Customer service is terrible. I bought a large planter and asked for delivery. The sales person told me he and his nephew would deliver it. I called for 4 days trying to get it delivered and was never able to speak to them. The store doesn't answer the phone. It rings and rings and finally goes to voicemail which is full. After trying to call for 4 days to get my planter (which cost almost $600) I finally got someone and just cancelled my order. I would think if a customer pays almost $600 for a flower pot, that you could at least get it delivered. Furthermore, your curt and unprofessional employees need to learn better customer service skills, phone etiquette and basic manners. read more

Spent over $5000 in items and expected them within 6 weeks. After 8 weeks I called daily and could not get anyone to return my calls. Turns out, they've been in stock for the last month, no one bothered to let me know. "It will be awhile before we can deliver it." Although they may have a great selection, their customer service is truly lacking. read more

Absolutely the most beautiful store with the absolutely worst service EVER. We bought a water fountain, some bonehead delivered it and set it up in the dark . . . and after 3 attempts it didn't work, (it was dark the 3 additional times he came out and used his cell for a flashlight) so we put a stop pay on the fountain. This place is hidden behind a decorative security fence and many large trees and bushes. If you didn't know it was there, you'd pass by it on the street and think it was likely a house or some sort of housing facility. Walk through the gate and it's a different site. Lots a flowers, trees, bushes, as well a plethora of landscaping and outdoor decorating items and furniture. The outside are a large. The area inside the building is even bigger, turn a corner and it just keeps on going! There is a separate greenhouse area that houses the houseplants. Most are the same items we see elsewhere, but that may be because of the time of year. The outside pants, they had handful that we hadn't seen elsewhere. They had lots of trees, water feature items, patio furniture, the list goes on. Great place, staff was really nice. Defiantly a place we will visit again. read more

We love Jackson's. They have a great selection of plants, mulches, soil enhancers, and then everything that you can imagine for grilling. The people there are very friendly. Super helpful if you have questions. I bought a grill there and I am very satisfied. They also have hundreds of unique items for the home, many of which are seasonal. We love going there on a regular basis to see what has changed and what new items they have to offer. Many of the home décor elements are very unique and artistic in nature. read more

The best garden shop in Dallas They have plants, flowers, outdoor furniture, nick naks , pottery .... And more. I bought a few tomato plants from them earlier this year. They are healthy, full of fruit and still growing. Can't say that for past purchse at big box stores. Appreciate the cardboard for my car so dirt doesn't get all over. read more

The customer service here is amazing. We went in looking for a Fountain and found the perfect pot, the gentleman helped us purchase the items we needed, gave us directions and they did the plumbing on it for us. It was easy to install and we love it! It's a nice feature to our yard. They also have a great gift shop, small and large pots, indoor & outdoor plants and all types of grills and outdoor furniture. I only visited the Greenhouse section of the store. Not a huge area, but plenty to keep me circling around checking out all the houseplants two and three times over. There were quite a few small cacti to choose from and some nice, large BOP's and FLF's. I found a couple of planters as well, as that was my primary goal of the day. Also purchased an interesting Sansevieria Fernwood Mikado. I went on a weekend day, so it was a little challenging to find someone to assist me since they were busy, but nothing to keep from coming back. I'll stop by again when weather warms back up and I start buying plants again. read more

I have shopped at Jackson Nursery for decades. I was willing to pay the higher prices, because of the customer service. After this experience, I will never shop with them again. I bought a new Christmas tree from Jackson's that has a partial section of lights that does not work. It is a brand new tree that has never been taken out of the box and costs around $1,000. I have 30 guests coming in ten days and Cat, the manager over Christmas, told me that Jackson's does not support returns or helps with faulty Christmas trees. She stated that I had to contact the manufacturer. I called the 1-800 number for the manufacturer which went to a personal voice mail. I called Jackson's again and told them the number goes to a personal voice mail. Cat's answer was to leave a voice mail and wait for them to call me back. After some discussion, she gave me another number to call. This really incites me in that I spent around $1,000 for a new product that absolutely is faulty and Jackson's has zero accountability and expects me to take off work, take the tree apart, drive it to the manufacturer or mail it to them. After talking to the manufacturer, they explained they are not taking in trees needing repair until January. Once again, Jackson's did not care and told me to follow the procedures provided by the manufacturer. This means that my Christmas will be either with no tree, or a faulty one. Unbelievable! The saying of 'Let the Buyer Beware' is 100% correct regarding Jackson Nursery. read more

