The line to order and the presence of the ordering tablets made me a bit confused, not gonna lie, but the food came out quickly and was delicious. The portion sizes were great and so were the prices. Great alternative to Five Guys and much less food coma inducing. There was a decent amount of seating, so if you want to chill and eat with your friends, you absolutely can (that's what I did!). I had the combo of chicken sandwich, fries, and soda for $15. In this economy, any meal under $20 is a solid bang for your buck. Considering how I had an impulsive meal at McDonald's for $13 of similar portions not too long ago, Marty's is a better deal by miles. The chicken sandwich is nicely battered and arrived slathered in their house sauce that reminds me of In N Out's 'animal' sauce. I like the addition of the sweet pickles, too. And their Cole slaw is actually good; also made in house. The fries used to be thinner, which I miss. But I can't get over how good the salt and vinegar ones are. Getting the double cheeseburger combo is such a great deal for around $15 you will be FULL with fries and a drink. If you aren't a fan of lettuce tomatoes pickles, I recommend getting the double swiss shroom dijon burger which has caramelized onions and mushrooms. Their fries are also super fresh, hand cut, and delicious. I wasn't a huge fan of their poutine because it was super watery. Same with their chili, the flavor kind of reminded me of canned food. Ive tried their chili dogs on multiple occasions and felt the same each time. Very generic I would skip the hotdogs. Came here during lunch, my friend suggested this spot and I been eyeing this place for a while. I have heard only good things about this place so was looking forward to it. This was my second time ordering from Marty's. I have eaten a lot of burgers, and I can say that Marty's is one of my favorites. Their burgers are consistently of high quality and have fresh ingredients. I initially tried their classic single burger without the cheese, but chose "The BBQ" burger this time. It was absolutely delicious! The onions and bacon were perfectly crisp, the jalapeños added a subtle spiciness, and the smoke sauce brought it all together. Also, this is one of the few selections that allows a substitution of vegan cheese. I don't tolerate dairy, so this is ideal. The only disappointment was the fries. Grabbed a burger from Marty's for a late dinner on a weeknight. It's a small quick service restaurant, where you order at the register and pick it up at the counter. There aren't many tables, so I think it's mostly for takeout. The menu is short. They have burgers, chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, hot dogs, and fries. They also have various toppings that can go on any of their sandwiches. I ordered a double cheeseburger and fries, and they soon called me up. The burger I got looked great. The veggies were surprisingly fresh and flavorful. The lettuce and tomato was crispy and sweet, while the pickles were crunchy and tart. There were also chopped onions on the burger. The patties were smashed, but still very juicy, with the cheese well melted. The burger actually looked better than advertised! The fries were made from fresh cut potatoes, and they definitely tasted like it. The burger is almost perfect. My only complaint is that the burger was too soft. The meat was flavorful, but it was so soft you could probably get away with not chewing. I would have liked a little more texture and bite in the beef patty. The only things in the burger that weren't very soft were the crunchy pickles and slightly crisp lettuce and tomato. Prices are actually really good. Their double cheeseburger combo is currently only $12.50, whereas a Baconator combo at Wendy's currently sets you back $11.99. Got uber delivery. Mushroom burger was good, but packed a lot of umami. They probably went a little heavy on the caramelized onions. Fries (old bay?) had good flavor, but were soft by the time they arrived. Orange float was awesome, and banana pudding was pretty good. - I know it's literally called banana pudding, so obviously it has banana pieces. But I think it'd be better if they excluded the banana, and just infused more banana flavor into the pudding. The banana pieces were a little mushy, maybe from oxidation, and detracted from the overall texture. Or alternatively - use fresh slices right out the peel. Have really enjoyed my food from Marty's in the past, and it's a good thing, because if today was my first time dining, I might not go back! I waited to order while a family of 5 in front of me had questions about everything on the menu and then had to customize everything in their order! Not the restaurant's fault! After waiting 5 minutes for the family to be done ordering it's my turn. Now the cashier has to replace the receipt tape and then reprint the family's large order, twice. I'm ready to pass out! Finally, I get to order my spicy chicken combo. It was relatively busy, but my food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. I'm dining in, and it's a good thing because my fries were at best warm, and would have been stone cold had I taken my order to go. I don't know how fries can be warm and limp when the restaurant is busy. My spicy chicken sandwich was a bit sloppily made and undercooked! It wasn't raw and I didn't get sick from it, but it definitely could have used another minute or two in the fryer. There were 3 workers behind the counter. One fellow who seemed unhappy and two space cadets, who were pleasant. Been wanting to try Marty's for a while and recently got the chance to do so. We stopped by on a Friday at around 6:15, and there were some people dining in but most seemed to be getting food to go. Since we wanted to try both the burger and the chicken, we got a combo of each. The Cheeseburger + Original Fries + Soda Can and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich + Original Fries + Soda Can. It's a pretty good deal if you compare it to similar burger/chicken spots, or even Shake Shack. Plus, the sandwiches are bigger here. Hubby and I each went halfsies on the two. I enjoyed both, thought I can't remember now which one I liked more (but it's usually the burger in these situations). Fries are okay. I could probably skip these next time and just go for a Double. When you get it fresh (I think it mostly depends on how many stops the food courier has to make before they get to you, so you probably want to do pick up), the fries have good flavor and crispiness to them. They also smell SO good. I have to admit the chicken sandwiches aren't always super consistent, but I'm still giving five stars because when it's good, it's GOOD. And I still love them even when they're not at their best Super juicy inside with nice soft buns that are toasted on the inside - very important detail for me - and hold everything together. This review is based on delivery takeout. Let me start off by saying, first time and sadly, last time here. The burger - so soggy so greasy, just holding it kind of makes you feel dirty. This place serves up some mean burgers - all the other reviewers ain't lying - I did feel like I was eating something of a cross between Shake Shack with their well-seasoned patties, and In-N-Out.. actually I only had In-N-Out once so I can't really compare... and Five Guys with their addictive peanut oil-fried fries. I love me some Martys! Its one of my favorite spots for burgers and some crispy chicken. I have been coming here and ordering delivery for years now. They have really really good mac and cheese and banana pudding. They have a nice selection of burgers, chicken, and sides. They have hotdogs too but I haven't had them but my coworkers like them. Super packed for a Sunday there was a little line forming, I was surprised and hope this was a sign that the food was good. I was actually super amazed at how good it was, a simple burger on a sesame seed bun with hand cut fries was just what I needed. WoW! Talk about a burger spot that will rock your socks off! Fesh-made to order burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, and hand cut French fries are the show stoppers here. And, they do milkshakes! First, if you're a French fries kinda person the fresh cut fries here will satisfy your palate. You can taste the freshness, and crispness. I chose the Old Bay, because I like dry seasoning that gives it a punch. This did the trick. Second, the crispy-crunchy fried spicy chicken sandwich was the bomb! It appears that they use their own batter to coat their chicken. Can't beat a homemade fried chicken sandwich with lots of flavor and texture. Extremely mouth watering experience. Finally, the burgers here were just money! They use a fresh patty cooked on a flattop stove. Even though I'm a big advocate of "grilled meat", this technique is actually great due to the spices used to flavor the meat. It holds better, and brings out the juiciness of the meat vs overcooking on the grill. You can build your own burger, or choose one of their specialty editions. Either way you go, it will leave you wanting more! I chose a single, and kinda regretted not going for the double. They build a very great burger sandwich. The toppings are fresh, and their signature sauce is AMAZING! Not to mention the soft seeded roll is the icing on the cake. FYI: You may miss this location since it sits in a building on a busy road.
