The Ladies at this place seem annoyed to be working there. They do nothing to help the customer and act like if they're doing you a favor.

I would totally recommend this office if they answered their phones and helped their clients. Been trying to get ahold of my tax lady and it's been a struggle. I've had the same lady for a very long time and want to continue using her but not being able to get ahold of her is a problem. I passed by the office only to find that there is no receptionist to help. I quickly left. I got my taxes done here 4 years ago and I've been coming back ever since. For the first 2 years I worked with Marilyn. She was so friendly, you could see she found joy in helping people with their taxes and I always left like I was really being taken care of. After Marilyn retired, I was elated to work with her daughter Cathy. This is now my second year with Cathy and I don't want to go to anybody else. I don't even live nearby and I have no problem making the trip. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, Cathy is wonderful to work with. I always feel like she's rooting for me and wants me to get the most out of my taxes. Filing taxes can feel like such a daunting experience, but with Cathy she really makes the best out of it! A couple of tips: 1. This Jackson Hewitt is separate than the others, which means not all the promotions that you get in Jackson Hewitt emails apply to this location. I feel like if you're a new customer some probably do, but just be aware that they are separate from the other Jackson Hewitt corporate locations. 2. CALL to book your appointment in advanced, don't leave it to the last minute! 3. If you've been with them before and like who you worked with, you can make an appointment with them again this year, just let them know when you call 4. BE KIND! When I was getting my taxes done a man walked in DEMANDING an appointment, he was livid that he couldn't be seen and demanded to be seen the following day. Do not be this guy. Plan ahead, make your appointment by phone, don't wait till the last minute and expect to be seen. That's unrealistic and also gross! Parking is always easy, it's in a huge shopping center. read more

I'm a little bummed. I gave them a 5 star review last year even though i recall there being issues with the online booking system. Same deal this year... they continue to allow you to make appointments for unavailable time slots. I chose a 5pm weekend appointment but was called and asked to reschedule to a different day only, unlike last year, my schedule couldn't accommodate their availability. I recommend skipping the booking system and calling to schedule. Definitely don't make the mistake of changing your work schedule unless you have spoken directly to someone at the office. read more
