La comida es riquísima, el Servicio Al Cliente es increíble. los precios son justos. Voy caminando a este lugar desde mi casa porque me queda a dos cuadras, y esta vez me llevé una cerveza que tenía en casa. Tú puedes llevar tu botella de vino o tu botella de alcohol porque ahí no se vende alcohol. Y lo acompañé con un pescado que era un bacalao en una salsa cremosa con pimientos, tomate y espinacas. El platillo estaba delicioso ; abundante. Pedí un poco de pan que también estaba riquísimo y suavecito. Ahora hay música en el ambiente y disfruté mucho mi estancia ahí. I found Roman Inn on accident. I'm glad I did. The pizza is good and the crust is how I like it very NY style. Thick and doughy. They have a small seating area inside and out if you want to dine in. Other than pizza, the food is on the pricey side. They serve pasta in the evening and brunch on the weekend. I would definitely come back to try other items on the menu read more

Came to Roman Inn for brunch and had an enjoyable meal. The restaurant is nicely decorated and they have outdoor seating, as well. My iced coffee had a nice presentation and was throughly enjoyed. The main selections were: Vegetable Omelet (The entire dish came with lots of food. The salad was large, the home fries were well seasoned and the omelet was packed with seasonal vegetables....and large, as well). The other was the Lemon Ricotta Blueberry Pancakes (The pancakes were thin and there was so much ricotta, that you didn't even need the lemony syrup). I would never return here again. Last time I came was 10 months ago. I was excited about returning today. Initially, I sat for 15 mins without someone taking my order. Sophia then comes to me after I went to the counter to catch her attention. So on the 18th mark, she took my order. It's now 1:15 still don't have my food. I asked her and she blamed the kitchen having only one chef. But what does that have to do with how long it took her to approach/greet me? She then brings out the wings - there's no lemon pepper on there. Just plain crispy, over fried chicken. Swimming in a puddle of oil. It was gross and not visually appealing. The shrimp comes out ten mins later with no fries. I tell her this is not acceptable. After waiting another ten mins, I get no response. I asked the guy if he was the chef, he said no he was there helping because pizza guy didn't show up. He then says cook in the back is new. Yea, a bit let down here, but maybe becuase my hopes were so high. I did the carbonara, but I did not get carbonara. There was so little meat in this dish I could not tell you if they used bacon, guanciale, or pancetta. What was in there was nice and crispy, so they got that right at least. I also liked that there wasn't any extra BS like peas or onions, but the sauce was a mess. 100% cream, tasted like alfredo. Just all wrong. Meatballs were a little small, but absolutely delicious. Sauce, perfect. I almost didn't want to give one up to my 1 year old, but he had his first 1/2 meatball and loved every bite. This dish was great. Then the marg pizza. I had such high hopes. It was good, but nothing mind blowing. Needed more basil, which I had at home, but still just made it a good pizza. Again, I think I was just expecting too much. Ordered directly from their website for pickup as I heard from a friend the food was good. Also meant to try as I always drove past it. Finally did and was a bit disappointed. I ordered 1 medium plain pizza, 1 Mac pizza pie Large, and 18 wings w fries and extra dressing. First off I get a message when to pick up my food followed by another message 2 minute later that they are busier than normal and my order would be delayed, fine. I get there a few minutes past the stated time of pickup and they said it was still not ready. As I was waiting for my food heard the guy making the pizza asking someone else how to make my pizza, waited an extra 10 minutes for my food. Then right before handing it to me I see the girl take a picture of my pizza before closing the box, didn't think much of it. I get handed the bodes and the medium pie box was 3/4 smaller than the large pie. It was the size of a personal in any other location. I take my food and drive home only to open the large pie (the one the picture was taken) and see that it's not cut. I was infuriated. Thankfully I like to make homemade pizzas so I have a cutter handy. I cut my pizza take a bite, and it's cold. Mind you I live 5 minute car ride from the place this should be. I go to take out the wings and fries and lo and behold no extra sauce which I paid extra for. The wings were good flavor but warm not really hot. What a cute spot! I absolutely love the unassuming decor. This place can be consider a "hole in the wall" but only because it's location. Upon entering , you are greeted my very chic decor and a welcoming environment. The staff was hospitable and always kudos when the chef comes out to have conversation. My table had the chicken and red velvet waffles. They did not