Jackson Hole Burgers 362 Grand Ave. Englewood, NJ 07631 Western Burger For this location, I wandered about a mile off Palisade Ave. This gigantic burger was topped with melted jack cheese, fried onions, and a heaping pile of bacon smothered in barbecue sauce. The 7 ounce burger was so huge that you could get a workout by lifting it. In addition to being known for its burgers, Jackson Hole is also known for its nostalgic 1950s atmosphere. #JacksonHole #JacksonHoleBurgers #westernburger #grandave

I've been coming to Jackson Hole for breakfast for years and honestly nobody does it better. The open kitchen, friendly staff, and fresh ingredients always make it feel like a neighborhood staple. Portions are generous too and you'll never leave hungry. I highly recommend the Wyoming Omelette if you love mushrooms and bacon. It is absolutely stuffed to the brim with freshly sautéed ingredients. The pancakes are super fluffy and taste freshly made, and the fruit has never once tasted frozen. Plus, your coffee cup somehow always stays full because the servers really stay on top of it. They serve breakfast all day and just a heads-up: it's cash-only so make sure you come prepared. My only small disappointment is that prices have definitely gone up and some of the little touches I used to love aren't included anymore. Coffee used to come with breakfast, you'd get a complimentary shot of fresh OJ, and they served amazing link sausage but now it seems like a standard frozen patty instead. It's still very good but it used to be the best. Breakfast for two now runs over $50 which feels a bit steep. Still, despite the changes over the years, Jackson Hole remains one of my favorite spots for a hearty classic breakfast.

My husband and I had a great experience at Jackson Hole in Englewood! He ordered the Cheddar Burger with fries, and I had the Bacon Cheeseburger with onion rings both were delicious and cooked perfectly. The pickles were awesome and definitely stood out! The service was great they were very attentive. What really makes this place special is the atmosphere. The classic diner vibe is spot-on, and I absolutely loved the working jukebox at each table. Such a fun, nostalgic touch that you don't see anymore. The whole old-school design of the restaurant adds so much charm. We'll definitely be back!

Nice ambiance and retro vibe. Brought my wife after visiting her mom in the hospital. I was so looking forward to having their burger. We sat down and the server came over and took our drink order. Waiter came and took our order. 2 cheeseburger platters medium. Simple right? Burgers showed up looking fabulous. Cut it open and the burger was raw in the middle. Literally RAW. Waitress came over realizing there was a problem and took the plate back. My wife cut hers in half and same thing....RAW in the middle. Gentleman came from behind the counter and asked what was wrong. I explained that we ordered our burgers medium but they were still raw in the middle. He asked if we wanted them medium to which I replied "That's what we initially asked for but just make them well done". They returned to our table after a few minutes with our burgers. Mind you they were the ORIGINAL ones we sent back. They just put them back on the grill and served them to us again. So disappointing that they didn't re do the whole thing. Then I look at my cold fries and see raw meat on them. Wow! that just killed the whole experience. So sad that they would do that. Very very disappointed. Oh well this is a one and done. Sorry Jackson Hole. You really hurt yourselves with this service.

