Heres what they broke off my car
Johnny P.

Not only did they tow my vehicle(even with appropriate parking pass) just minutes before they closed and would force me to pay a overnight fee the next day. The parking permit was clearly in my car when i recieved my car and to find that my door handle was broken. Im so upset with this business all i could do was pay and leave. It was a horrible experience. I cant even open my car door with having to crawl through the passenger side. Of course this company wont take ownership of that

on McGee Street.
Be very careful dealing with these guys.

Needs a "0" rating. Jacks Towing just screwed over a world-class track star from a college in town who was away representing our city, college, and country at a track meet in another country. The Mesquite Square apartments just put in a new law about parking. This athlete just got into town to pick up his "new parking permit" but arrived when the office was closed. As he is heading to go move his car, Jack's Towing in backing up to tow his vehicle. He runs to the vehicles and explained that he just got into town and was trying to get his permit. They are closed. I was coming over to move it. Let me go get my keys and come move it please. The worker for Jack's Towing said: Ok, no problem. While the athlete went to his upstairs apartment, the worker took off with the vehicle. Just like that. It's going to cost him $300 to get the car back. I'm not sure what kind of business Jack's Towing and Mesquite Square Apartments have going. The athlete mentioned that the worker smelled like he had been drinking. There is something not right about this kind of business dealings in Abilene. Jack's Towing may be good at coming to your aid, I'm thankful for that. But don't turn your back on them when they are trying to make a buck. NO integrity here on someone's part.

Very incompetent business. Took my truck from Willowcrest Apartments when I had a sticker on the front for a parking pass.

After my car was done, while driving home I experienced what a good job the tech did on my alignment; the steering wheel was perfectly straight, and more importantly the car was not pulling to the left or the right. I'll definitely be coming back for more work when I need it! Overall, I was very satisfied with one exception. I'm disabled and sometimes use a walker (I did the day of my alignment) and there were no ramps. There were several fairly shallow steps to get from the parking lot to the customer waiting area that were a nuisance to me, but I was able to make it in with moderate effort. If the store was more handicapped accessible, I'd give Big Country Tire a perfect ten. As it stands, I rate them 9.5/10

Be prepared to wait for a while for service but if you drop it off and someone picks you up is the best way i have found. They are busy busy most all the time. I ordered new wheels and tires for both my new 2024 RAM 2500 Limited and my wife's Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. The initial install went great aside from them leaving all my new wheels and tires a mess from the install. Hey, these things happen, but is disappointing when spending that much on nice new things. What is causing this post is I took my truck in for a rotation and while doing so one of the techs didn't pay attention and broke off a wheel stud with his impact gun. They told me they did it and gave me info to get it covered, but unfortunately I had to handle finding a shop and handle getting fixed, taking a 1/2 day off from work. Then it was a pain to get reimbursed - not at all a good experience. Zero customer care. A few weeks ago it was time for another rotation and this time I decide to have the dealership do it as part of a service. I immediately get a call asking who last worked on my tires and wheels. I ask why and they proceed to tell me (2) of the studs are broken off 1/2 way inside the lug nuts. The opposite side from where the previous tech had broken a stud. I had to pay to have dealer fix and then when I try to contact Discount Tire, I either get left on hold or leave a message that is never returned. This happened multiple times. I decided once again to try contacting Discount Tire before leaving a negative review and Josh is not available so I speak with Derek. Derek seems to actually take an interest and I explained everything to him and he agreed to reimburse me for the costs caused by damage. Just needed a receipt. I let him know I was traveling and would get with him later in the week. I called him and due to our schedules not aligning I emailed him the info and asked for a confirmation that he received what he needed. Now radio silence. I have tried numerous times to reach him for the past week or so, 10+ rings for someone to answer the phone, sitting on hold for 10+ minutes, I have now decided my time is worth more than this effort and money. I have posted a picture the dealer sent me, I do not have a picture of the original damage. Yes everyone is nice, but the reality is I cannot trust them to work on my vehicles nor do they seem to have their business running in a fashion focused on customer service. Be cautious on using them for anything.

I must brag on the service at Tom's Tire Pros I used to…read moretake my car to a dealership in town and really thought they were good until I discovered they had lied to me about some routine car care that they said they did, only to find out later it was, in fact, never done. They will remain nameless. It is not my nature to slam a business. Personally, it shook my confidence and trust, though. Fast forward. Had to buy four new tires after the discovery of the "false care" from them. My son recommended Tom's Tire Pros, so I bought them there. I had to charge them so had all of the road hazard insurance added. Then, I called and had the wheels aligned there and decided to go there for my oil change. The alignment and the oil change cost less than I had paid at other places in the past. The topper came this week, though. I had been hearing a loud squeak in the springs or frame or whatever??? I took it up to them to ask if someone could drive it around slowly and listen to it to see if it could be fixed or what it would cost. One of the shop guys did just that and came in and was telling the service writer what he did. I walked up and asked him to tell me. He said it was the stabilizer that was squeaking and something about struts?? I'm a girly girl so understood some of it, but bottom line, I could replace something or other, but it would be fine without it. He greased the squeaking really well, with it on the lift rack and it was gone. There would still be a popping in the something?? I never heard that to begin with, and haven't still.? So, I asked the mechanic if he would replace the part and he said no. I said okay, I'm not. The replaced thing was $600. I went to pay, and they both said " No Charge "!! I tried to tell them thank you but could hardly get the words out with out crying I told them how much it means to me to be able to trust a business like theirs again!!! Just can't recommend this place enough!
