We had a great experience walking in and buying our Christmas tree today, on thanksgiving. They had a very wide selection and this year our mother wanted a tree in the smaller side, they took us and showed us their selection of smaller trees at a range of affordable prices. In the back they also had spectacular 14-15 ft trees, they also had holiday wreaths. I also just Love the smell of walking through the tent, as close to a pine forest as you'll get in Miami lol. I would like to help anyone this year because unfortunately last year we couldn't enjoy our tree... I'm sad and hate when I have to write a review on an experience but last year we bought our Christmas tree here and within two weeks it was dried out and falling over. We couldn't enjoy it for Christmas- I was so sad and we paid about $100 so it wasn't cheap and bought a stand. We just thought that that we would try and just get it from a cute Christmas tree place and they must be amazing--I'll say the gentlemen who helped us was so nice but that was about it. read more

I had the worse experience in this place within 5 minutes. First of all it was not welcoming at all. We had our puppy with us and read no dogs allowed, we took him out and my husband went inside. The minute they saw my dog one of their employee freaked out and started demanding we moved him and put it inside the car if not he was not going to sell the tree. Listen, we were walking him away, and this guy kept demanding and being abnormally rude!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN will I go back. Worse experience ever. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING THERE! read more

Horrible experience!!! I met the Grinch in person! I was actually looking for two Christmas trees, and wanted to make this a special memory for my daughter and I. Instead, we left with no trees because the manager was so unnecessarily rude. We picked two different trees that were clearly different heights and he wanted to charge us the same price for both. Regardless, we were going to buy big, but he literally took one of the trees from in front of us to put on display. At that point, I decided I wasn't going to buy any trees from him. Let me start by saying that every year since I can remember my family and I have come to Jack's to buy our Christmas tree (formerly known as El Jacks in front of FIU). They are now located in front of the Tamiami airport. Last year when we went to their old location we were surprised because the tree quality was horrible however, we realized that the company had relocated. We were able to find their new location online. Once we made it there we were able to pick out a beautiful tree and this is the second year we come to this location and we are extremely happy. John the owner and George always help us find the perfect tree for our home. They are very kind and knowledgeable! You always find fresh cut trees at a reasonable prices here. read more

Very disappointed.... we bought a tree a week ago, and it started losing needles within a couple days. A week later, my floor looks like a forest- completely covered in green needles. Our experience at Jack's was not very impressive either. When we noticed a similar tree for $30 less, the owner (presumably) gruffly stated "well then just buy the cheaper tree". He then tried to back pedal on how they have such high-quality trees from NC. Well, the tree actually is horrible, and the service wasn't much better. I'll need to buy another tree before Christmas. So thanks, Jack's, for wasting our time and money this holiday season. read more

Nobody was wearing masks during Covid crisis... Especially at this time of year. We felt very uncomfortable because of this. In addition to that they requested that I pick up my service dog and carry him through the Christmas tree lot which is ridiculous. I will never go back again as they were more concerned about my dog than a pandemic... On top of that they were not very courteous whatsoever... The folks working with the trees are super nice but the people in charge and at the payment table are terribly rude and cranky. The manager pricing the trees wanted to charge $65 for one tree. When I asked him the price of the same type of tree only shorter, he said $70. When I showed him it was at least half a foot shorter he said "fine. $65. But I gotta make money. We got cheap trees. Cheaper than Home Depot and they're millionaires." Not wanting go somewhere else because of traffic, I went to buy the shorter tree (it is for a small space) and the chip reader malfunctioned on their credit card machine. I called the credit card company to see if they could authorize the transaction as a swipe at which point the lady started filming me and my child. She also called over one of the men for, in her words, protection. Apparently me and my 7-year-old little girl in her Christian school uniform appeared menacing as I was having a pretty uneventful conversation with the credit card company. At that point, I thought it best to go give my money to the "millionaires" at Home Depot. read more

After 10 consecutive years of buying my christmas trees here, it will never happen again. This has been the worst shopping experience of my life. The first employee that came to assist us immediately tried to scam us for $350, when it's been $90 for the last 5 years. He clearly wanted to pocket the extra money, because right after telling my family that price he asked for his lunch break in the middle of our transaction. Once we went to speak to the manager, he reappeared to tell him that we were all lying. The icing on the cake is that we were all speaking in english, so he thought he could get away with insulting us in spanish. Furthermore, all of the employees there have a clear hatred for this country, just based on the conversations we heard while walking through the isles. I've never been more disappointed in a place of business in my life. If I could give them negative stars I would. read more

Very horrible service, very rude the owner and employees. The employe that was helping us told us that the tree we were going to get was going to cost us $350 dollars, Then proceeds to walk away to have lunch and have somebody else take care of the tree for him to the front, Once we get to the front we proceed to tell the owner that one of his workers told us this would be at $350 he took offense very quickly and kept telling us that he wasn't going to sell us the tree because none of his workers would say that. Then his worker that was going to have lunch comes around the back and appears out of nowhere and says that he did not say that. When in fact he did he just got scared and told another worker to take the tree so he wouldn't get in trouble. He also thought that we wouldn't remember his face once he left. After all this arguing the owner then says the tree is $90 and we would've happily taken it but the rudeness of these people were out of control we were calm cool and collected and left respectfully. Let me add that they thought we didn't speak Spanish until my mom started speaking it and the surprise on the guys face when he knew we understood. read more

Truly one of the worst experiences I've had buying a tree. Starting off on the wrong foot. Enter the tent and no one pays attention to you at all; can see how that might be typical at Christmas tree locations, yet horrible first impression. After waiting 20 minutes to be helped, we finally get helped and look at a 9 ft tree that was priced at $175... the price was RIDICULOUS compared to every other location. The "freshly cut" "better quality" trees are all fluff- they are not worth the prices. After looking at a smaller tree and being told a certain price for the smaller tree, the man working then tells us a higher price tag when we picked the tree. After telling the man he quoted us a different price and receiving attitude, it was at that point I decided I will never come here again. We purchased the tree at the agreed upon price (the man was at least nice enough to be accountable), yet this experience was a big let down. I wouldn't pay for a tree so expense which only provided an upsetting experience. read more
