From the booking to the test makeup session to the wedding day, Marge is a consummate professional. She makes everyone FEEL and look BEAUTIFUL and when you sit down in her chair, you just want to soak up the love she has for you, your skin, your face and your individual beauty. Wedding days are pretty stressful but Marge's energy adds to the relaxed fun and excitement of getting glammed up with your besties on their very important day. I'm not much of a makeup person but realized that the fluorescent lighting at the 9-to-5 cubicle farm was making me look like a zombie. Think Michael Jackson's "Thriller". Since I looked so frickin good at the wedding, I contacted Marge afterwards and signed up for her class because clearly I've been applying makeup the wrong way for so many years. I brought my bag of underused cosmetics and tools for us to review and improve upon together. Marge helped me develop the 7 minute "naturally-enhanced" daytime look that I've been struggling to create for work. With Marge's assistance, we weeded out some old and sucky products and used my curated collection alongside with makeup from her personal kit to practice on my face. Marge was great about providing notes on application and product selection. I learned how to use my brushes correctly and that I should embrace the joys of bright blushes. ::blushes:: I did the 30 days, 30 looks challenge where I texted Marge the face of the day and she was really supportive throughout it all. I'm really glad I opted to take her class! I now know how to enhance daily looks with ease, affordably and I definitely feel more confident in my makeup skills. For my first look- I was going to a dodger game and decided i wanted to do something a little more bold than I'd normally do-- I asked for blue eyeshadow! I was a little nervous on how it would come out because I'd never done anything besides put a little eyeliner and mascara on. The look was AMAZING! I loved it, my daughter loved it, my husband loved it! The dodger game started at 5 and we got there around 4, the day was really hot and I was so worried my makeup would come off, the game didn't end until close to midnight!
