My overall experience was great. I enjoyed the car show.. All the times I have been to the Javits center is has been very clean. The only downside would be how pricey the food is. There are designated seating areas to eat or just take a break.

Huge is an understatement. I was here for the Be Well Beauty & Wellness Show. There were multiple other conventions going on at the same time...and I know this because not only did I get into the wrong line once, but twice. You see lines for badge pickup and don't event think that oh hey there might be other things going on. Whoop. Very spacious, comfortable temperature. Seemed to have a nice variety of foods to purchase...I didn't purchase any so not sure how the pricing is, but if it's like any other convention center they must charge a pretty penny. Fairly convenient location, easy to get to.

Ah, the yearly NY Auto show! This is a long, overdue review but gotta love the classic auto show. Always nice to see the latest trends in the auto industry. Highly recommend going on a weekday to avoid the crowds and getting that ideal picture alone with all the hot car trends of the year! Javits Canter overall is a wonderful venue. Walking distance from both Penn station and Port Authority.

I visited the convention center for the first time ever for the NY Auto Show and had a blast. Even with a ton of people milling about the last weekend of the show, the center was organized, clean, and I never felt like it was overcrowded. The layout was easily navigable with tons to see, so it made the show that much more enjoyable. The facilities were also very clean, something that can be appreciated while out and about in NYC. The size of the building was smaller than I imagined, but accommodated all the cars, displays, and driving courses so well. I'll definitely return if another con comes through that I want to attend.

Came here for the New York Auto show, great experience. Very easy to enter and the security line was a breeze. The kids in my family loved seeing the cars and going inside of them to see the new features

What an amazing facility. This is the first time I had the opportunity to do a job up here and this convention center is massive. What's really intriguing is the entryway is all glass . There are plenty of places to sit and relax plenty of places to grab some food, but beware of the high cost . From reading an information sign inside of the convention center. The roof is home to many different species of birds and animals it says. The staff that I have worked with and encountered, were all professional and friendly and extremely helpful . They do have a Starbucks inside this facility and you are not able to use your Starbucks points for purchases, but you can get points . Just a recommendation if you're gonna grab lunch, you're better off walking out of the front of the building and go up 37th St. to one block on the left and the right are various places to eat at a fraction of the cost .

We bought tickets online for the New York Auto Show. The closest train to the Jacob Javits Convention would be the 7 train. We took the car and paid close to 65 dollars for an oversized vehicle. I used Spot Hero app to reserve a parking spot. In the showroom, all the cars were beautifully displayed. Just be aware not all the car manufacturers were there. The ones missing were Buick, Mazda, Honda and Cadillac. Although Cadillac were displaying the rides on the lower level in the Hybrid/EV Test track. We took about 4 hours to complete the show and try some of the cars on the EV Test track. If you are a car enthusiast or thinking about buying a vehicle, you should definitely attend this show.

A great convention center that has multiple levels. There's quite a few awesome exhibits that occupy here, and it's always a fun time. In the past I would often go with my father to the car shows held here. Most recently I went to a boat show, and it was great as well. The space is large and allows the exhibits to be spread out and not cramped. Highly recommend a visit (during an exhibit / show).

There is a huge convention center and they are doing the pre 2025 marathon check-in here. The staff is incredibly friendly unhelpful! It's easy to find your badge. My daughter is running the marathon so I'm here supporting her, I love the merchandising for new balance!

    Conference set up

I feel like they've updated this space a few times. The last time I was here, probably a decade ago for the car show... and recently back for a conference. It's a lot more cleaner, including the restrooms. There's more vendors, while they were closed during the conference... Starbucks in the lower level was open and offers plenty of seatings. The space feels sleeker too. The conference was held at the Crystal Palace space... the concessions offer was... blah. Food option was disappointing. I grabbed some packaged turkey sandwich and it was not good... wish they offered better food options... the catered coffee provided was decent. However - they RAN out of water. HOW is that possible??! Poor logistics management. So you are 1) forced to buy bottled water, or 2) buy some soda... OR 3) ghetto it out - use the hot water they provided and let it cool off. Luckily during lunch, I left this building and went to Hudson Yard for lunch and got a drink. If your business is to cater to a conference with over 100-200 attendees, then you've failed miserably. I would not opt to host anything here if they are that unorganized. Pro - great for big events, next to Hudson Yard Con - hard to get to, all the way to the west end side of 34th street, unless you're by a 7 train; food is limited

It was really cool seeing so many more people in cosplay! it was a smooth process to get inside & the restrooms were clean, the directory was useful, definitely had a good time here!

Came here for the B&H photo expo, and was not disappointed! Truly an incredible space with lots of natural light and a real gem of the city.