disappoint, as the chicken was fl flavored and crisped to perfection and the waffles were the right amount of savory breakfast decadence. The Buffalo wings were equally delicious. I always appreciate a good presentation and they did not disappoint. The dishes are plated beautifully and looked appetizing as soon as it hits the table. Roman Inn has a nice, slightly more upscale look than most pizza places I've been to. I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza with onion rings a second time (only been here twice) and it was awesome. Food was ready within 20-25 mins, so I got there on foot basically right after they finished making it. Their style of pizza is one of the best in my opinion. Crispy, but fluffy inside, good toppings portions, and their cheese is one of my favorites. Onion rings were solid too and I look forward to trying out more of the menu! read more

Someone recommended this place to me so I was excited to try. I give this place 3 stars because the food took a long time and the pizza was just okay. But trust me ... it's the best salad you'll ever have!! Arugula drizzled with a yummy dressing and as you eat you encounter yummy surprises like dates, creamy burrata cheese and some more delights! I stumbled across this restaurant to grab some lunch. I called in my order of the fish sandwich and fries. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I didn't see where the restaurant was because there was no name outside the restaurant. I finally found it and walked in and was greeted. My food wasn't quite done yet so I waited a few. My husband and I had dinner at Roman Inn on March 30. We chose it because we wanted a good byob place with good pizza in Englewood. When I called to make a reservation the week before I confirmed it was a byob but a corking fee was not mentioned. When we arrived we noticed we didn't need a reservation because nobody else was dining there on a Saturday night. It appears they do more take-out business that night. We ordered the beehive pizza which was very good and a generous size for the large. I believe the menu listed it for $20. The bill charged us $21. no biggie. We also ordered the caesar salad which was very below average for $13.50 and the fried calamari was average at best. Most of it was fried batter that. crumbled. The ambiance was very nice which looked like it went through a recent renovation but the music was extremely loud which made the dining experience more difficult to enjoy. If it was my place I would lower the volume and play italian music or a classic like Frank Sinatra but thats just my personal idea. If they are going for a classier feel thaat would certainly help with the dining experience.The service was good. The server Lawrence was very polite and made sure to ask if we needed anything. We didn't realize the corking fee of $10.00!! until we looked at the receipt after we got home. Considering our bottle of wine cost us much less we were definitely not happy with the a corking fee. The name Roman Inn brings me back to my childhood when we used to walk down Hudson Ave for a slice of pizza and fountain soda. Let me tell you ... this is not the Roman Inn you once knew. They went through a MASSIVE renovation but the food is more amazing than I remember. We hosted a graduation party there a few days ago. They closed the restaurant for my group of 35 and we had an amazing gastronomic experience. We started with wings (2 types), ceviche, pizza, and salad. The servings were huge and our guests enjoyed every bit of the finger-licking wings. That would have been enough to hold us but the main course came out and we feasted on salmon, roasted chicken and veggies. Thank you John and team for the AMAZING service and cuisine. Tried here for the first time, got delivery. I ordered the meatball supreme pizza and added olives. I was a little thrown off when it arrived with whole green olives. The pizza itself was honestly just not good. Kinda flavorless, even the meatballs were lackluster. They also forgot to add the fresh basil, which is one of the two ingredients listed "with ricotta and fresh basil". I will say the crust was good. Overall, unfortunately, I was underwhelmed. I finished my pizza craving pizza. I've had far better white pizza from many places. Based on other reviews, would maybe give them another try down the road. Came here on 6/12/22. First off, the service was really bad. Seems like it takes forever to make a sandwich. I ordered 2 Roman inn , the Jackie, and American chicken. The Jackie was a salt bomb which almost killed me. It was literally inedible. I felt like my body took a hit from eating the Jackie (saltiest chicken I've ever tried in my life). The two original Roman inn sandwich was subpar. It costs 2x denaro's sandwich and it tastes half as good. The bread was soggy as hell. Nasty. American chicken was edible and somewhat ok. I will never go to this place as it is not good as others praise. Trust me, IT IS NOT GOOD AT ALL AND IT'S SO EXPENSIVE. read more
