Held at the beautiful rooftop garden at Rockefeller Center overlooking St. Patrick's Cathedral, the setting alone was worth the trip. As the sun set behind the Manhattan skyline, guests were treated to an evening that felt equal parts whiskey education, culinary experience, and celebration of American craftsmanship. The WhistlePig team put together an outstanding lineup of cocktails and rare whiskey pours, each thoughtfully paired with a multi-course dinner. Every course felt intentional, from the beautifully presented appetizers and seasonal produce to the perfectly cooked beef course and creative dessert finale. The food wasn't just an accompaniment to the whiskey it stood on its own. One of the highlights of the evening was host Max Miller of Tasting History. His storytelling added depth and context to each pour, connecting American history, whiskey culture, and the culinary experience in a way that kept the entire table engaged. What impressed me most was the attention to detail. The tablescape, service, pacing, glassware, cocktail program, and overall guest experience were executed flawlessly. Yes, the views are amazing, however the weather has to be just perfect. Especially if you plan to use the outdoor patio. Which, why wouldn't you? The space itself is not for large groups, wedding party size approximately 50. Plus the wait, bar & other service staff. The location is prime, if you plan to take a car, remember this is NYC & traffic is bad. You can probably walk faster than a cab or car service. Especially during the month of December. NYC gets more visitors in December than all year long. The venue has 2 bathrooms for women which is not good, however worked for this crowd. Think of this location as a once in a lifetime, only if you have the funds for this location. As guests we were thrilled to be invited to such a lavish wedding!

The new large screen for the FIFA games has really added something special. Seeing people gathered together watching Switzerland play Colombia, cheering for their teams and enjoying the excitement of the game, made the whole place feel alive. I also noticed the new games and activities for both children and adults, which is such a nice touch. It makes the Winter Garden feel even more welcoming and gives families, friends, and visitors another reason to spend time there. What I love most about this place is how it changes with every event and season. The beautiful palm trees create such a unique atmosphere, and I've enjoyed coming here for The Nutcracker during the holidays, the Lunar New Year celebrations, and many times simply to relax and spend time with family and friends. Every visit feels different. The surrounding area makes it even better. Having places like Le District nearby, along with cafés and shops offering crêpes, ice cream, coffee, and pastries, makes it easy to stay and enjoy the experience. The mix of restaurants, cafés, and stores, including luxury shops like Louis Vuitton, adds to the feeling that there is always something new to discover. A big thank you to the staff and everyone who works behind the scenes to make these experiences happen. Their effort is what helps create such a welcoming place where people can come together. The Winter Garden in my opinion is more than just a beautiful space. It's a place where people make memories, whether they are visiting from around the world or simply stopping by after work.

What sold us was the suite layout, a proper separate living room with a sofa bed for the kids, a kitchenette for keeping drinks cold, and a king bedroom that felt genuinely spacious rather than the usual cramped Manhattan hotel room. The antique-inspired furnishings gave the whole place a bit of personality too, not just another generic modern box. We were lucky enough to get a room with a balcony, which is basically unheard of for a hotel in this part of the city, and sitting out there with the skyline in front of you is a proper treat. Location-wise you can't do much better, a short walk and you're right in the middle of Times Square. Staff were great throughout our stay too. Would happily book again.

They recently added three floors what they called Time Travel experience to learn more about Time Square history. One star less for my review because our scheduled time is 4 pm but did not let us go upstairs until like 4:30 as we waited for the other groups which I believe passed by the candy shop first. There is a suspense feeling in holding us up in the 3 immersive floors before reaching the top observatory. I love the idea of surprising us with ticker tapes when we walked in, like we are in the New Year's Eve drop zone. Also love the idea of us writing our wish to tape/s and shoot in a big glass room that will be included to what would be dropped this coming Dec 31st . The best part of these immersive floors for me is seeing the on going 2027 crystal ball on last floor before going to the deck. We placed our marks all over to this beautiful ball as if it will bring us to coming New Year's Eve midnight excitement. Then on top deck. The building is in the crossroads of 42nd st / Broadway. It was so nice to see different views from the 19 th floor of the building. Have I told you that outside elevator that brought us here is a glass door? That there is one side if this observation deck that walkway is glass floor and literally could see people down there of Broadway? Staff here is very nice as it assists everyone that would like to get a great photo shot or support/ walkby /give courage to people who wants to try the glass floor walkway free of charge. Definitely a great place to visit. Pricing is better in comparison to other observation decks. Come visit while it is still not crowded and experience the great view from above.

This is the main convention center in New York City. I have been here several times for New York…read moreComic Con and New York Marathon events. It is very large center with many rooms. If anyone else has been here for Comic Con you know how spread out it is and how many people can fit here. It is much easier to get to now with the seven train connecting to midtown. Before you had to get off at the one train and walk all the way which was a pain. It is connected to the building next door which has five floors of available space. All the rooms were booked with meetings and performances. I love the large space to walk around and enjoy the conventions. The only downside is the food prices here. It costs around $20 for a sandwich and $5 for a coffee. It is unfortunate but you have to pay the high prices in order to eat. Otherwise you have to go out and walk around to find a nearby restaurant which defeats the purpose to begin at the convention.