What a FUN FIND during my Englewood weekend! Driving down Grand Ave, you cannot miss the giant glowing sign that says "DINER" underneath . EYE CATCHING ! Then I spotted this adorable sea-green caravan (trailer? camper?) parked on the outdoor patio, and I had to stop. That day I just took photos of the exterior and promised myself I'd come back for breakfast. And yes, I kept my word. Two days later, I marched right in and was seated all the way in the back --like, way back. I didn't even know they had more tables tucked back there. When the waitress waved us toward the kitchen, I was confused thinking, "Where is she taking us??" but it ended up being this cozy little nook ....kind of like entering the "Bridge to Terabithia"--but this wasn't a mystical forest ...this was a hidden wing of 50s nostalgia, diner mugs, and sweet French toast bliss I had already memorized the menu online (yes, I was that excited), so I knew I was ordering the fresh-squeezed orange juice no matter what. Also , I got a coffee (they have almond milk!!), and we shared the French toast with Canadian bacon and scrambled eggs , it was plenty for two people. The place is clean-ish ( lots of clutter memorabilia.. everywhere), the staff was friendly, and the music was perfect (Marvin Gaye and Johnny Cash --I was vibing). Decor-wise, it's a lot -- a little overstimulating with all the decorative artifacts for my taste, but I know people who'd love it. I still enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was great, coffee kept flowing, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Was it $21-for-one-plate good? Hmm. That's debatable honestly . But the fresh squeezed OJ? Pressed, cold, BIG -- I even had enough to take some home. WORTH IT ! Final bill before tip: $44 (2 coffees, 2 OJs, 1 shared meal - french toast , eggs w. Canadian bacon + extra bacon) Would I go back? Absolutely. I've got my eye on their infamous burgers !! And it was enjoyable for the experience and better quality " diner" food !!

This place was great. It has a diner feel and the service and staff were great. The burger was AMAZING, large with just a few toppings but it just falls apart into wonderful delicious pieces while the rest drips goodness down your hands and chin. Ask for extra napkins early. Loved it and will be back after this all digests.

Know before you go: CASH ONLY This was such a cool spot to visit. As a burger lover, as a photographer, and as a lover of all things nostalgic, this retro diner ticked all my boxes. In fact, the dressings and decorations are such that were it not for the smartphones in everyone's hand, it'd be hard to know you weren't suddenly thrown back to the 80s. They set down plates of their fresh pickles as soon as you get to the table, and I loved these. They're closer to brined cucumbers than the taste of full-on bottled pickles, and it was hard to not gobble all of them up before we got our food. The menu is diner-like in its scope and variety, but I personally wouldn't dare order anything but its burgers. One, because the very name suggests their speciality; two, because such a large portion of their menu is dedicated to their burger varieties, and three, because I was seated with a direct view of the grill, and it was clear they knew what they were doing when it comes making burgers. What sets Jackson Hole's burgers apart are their size and cooking method. Each burger is an entire fistful of fresh beef, which has a goblet thrown on top of it as soon as it hits the grill. What results is a giant patty that is both large and juicy from the steam-like action. I ordered their New York burger, a more classic type, while my husband went a little wild with their Texas burger, which comes topped with chili and an egg. Both were extremely filling and somewhat messy to eat. For my preferences, I found that the large patties threw the bun-to-meat ratio off a little, but we certainly didn't leave hungry. Also note: the prices reflect the serving sizes. Most of the available seating are booths and small tables, but our server was kind enough to let me walk into the back where there were larger booths and a semi-private room (which looked like it could seat up to 9 or 10). The back part of the restaurant was even more a blast from the past than the front, and I imagine fans of the 80s would adore the space.

I stumbled on this place while visiting family. It's like walking back in time. An old fashion style diner. Chrome and glass everywhere. They even have working table side juke boxes. The place is very clean and in excellent condition. They even have an electric juicing machine to make fresh squeezed OJ. My server was terrific. He was always around, seeing if I needed anything. I was there for breakfast. I had a "Healthy Omelet". This was three egg whites, fresh diced turkey breast, guacamole, and onions and diced tomatoes. It came with the ubiquitous home fry potatoes and i got multigrain toast. It was huge. I could not finish it. And it tasted awesome. I wrote a thank you note on the check and left a good tip. I love being surprised with quality food in an unexpectedly nice environment. I cannot wait to go back for more.

I'm back for the burger again. It is consistently one hecka good burger. The meat is such good quality. It is tender and juicy. The bun is substantial enough to allow you to have a drippy juicy burger without the bun completely turning to mush or falling apart. Add to it amazingly crispy steak fries, and it is a meal beyond compare. It's very hard to find steak fries anymore. They make them here and they make them as crispy as you like. Love the burger and fries here. I could eat it every day!