Was here for a Salesforce conference, and while the security and entry/badging and display areas were all more than amply large enough, there was still a lot of space to traverse and the bathrooms were a bit broken down and crowded and dirty... at least the room upstairs were in much better shape for the mini exec presentations and tool demos.

I didn't bring in a Polaroid camera but used my iPhone all day and took pictures. No one stopped me or had any problems with me taking them. U can call the Javits and double check.

Held at the beautiful rooftop garden at Rockefeller Center overlooking St. Patrick's Cathedral, the setting alone was worth the trip. As the sun set behind the Manhattan skyline, guests were treated to an evening that felt equal parts whiskey education, culinary experience, and celebration of American craftsmanship. The WhistlePig team put together an outstanding lineup of cocktails and rare whiskey pours, each thoughtfully paired with a multi-course dinner. Every course felt intentional, from the beautifully presented appetizers and seasonal produce to the perfectly cooked beef course and creative dessert finale. The food wasn't just an accompaniment to the whiskey it stood on its own. One of the highlights of the evening was host Max Miller of Tasting History. His storytelling added depth and context to each pour, connecting American history, whiskey culture, and the culinary experience in a way that kept the entire table engaged. What impressed me most was the attention to detail. The tablescape, service, pacing, glassware, cocktail program, and overall guest experience were executed flawlessly. Nothing felt rushed, and every element contributed to the story of the evening. WhistlePig continues to prove why they are one of the most innovative names in American whiskey. This wasn't simply a tasting event it was an immersive experience that celebrated history, hospitality, and craftsmanship at the highest level. If WhistlePig hosts another dinner like this, don't hesitate. Buy the ticket. -- Jeffrey Umaña @jeffrey.umana

Yes, the views are amazing, however the weather has to be just perfect. Especially if you plan to use the outdoor patio. Which, why wouldn't you? The space itself is not for large groups, wedding party size approximately 50. Plus the wait, bar & other service staff. The location is prime, if you plan to take a car, remember this is NYC & traffic is bad. You can probably walk faster than a cab or car service. Especially during the month of December. NYC gets more visitors in December than all year long. The venue has 2 bathrooms for women which is not good, however worked for this crowd. Think of this location as a once in a lifetime, only if you have the funds for this location. As guests we were thrilled to be invited to such a lavish wedding!

Why, stop by the Holiday Home of course!! Held in a historical mansion on the Upper East Side of New York City, come prepared to be inspired and enchanted as you walk through the house, each room designed by a different interior designer, to a different holiday theme (think, New Year's Eve, St Pattys, Christmas etc) or special moment in life. Every single room here is SO gorgeous, with furniture from some of the most luxurious brands in the world. As I walked through the rooms, I imagined what it would be like to live in a house like this, a life of luxury, with cocktails at 3 and constant dinner parties. And if you're one of the lucky few who can actually afford to live in a house like this, then the Holiday Home would serve as a life sized inspiration board for you... You get a catalog at the entrance and it serves as a reference to any piece of furniture displayed in the house. The designers themselves are also there in their respective rooms and are more than happy to talk to you about their work / offer to come design your house (if that's what you're looking for). It is a $35 entrance fee that goes towards the Breast Cancer Foundation, though, even if it didn't, so worth it getting to spend an afternoon in the shoes of an Upper East Sider. Lastly, everyone's so incredibly nice (you'd expect them to be snooty but there are absolutely no airs here), though, I would dress nice and perhaps not show up in sweats if I was gonna go. Haha. There is also an adorable little heated courtyard cafe that serves up ready made sandwiches, teas and (not so yummy) macaroons. But very nice and pretty to sit at. All in all, one of my favorite things we did in New York this past trip! Perfect for getting into the holiday mood (:

From the doormen to checking in / picking up your coat and wait staff who notice details - all adding up to a grand experience. Food isn't the best but it's good. The most negative aspect is the location 42nd Street has become so crowded and traffic patterns can't be predicted. However, public transportation is right across the street - Grand Central, you have the subway and MetroNorth and walk 15min west to Port Authority. Otherwise I suggest a cab to the area to avoid the guaranteed over priced parking garages. For the restaurant area on - head over next door for grand treatment as well.

They didn't cheap out on the furniture either. The seats were comfortable and the flatware was very nice, with the Cipriani logo along the top of the plates. The food was excellent. This is usually where almost all banquet halls breakdown somewhere. Whether it is pasta, sides, meat or fish, something just doesn't work. Not the case here, as you would expect from Cipriani. The food was excellent across the board. The pastas, vegetables, potatoes and the meat were excellent. The beef was exceptional for banquet-style dining. Desserts were very good, too. On top of all of this, their staff was swarming around, clearing plates, offering to refill waters, keeping the place clean, etc. - they were very attentive. Cipriani really did an excellent job running our holiday party. I highly recommend them.
