was a real barbq place. Was very disapointed. The ribs had no flavor, tasted like baked in oven & over salted. First off the lady said a half pound of ribs was 3 ribs I'm thinking there's not a scale here most bbq places do so I may have gotten a half pound are a lil less who knows. So after receiving my order of somewhere around 16.00 I went back to my vehicle tasted the brisket first. My first thought was this is not real bbq this was cooked in some type of commercial smoker with wood and propane the brisket was tender but lacked flavor. Prior to and even during the pandemic, my family and I have eaten at the Trinity Lane restaurant on numerous occasions. Typically we've enjoyed our food whether eaten in-house or taken home. Today my husband wanted this for Father's Day. Each of us got a 3 meat plate. On my plate, I had turkey, beef and sausage, sweet potatoes, and cucumber salad. Everything was great EXCEPT...EVERY bit of the beef I ate/saw was burned (not smoked) but burned black and hard. \ Initially, I wasn't planning to complain but upon placing my order online, I arrived and twice attempted to call the number listed to bring my food out to my car as indicated on the signage. I called twice and each time the call was discontinued. I am a 100% service-connected veteran and often additional walking is a problem for me but due to the fact no one responded to my efforts to call twice, I went in to obtain my order. Thank God my husband had previously told me where I could find my order...I saw it and through several efforts to obtain it, it was too high. The staff did not attempt to even ask if I needed assistance. Thankfully another consumer saw my efforts and offered to assist me. As many times as we've attempted to assist Jack's, especially during this pandemia, I need to be honest and say Jack's is currently no longer above the top of my list. read more

Now I remember why I quit going here a long time ago. 18.00 for little beef with fat. A tiny thing of beans so small I thought it was the sauce. Sauce was about 2 tablespoons of watered down crap. Potato salad I don't know what was up with that. How can someone serve this stuff? It was way over priced, but to top it off with horrible food should be considered a crime against humanity. Their food is not that bad, but their service is crap. They're usually unfriendly and short when I pickup from the restaurant. Today is what made me write this review though. I ordered them through DoorDash at 3:45 P.M. My card was charged for the order and it said they were preparing my order. After 5 minutes or so I get a message stating that they had cancelled my order. No explanation as to why, and I couldn't get an answer when I called so I guess I'll never know the reason. It was 3:45 so they certainly weren't closing. I'm still waiting for the refund to show on my card but as of now there hasn't been one. I've been using DoorDash for 8 months now and have never had something like this happen. I definitely won't be ordering them through DoorDash again and probably won't be eating there again period. A good restaurant being ruined by bad employees and customer service. A shame. read more

Ok. Good bark on the ribs but nothing spectacular. They were lightly seasoned with what seems to be just salt and pepper with a forgettable sauce on the side. Shreveport isn't known for it's barbecue (and neither is Louisiana for that matter) but with the limited selection in town they're doing ok. This place is hands down the best bbq place I've been to for their prices! Me and my boyfriend got their three meat plate and one drink. The total was $15.90 but it came with 3 meats, 2 sides, and a roll. We sat inside and the lady brought us our food. She asked if we were sharing, so we said yes. She came back with an extra rib and roll! AMAZING! We got brisket, ribs, and ham with a double side of fries. Sides were good, homemade however that is where the quality ends. Meats were over cooked and dry. The brisket looked like fried beef bacon. My speculation is that it was sliced and then smoked.
