Went in for a brake fluid leak and they fixed it up. Final cost was a bit cheaper than the estimate too. 4/5 stars because the time estimate kept getting pushed back. However when you go there you can see they are very busy so I don't fault them too much for this. Just don't expect them to look at your car immediately if they tell you to bring it in. read more

Not a trustworthy business to work with. A few months back they damaged a car in their lot waiting for repairs and then claimed the car was left with them in that condition. They then offered a referral to a "friend" that did body work. I'd suggest other local options for car repairs. read more

Went to Jackson's to get a second opinion on whether my car really need to have work done on the head gasket as I was told by the car dealer. I waited a little while as they were busy, but they got my car in as soon as they could and very quickly told me that they did not see anything that needed fixing. I was impressed by their honesty--and they didn't even charge me for looking at it! If I do need service or an inspection in the future, I'm going back. read more

I came in here once for an inspection. The entire staff was sitting in the waiting room eating donuts. I waited outside for 15 min until they were done. I don't mind waiting, but I thought it was strange that the staff takes breaks where the customers usually sit and wait. My car failed inspection...I brought it elsewhere for a second opinion and I passed. Won't be back Jackson's! And I won't be recommending you either. I go to Crawford's in Bradley now. They are great. Go there instead. read more

Jackson's has been a pleasure to deal with for about ten years now. I've had all the work needed on 3 vehicles done here, always for reasonable prices and in a timely manner. Joe, the manager, is always a friendly face and truly cares about the customer's experience. He has been very accommodating when I have been short on time. Even though I'm currently living about 2 hours away, I wait until I'll be near Old Town to have any work done on my car (when I can). I also have friends that drive from several towns away to have their cars worked on at Jackson's. Customer loyalty runs rampant at this small, locally owned business. read more

They have always been incredibly accomodating and provided me with expert service and solid advice. Bottom line - I trust them with my car, my wife's car and the cars of my two children. I went here for an inspection. Got my car back just to find out they changed my oil. Which I didnt ask for. They used conventional motor oil. Which I have never once used. I always use Synthetic. I didnt even need an oil change yet they took it upon themselves to do it and charge me for something I would have never used. I am not impressed to say the least. Wont be going back here. And I would not recomend it to anyone else.!! read more

Shopped around locally for a new bumper replacement. Jackson's came in at half the price for the highest quote and $300 cheaper than the lowest quote. The work was done promptly. The new bumper is perfect and Jackson's stayed true to their estimate within pennies. Friendly, quick service, and great auto work. We will be back to support this local business. read more

Took my car for an inspection and was told I needed one thing to pass. Then I ask them to do that one thing and they fixed other issues (which I could have easily fixed myself) and charged me for them. An untrustworthy and sketchy establishment. There are many more options for auto repair shops in town. Go literally anywhere else. Man behind the desk was rude and threatened to "tear off my inspection sticker" when I casually inquired as to the extra charges. Unprofessional and untrustworthy, two traits you definitely want to avoid when seeking out an auto repair shop. read more