I came here for plants. Little did I know that I would spend over 2 hours looking at plants, aromatherapy, candles, grills, furniture and various trinkets. Everyone is wonderful, friendly and always willing to help or answer a question. This place is huge!! They have a second floor that has a huge selection of patio furniture and some artificial flowers. For all your plates, spoons and china this is the place to be. They also have a pretty good selection of Sid Dickens tiles if your a collector. The only downside is a lot of items are extremely expensive. Any plants you buy will cost more here than almost anywhere, especially if you shop for plants often. I will say that the markdowns on plants were very good and the way in which they take care of their plants and the plants health is very good compared to competitors. With that said everything else is priced high and it may be because of the location or the particular clientele they have. I will certainly be back. I had an awesome 2 1/2 hour experience. read more

Place is beautiful and the products are great. However, I specifically went to look at fountains and thought my eyesight had gone bad when looking at the price tags. I had to do several double takes to make sure I wasn't reading extra numbers. Then I decided to look at patio furniture upstairs just for sh*ts and giggles and thought I had a mini stroke reading the tags. I had just bought a set so I know the pricing both low and high and WOW they must just randomly throw numbers out like scrabble pieces and then charge that. Being from the area I expected prices to be high by not THAT high. I was also in the store for well over 30 minutes and no one asked me if I needed any help. I had to hunt down a guy about a fountain just to be given a price that was about 2k more than it should have been and for what other fountains of the same size and quality are going for online. The selection was way better than any other store in town for fountains by far that I've found but geez, not worth the price by any means in my opinion. read more

My family has been shopping here for 30 years and always loved it until today. We bought two of the same plants this past weekend and one just started drooping so fast I brought it in this morning to ask what is wrong with this one. The very kind girl behind your register called a lady from the garden area. I only asked what is wrong with it which she told me I'm not taking care of it and it has not been watered very rudely. I confirmed with my partner he had watered it and she tells me NO REFUND. I never even mentioned or asked for a refund. She needs to learn how to speak to customers better. Thank you to your always polite employees that work behind the registers. They have always been good to my family over the years but I will not return to a place that speaks so rude to me. read more

Jackson's is truly a one-stop shop for gifts and gardening! I took care of last year's Christmas presents at Jackson's, and they were a hit! The salsas, the apple butter, the candles, and the home gifts -- it's hard not to shop for myself too! The staff at Jackson's are attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful. When I have questions about plant care, the greenhouse staff are very helpful. Whenever I'm shopping around the indoor section of the store, I'm consistently asked if I need help with anything. Went in to buy a small gift. The young woman in the plant Department gave me excellent advice and even wrote it down for me. Disappointed that several employees were not following the guidelines as far as masking, inside the air conditioned store on an 80 degree day. One of the managers was walking around the store with no mask on at tall. 2 other employees were using their masks as a chin guard. When I mentioned to one that his face was uncovered he pulled it up but then five minutes later his face is uncovered again. I want to support small business during this pandemic but not worth the risk at this place. read more

Wonderful selection of plants! I came here tonight for small succulents for my desk at work. A woman named Laura was super knowledgeable and gave great suggestions. She also was able to answer all my questions. They also had a silk flower selection as I'm looking for an indoor plant for next to our couch and they had a pretty good selection. The Place is in the Dark Ages when it comes to Customer Service. Ordered my Brown Jordan furniture on April 19th, 2019. Was assured it would be here in 5 weeks. After Memorial Day, Jackson's never called me. In week 8, called to find out what was going on. Jackson's did not know where the furniture was. Actually, told me the freight company had lost the patio furniture. Even worse, Jackson's had no idea where it was. Half the summer was gone and I had no beautiful outdoor furniture. Would have been better off to go to Big Box Store (Lowe's) where one's furniture is tracked in real time. Long story short, no tracking of order, no thanks for patronage, no communication and very expensive. Finally, I just told the I did not want the furniture and demanded a refund. Was a first and last customer simultaneously. read more
