They obviously have no idea how to tow an AWD vehicle. They used a wheel lift to tow an awd grand cherokee srt. When I called them out on it they decided to "help me out" and drop the vehicle where he stopped instead of at the yard. They then proceed to tell me that this "wasn't their first rodeo" and that was how they always tow an awd. Well then they have no business at a rodeo and should stay off the horse. If I could rate this at 0 stars then I would. My Aunt was in a car accident on wednesday and this company had towed her car. Insurance has been trying to get ahold of them since then. They claim insurance hasn't called when that is not the case. We have been calling everyday to get the car picked up and they refuse to answer the phone. We got someone to answer on friday at 4pm and he said "Well we get a lot of spam calls" to justify not answering the insurance company and then says "Well, we close at 5 so there's nothing i can do today" which is just ridiculous. We finally got them to answer today (5 days later) and the man who answered was VERY rude and unprofessional. My Aunt has her insurance company on my line while we have Jack's Towing on her phone and as my aunt is once again trying to explain the situation he cuts her off and says "Are you just calling to argue?!" this whole experience has been awful. Not only did they tow my vehicle(even with appropriate parking pass) just minutes before they closed and would force me to pay a overnight fee the next day. The Mesquite Square apartments just put in a new law about parking. This athlete just got into town to pick up his "new parking permit" but arrived when the office was closed. As he is heading to go move his car, Jack's Towing in backing up to tow his vehicle. He runs to the vehicles and explained that he just got into town and was trying to get his permit. They are closed. I was coming over to move it. Let me go get my keys and come move it please. The worker for Jack's Towing said: Ok, no problem. While the athlete went to his upstairs apartment, the worker took off with the vehicle. Just like that. It's going to cost him $300 to get the car back. I'm not sure what kind of business Jack's Towing and Mesquite Square Apartments have going. The athlete mentioned that the worker smelled like he had been drinking. When we realized we went to the wrong one we called and they told me we had 20 minutes to get there before they "get rid of my truck". we finally get the the right place and the sign on the front lists the prices for the service( none were even remotely expensive) and that they take card, BUT we were told it was $300 and that it had to be all cash. To have to spend either $184 cold hard cash or $200 in debit/credit just to have my car removed after being towed without my knowledge or with any warning out of the parking lot where my apartment complex is at is ridiculous. I got a notice that my car had been towed. I called to pick it up he said it would be 2 hours before he could get here. The sign says they have 1 hour to release the car. I'm a disabled vet and my mother is also disabled in a wheelchair. Called jacks on 10/02/2022 at 8:45pm. So they can come to timber ridge apartments to tow a non- handicap person from our handicap spot. Waited a hour no one came. Called back was told he was the only driver and would be here soon. 6:30 am still no tow truck. Even when their place is only a couple miles from where I live. Had to have my son come to help get his grandmother and her wheelchair in the house and come back to the far place I had to park to help. It bad enough that someone would take a handicap person parking when not handicap. But not to have the people that are responsible for fixing the problem never show up. That's bad business.
