I am deeply disappointed with the service I received from [LEGEND TAX,CPA]. As a loyal customer, I expected timely and efficient tax filing services, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Despite providing all necessary documentation well in advance of the deadline, my taxes were not filed in a timely manner. The lack of communication from [Legend Tax, CPA] regarding the status of my tax filing only added to my frustration. I had to constantly follow up with them to inquire about the progress, and each time, I was met with vague responses and excuses. As a result of their negligence, I experienced undue stress and anxiety, worrying about potential penalties for late filing. It's unacceptable for a professional tax service company to fail in such a fundamental aspect of their service. I expected better from [Legend Tax, CPA], and unfortunately, they failed to meet even the most basic expectations. I will not be returning as a customer and cannot recommend their services to others who value timely and reliable tax filing. I made an appointment on March 22nd, paid my fees for a service that I didn't receive. The offer manager, Ryan was quick to take my money. All of the documents were sent through docu-sign, and someone dropped the ball when they didn't capture the electronic signature. So in return this now delays my refund. What is the point of making an appointment early to file when they don't submit in a timely manner. So not sure what other emails, or calls I was suppose to make here. Reached out to Eddy based on a personal friend's recommendation. Eddy for some reason never responded to emails and only would call hoping he would catch me. Eventually we connected and he said would be best to meet in person. I scheduled a time to meet with him a month later. The following week his assistant called me 3 times in a row, then called my wife twice, then me 2 more times trying to reschedule my meeting since Eddy was going to be traveling during the time I had scheduled and wanted to set a meeting for 2 months after our original conversation. I can't speak to his ability to deal with taxes, but the inability, or unwillingness to send an email and the fact that his assistant called me until I answered like a scorned ex was enough for me to no want to deal with this organization. read more

I went to a new tax office this year and was shown how he had overcharged me hundreds of dollars. If you're new to business taxes go somewhere else. Where to start? Wow! So, originally my business partner and I came in to Legend tax to file our first taxes for our small business. We started our company in 2013 and failed to file our 2013 taxes, to make matters worse we also didn't file our 2014 taxes and had to get a 5 month extension. We were coming down to our last straw and we went here on recommendation from Larson IT. We couldn't be more satisfied. At the end of it all we thought we were going to owe about $1500 in CPA fees and about $1000-2000 in backed taxes. We went to the office and met up with Eddy C. and we began to talk about our company. I really liked how he didn't jump right into the business, he asked us about what we did and seemed genuinely interested to forge a relationship. I did not expect this from a CPA (I honestly didn't know what to expect) We went on to go over our taxes, which weren't exactly in the best order, but we did have them inputed into quick books in descent shape. The entire process went on for about 4 hours; this was a bit longer than I expected, but here's why! In the end, Eddy told us that we only had to split the taxes $800 between each partner. However, he then said that it wasn't money we owed, but it was a refund instead. We both paid taxes and received an income almost instantly. The crazy thing is, the fees were actually a lot more reasonable than I expected as well. That was a relief! Here's the thing: he also went back on my personal taxes and made an amendment back in 2013 and found a way to refund me an additional $1000.00 No way, right? Yelp did not disappoint me this time again when we needed to find a CPA who can help us with our estimated taxes and tax return. I contacted at least 10 CPAs and Eddy was the only CPA who not only responded to my call quickly but also provided me more information than I needed to know about working with K-1. Because we live in O.C., we had to cancel our first consultation appointment due to bad traffic, and then I was almost an hour late to our rescheduled appointment due to bad traffic again. Eddy showed a great understanding and still spent 40 minutes with us. Then, he was able to squeeze us to help us with our tax return two days after our consultation meeting in March, which is usually the busiest month for CPAs.
