The slowest most poorly operated Jacks in the county . They have 2 ordering stations outside and can't even properly serve one. The wait times are mind boggling! Never will we attempt to get food there again. Not the first time but definitely the last. read more

We had the most delightful waitress at the drive thru this morning. We each ordered something different and everything was good. I ate a smoke sausage and enjoyed it. Jacks was busy, but still the workers were so kind. Food was hot, tasty. The building was clean, which is very important.

I love Jack's. I love this location. ( It's Childersburg with a Sylacauga address {CRAZY}). The will overcook the biscuits sometimes. Ask for a biscuit that's not overdone. Overall, good place. Clean and efficient. HOWEVER, I ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes BLT recently. It's become a seasonal item. Last year, the WHOLE COMPANY ran out of the tomatoes very quickly. I figured I best get one FAST before they ran out. So DISAPPOINTED. THE TOMATOES were a burned, extremely over cooked hockey puck. Very inedible. Maybe retraining is needed. read more

A little ways off of the highway, but worth driving past the other fast food locations if you're a fan of their sweet tea. As I was heading to a location close by for a management team meeting, I wanted to get a quick snack and drink after driving for about 90 minutes. Staff here (drive through) were very friendly and quick in taking the order and filling it once I got to the window. Quality of food was the same as any Jack's location I've been to. The fries had the signature seasoning that you would expect to have. Not that I would be in the area often, I wouldn't have a problem returning to this location. read more

I came to this location today in hopes of ordering a grilled chicken sandwich with green beans as a side instead of fries. They were very friendly. But upon arriving home with my food, I noticed they'd given me fries. What a horrible crime, I was devastated. I was forlorned. Does life really hold such a bleakness? The darkness overlapped my soul as I peered into the oily glands of the fries. They were French. And with an American heart, I weeped as if I was in the Italian war. The beens were green. But they weren't in my presence. So they were darkened like the deep abyss of my hurt feelings, once a kindred spirit now a bitter soul. read more

Upon ordering my breakfast from the lovely lady at the counter I found myself delighted at the sight of my breakfast. The grits were not to salty and covered with just the right amount of butter. My bacon was crispy and the only problem was there wasn't more. My eggs were cooked to perfection. Now there are no words for how unbelievably good the biscuit and gravy were. I've given this Jacks' customer service the benefit of the doubt 3 straight visits, but this 4th time signifies a trend. Does it seriously kill you to speak to someone and smile while taking their card and tossing them their drink and food? I guess for this particular Jacks it does. It's also odd that you can't talk to the customer but you have all the time in the world to dance with your coworkers while halfway getting the order right and serving the customer a burnt bun. I have nothing against Jacks as a restaurant because I go to many across the state, and have little to no problem with them. But this one seems to go out of its way to make you feel unwelcomed. My advice is if you have a craving for Jacks in the local area, and time is not an issue, just do yourself a favor and go to the one in Harpersville who actually wants your business because this one has shown that it couldn't care less. read more
