They came out today and replaced the windshield in my 2006 Colorado and did a fantastic job. Looks better than ever.

Jack's Glass in Elsmere is fantastic! We called Jack's Glass because we had a window that needed to be fixed. Instead of insisting we buy a new very large and expensive front window they sent a wonderful repairman named Jim White to fix it. Mr. White repaired our front window which has three long glass window pieces. He took the window out, fixed the damaged part and put the window back in. He is incredibly competent. The window is now perfect. Mr. White is amazing! We highly recommend Jack's Glass and Mr. White. read more

We reached out to Jack's Glass for a frameless shower door install on June 9th. Jack's was one of three quotes we had and were the least expensive. Unfortunately we did have some issues: 1.Original install was canceled because the glass was damaged in their vendors oven. 2 Second install was aborted because the glass was cut wrong by the vendor 3.Third install was completed but glass door had a chip in the edge the notched return was damaged. We tried to use the enclosure but their was issues with the hinges and the door become inoperable on the enclosure. 4. The 4th install we finally had good glass and the hinges were repaired 5. We had a leak where the shower panels meet the tile, but Jack's came back and repaired it and added a sweep to the shower door as well. July 31st - almost 7 weeks later SO - why the 4 star review? Well we chose Jack's partially because they came recommended from a couple of co-workers. We hope our issues were the exception and not the rule and some of the issues were with the vendor they use for glass and not Jack's. In the end we had a nice set of doors and a fair price and all issues were handled promptly. read more

This past Tuesday, I had the misfortune of getting two rather large stone bruises on my windshield due to a truck two cars ahead of me that didn't cover its load well. Since these two joined two smaller stone bruises I already had, it meant it was time to get the windshield replaced. The only place I would go for something like this is Jack's Glass. If you've ever gone to Florence Freedom ball game, you're already familiar with their slogan - "If it breaks or cracks, call Jack's!" I stopped by Thursday afternoon and set up an appointment for Friday morning for the work to be done. Both times, the guys in the shop were friendly, polite and very knowledgeable. FINALLY a glass place with excellent service and quality work! I have had a nightmare with my new car windshield at another place and coming here was like a breath of fresh air. I was determined to get an OEM windshield as that seemed to be the only glass in my previous experience that wasn't distorted. The manager here assured me this wasn't true and I didn't need to spend the money. He ordered two different brands that would fit my car for me to look at ahead of time and see the quality. The day of service Chris came to my work and completed the service. He must be one of their senior techs because you could tell he was very experienced. I took car in to fix a dime sized "star" in the windshield and totally threw $70 in the garbage can. They said "it won't crack more" but who cares it still looks the same. I'd rather it crack more and have insurance get me a new windshield. Go to safelite, the quality of this work is terrible. No pride. read more

A year ago I dropped off a screen door for a sliding patio door to have the rollers replaced. I was told there wasn't any way to replace mine and would have to order a whole new screen door. Ok. Said it'd be ready in about a week. Ok. I stop in the next week, wait and wait, only to be told it wasn't ready yet. It'd be a couple more days, and they'd be happy to deliver it. Ok. Days go by, then weeks.. months. You get the picture. No call. No delivery. I decided I could live without it, as it was payment upon receipt. I just think it was very poor customer service and bad organization that caused me to slip through the cracks. Next time, I won't be calling Jacks. read more

Stand behind their work. I have a 1961 Mercedes Benz. Recently had them remove the windshields so I could have it painted. When they re-installed the windshields, I told the tech to leave the chrome trim off, I would clean it up and install myself later. However, when I tried, I couldn't get it back into the rubber molding around the window. I called them up and they came back out to my home to try. The tech was the same tech who helped my before. Very courteous. However, he too couldn't get it back in after an hour of trying. We agreed to stop trying, he said he would speak to someone back at the shop later about options. A few days later, I received a text asking if I could bring the car and trim pieces into their shop. I said sure. When I go there, they had a tech who was more experienced with older cars from one of their nearby shops there for my car. He said that you need to put the trim in before you re-install the windshields. Neither I nor the tech that came out originally knew that. Long story short. He pulled both windows out again, and re-installed with the trim. It came out great. They did not charge me any extra for the work as they took responsibility for not letting me know about the chrome needing to be installed before the windshield re-install. Watch out for one of these guys driving on the roads. About ran me off of the road this morning license plate ending in 5105. On 275. You should be a little more careful advertising your business while driving like that. Definitely won't be using these guys. read more

I asked Jack's for a quote to install a 2" beveled mirror glass "picture frame" around my current master bath mirror--to enhance the look and to hide a 5" crack along the edge. His quote was OK, the work done the next day and the quality was excellent. It saved me from having to buy a new 40" x 60" mirror. read more

Highly recommend!! First class service from pulling in the parking lot to leaving. They were able to cut a mirror while I wait! Very professional and polite. They were able to provide me with some installation tips in order for mirror not to erode. Place was very clean and organized. I would always recommend them from now on. Great job guys! read more

I took a medicine cabinet door with a cracked mirror to them. The guy at the desk was curt and unfriendly. I asked if they could fix the door. He said maybe then asked for my credit card. I asked why, he said they would order the mirror first. I told them not to order the mirror until they were sure they could get the cracked mirror off the door. The guy didn't like that. I waited 2 weeks and called them. I waited another 2 weeks and finally after 5 weeks total wait time, they called and said the door was ready. I paid the you pissed off the counter guy price. The door sat in the shop for 4 weeks before they ordered the mirror. I will never go back. I saved $200 by not having to replace the whole cabinet but in hindsight I would have paid more to avoid their lousy customer service. read more