I had another terrific cheeseburger and fries here. This may now be my favorite go to hamburger place. I asked for it rare and I got it rare. The meat is so tender and juicy and tasty here. The fries are crispy outside and soft inside.

Always a treat to stop in Jackson Hole and grab breakfast with an old friend when I'm in the area. Friendly staff and hot off the grill good eats!

Jackson Hole is a place we didn't expect to go. I ordered the Pizza Burger, the platter, and it was so much from the 7oz beef patty. My mango smoothie was delicious too. Service was great and friendly. The initial vibes feel as though you walked into a timeless diner, stepped in to hear some tunes and ordered a good meal. Bring cash only, plenty of parking available.

Lets start with the good, the cheese empanada was very cheese and with a lightly crispy/flaky crust. My daughter loved this! The caprese sandwich was warmed and so delicious! The chocolate mousse cup was light and airy with a crisp dark chocolate cup. One of the best mousse i have had! The cannolis my daughter loved . Now the bad... We ordered the mint lemonade for my daughter and found a bug in it ( like a fruit fly) as soon as it was brought to our table. When i took it back to the counter the lady just smiled at me and offered to replace saying she didnt "think" it was from the machine and just flying around. I told her it was unacceptable and would have been more upsetting had my daughter drank it. Then was given a light apology but thats all , which is so strange to me . Then i received the chai ( which at the counter i was informed could be made less sweet). It was overpoweringly sweet, when i took this back they said it was a premixed powder and already has the sweet mixed in ( very strange why i was told it could be adjusted then :/). Anyways, overall a nice clean place but check your drinks before drinking for sure . Loved all the food items we got though !

It's refreshing to find a steakhouse that serves food and drinks late on a Sunday night. The decor, vibes, and clientele are upscale. It's not uncommon for exotic cars to pull up at the valet station. We sat at the bar and were waited on by James who had a great personality and a flair for mixing cocktails. The "White Walker" is a long-standing cocktail on the Sofia menu, and it really hit the spot (Ketel One vodka, coconut cream, lychee, lemon and club soda). My wife tried the "Geisha's Lullaby" - a Japanese whisky cocktail with pistachio, lime, falernum and vanilla. This cocktail was outstanding! On the food side, I ordered Cacio E Pepe. I enjoyed it. Not creamy like the typical cacio e pepe, but the pasta was served over a delicious slice of beef carpaccio. I'd rate it a 4.5 of 5.0. To finish the evening, I enjoyed a pour of Redbreast 12 from Sofia's wall of spirits. Whiskey lovers will enjoy the options, including luxury pours. My wife tried a Peaches in Paris cocktail - white peach puree, vodka, lemon, St. Germain, and Peychaud's bitters. The Peychaud's bitters bullied this cocktail making it slightly unbalanced. Overall though, we loved the cocktail program.

I ordered the Santa Fe egg white sandwiches, which came on one of their aptly named 'Asiago thintastic' bagels. When toasted, it was crackly on the outside with a distinct aged cheese flavor. It supposedly comes with roasted tomato salsa and spicy jalapeño salsa cream cheese; I don't know if I saw those distinct additions, but there was a zingy schmear of something that tasted like pimiento cheese that added incredible flavor. They were also perfectly amenable to my request to swap out the turkey sausage with a standard sausage patty. My husband opted for their healthier options. The Avocado Egg white sandwich, which comes with lettuce, tomato, avocado, and a fold of egg whites, was also delicious. Our order only took minutes, but everything was hot and fresh and I especially loved how melty the cheese in our sandwiches got. The name suggests they specialize in bagels and breakfast sandwiches, but there's a fair spread of hot sandwiches on the menu as well. There's plenty of seating inside this cavernous dining room, with both counters and tall stools by the windows or two- and four-top tables throughout. Bathrooms are also available at the very rear of the restaurant. In a strange and somewhat ironic twist, pets aren't allowed inside, but they sell dog treats (beef-based and adorably shaped into bagel shapes) by the counter.
