He shared that he can absolutely help and even better, with Invisalign which I didn't think was possible. He guaranteed a success rate of maybe 50-70% better than it currently is. That was more than I ever expected. In my opinion, his success rate was greater! Probably 85% better than it was and I just love my bite today. Love my smile. I have referred many to them since. Definitely choose The Hills, I am glad that I did. The office is clean, the staff is friendly, and they are great at follow up. I was told 2.5-3 years, and was completed in about 1.5 years.

It took about 2 hours from start to finish but this included checking in, a full set of X-rays/CT scan, exam, going through finances and setting up appointments, so it makes sense. Pre-visit: Front staff had me fill out all my info online before the visit, so checking in was a breeze. Exam: Dr. Nguyen was as professional and knowledgeable as they come but also very personable. His explanations were thorough, clear and concise. He constantly made sure I understood everything and that we were on the same page. I noticed he didn't wear a white coat like the other providers around which actually made the exam feel more casual and easy. (Cool tattoos btw!) Staff/finance: the front desk staff and assistants were very friendly and accommodating; making sure I was comfortable and even offered water without me asking. The financial lady (Carolina/Caroline?) was very sweet and patient. She made sure I understood everything regarding my insurance and costs. **Cons: the office is in a large plaza so parking in front can be a bit difficult. It was a little busy and apparently one of the xray rooms was broken so there can be a bit of a wait since even my full set of xrays took some time to complete which is understandable. Only to have her reach out and tell me it didn't go through and she will not send the xrays for review and canceled my son's appointment. There was several emails back and forth regarding the payment issue. The CC company states its on her end since she claims to not see it. I asked her to send me the invoice again so I can pay her (again!) and she refused. Refused to help me clear up the pricing issue and refuses to proceed with treatment for my son. According to her its taking too much of her time. Incredibly disappointing. Save yourself the headache.

I felt depressed, frustrated, and full of regret about the treatment decisions I had made. My previous orthodontic experience left me feeling discouraged and hopeless. Communication was poor, appointments felt rushed, and I often felt like my concerns weren't being heard. By the end, I was so uncomfortable going back that I didn't even return to have my braces removed. Dr. Bakar ended up removing them and helping me start over. Finding Dr. Bakar was a complete turning point. From the first consultation, he listened. He took the time to hear my concerns, explain what had happened, and walk me through my options. Every visit since then has been the same. He is patient, understanding, easy to talk to, and never makes me feel rushed. If I have a question, he answers it. If I have a concern, he listens.
