We have gone several times to get my 3 year old son's hair cut here. Always syper nuce and understanding. My son cries bloody murder and will not sit still. They are patient and try to do the best quality they can under the rough circumstances of a flailing, screaming toddler. However, today Arnold cut my son's hair. He wipes his tears before he started and asked if he was strong and brave and show him his muacles. He kept my son engaged the entire time and for the first time every he not only sat still but he didn't cry. Jacobs Barber Shop is one of the best barber shop, if not the best barber shop in town. I have been a continuous customer of Jacobs Barber shop basically my whole life and I will not get my haircut anywhere else. Even before Jacob was at the Bellmore location I still got my haircuts from him a very long time ago and still go to him today. Jacob and his whole staff are great and caring people. Haven't had a haircut in a while and decided to stop in because it's in the neighborhood and the reviews were good. Sat down with the Russian guy and gave him a few words on what I wanted which was different than the usual flat top, long sliced back on top, shorter on the side and back. Before of could finish speaking he started cutting. At first i thought OMG he's going o cut it all off. I've been going to Jacob's for 10+ years and have always been more than satisfied with my haircut and experience there. Recently I've been getting my haircut done by Arnold, who does a great job and pays very close attention to detail. In other barber shops, I have felt the barbers rush and just try to get it does ASAP to get to the next customer. I have never felt this way going to Jacob's. The best barbershop in Bellmore!!! Was new in town and heard about it from a friend. The hair stylists are friendly and very professional. The place is clean like a dentist office. They are child friendly and very patient. I brought my 2yr. old son who is terrified of haircuts, and Jacob the owner gave him a beautiful haircut in their kids corner( which consists of a car chair, kids t.v.etc..) Our son doesn't love the buzzing noise, but Jacob was amazing with him and gave an amazing haircut as well. great experience but you pay for it greatly. paid 32 dollars for a buzz, with some scissors as well as a facial shave...definetly would go back for the haircut though... maybe i can do without the shave which I'm assuming made it that much more $$. all in all though, i would recommend this place to anyone. great couple of guys, always keep you talking. read more

I always leave Jacob's barbershop feeling relaxed and refreshed, especially after their famous hot towel and massage. I personally go see Jacob for a haircut. The barbers there always do a great job with my sons haircuts as well. Not to mention the toy car barber chair for the kids makes everything so much easier. I have been going to Jacobs for years and I can't say enough good things about them. I have a lot less hair than when I started, but the haircuts are always first-rate.
