Rude, bland, and crap service. If you want to leave with what you want check your bag before you leave.

The staff was NOT trained for a tea party, which is ironic. We had reservations for 3 adults and one child....we waited over 30 minutes to get served. They brought out water and never asked if we wanted our tea. We got our tiers, but they still didn't bring out tea, we had to ask for it. The food on the tiers were not good...like a biscuit with no jam. I had to ask for small plates and we had to pour our own tea. All in all, a disappointing tea party after our 2 hour drive! My granddaughter is only 2, so she had a good, special time, and for that I praise the ambience of this cute restaurant! But since the restaurant is an Alice and Wonderland place, the staff should be trained to hold an equally magical tea party!! PS. When we got the bill, they had over charged us by 42.00. Remember, before you tip, they add a tip too! The manager did correct our card for their mistake. Sorry, The Hatter, we were very disappointed. A tea party at an Alice and Wonderland restaurant should be MAD and crazy special!

We came for Sunday brunch and the wait staff was super friendly and helpful. Quick service and lovely atmosphere. The toasted coconut iced latte is wonderful! The Sunday menu is small but great options - we ordered the shrimp and grits and the chicken salad on focaccia. Very delicious - chicken salad is spicy served w roasted red potato hash. My shrimp and grits could've used a bit more salt but I loved the buttery flavor with chorizo added to the mix - yum yum. I got a piece of gf banana bread to go they said they could grill it for me. Really enjoyed the experience and food here.

You can tell this is little eatery is both family-run and family-friendly. The menu is expansive, and everything sounded pretty good! I appreciate that they had so many gluten-free options as well, which always feels like a luxury when dining in TN. My husband ordered a short stack of the pancakes, which were the star of the morning! Fluffy and full of flavor, a photo of these can probably found in the dictionary entry for pancakes itself. We also tried the biscuits and gravy and the Wakin' Bacon Sammy, both of which hit the spot and were large portions for the price.

While you can order the typical breakfast fare, my recommendation is you take full advantage of the creative offerings, that which makes this a popular spot for the locals. While there is more eating space than you realize, it is easy to assume the restaurant is too crowded, based upon the limited parking area. Don't make that mistake. The service is expedited by placing your order at the counter and the staff delivers it to your table as soon as it is ready. I had their breakfast sandwich with lox and my daughter their breakfast nachos, both were absolutely delicious! My only complaint was my vanilla latte was a little too sweet, something that is very correctable. It's a cute spot, with dining space both inside and out. It's well worth the visit and if you're too late, hit the burger bar next door.

There is outdoor seating for dogs, though it's not heated, so keep that in mind if you're visiting during colder weather. We were able to sit indoors with me tucked comfortably in my carrier, which made this a perfect stop on a chilly Chattanooga morning. The ordering process is a little different from a traditional restaurant. You order at the counter, grab a seat, and the staff brings everything out when it's ready. It feels more relaxed and efficient than a full-service brunch spot. The food was excellent, but the real stars were the coffee and biscuits. My humans were very happy with both, and I spent most of the meal supervising from my carrier and making sure nobody dropped any crumbs. While there isn't a dog menu, the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and I never felt out of place. Dogba's verdict: Great coffee, excellent biscuits, carrier-friendly indoor seating, and the perfect place to start a day of Chattanooga adventure.

The breakfast burrito had sausage in it and the flavors were there. They have tomato gravy which is great (not as good as our family secret recipe) but it felt like home ordering this. The museum is only $10 so may as well walk around after to let the food settle in and shop at the lodge store which has soooo many options. Will be coming here every time I visit family. It has a bright and open welcoming vibe and our server was outstanding, responsive, courteous and efficient. The selection is large and both of our big breakfasts were very tasty and filling. I had the big bad skillet: scrambled eggs, skillet fried red potatoes and all the meats--bacon, ham and sausage. The combination really works! My partner had the Jack Benny, their version of eggs hollandaise but with a nice slice of ham. I also got their biscuit, which others had recommended to me. Huge biscuits are the rage but not really my fav. This one was crumbly but well baked. The blueberry jam gave it a high yummy rating. Know it is a new southern chain but hey this place and location made it feel like you were back home.
