She is warm, knowledgeable, and has a calming sense about her that puts kids at ease. My son sees Dr. Ben who is friendly, always has fun shoes or socks, and is good at distracting kids while he is working. Half the time my son is surprised to hear that he is already done. The front office team is friendly and on top of it. My kids have liked all the dental hygienists they have had. The office is welcoming with toys, educational computer games and has bright and colorful designs. Every time we go there it's always impeccably clean. My kids really like the reward system they have in place there. If they have a good cleaning/appointment they are given 2 tokens. They can use those 2 tokens for a balloon or any of the prize machines (which are located in the lobby). I highly recommend this pediatric dental office. The staff is fantastic, the care is wonderful, and my kids aren't afraid or dread going to the dentist since going here. Big Tooth Little Tooth is a gem and I am so thankful they are our kids's dentists.

Dr. Pham built rapport with my son in the lobby before heading back to the clinical side. He and the hygienist did such a great job helping my typically anxious son feel comfortable during our visit and gave us good advice on working towards better oral hygiene at home in addition to x-rays showing us how many more teeth he will lose and figurines to demonstrate cavities.

I came to The Kid's Dentist because of a bad experience with my child's previous dentist. Dr. Yip determined that my child needed a tooth extracted along with some fillings and crowns. It was very overwhelming, the amount of work that needed to be done on such a young child, but Dr. Yip took the time to explain the reasoning behind the treatments and our options on how to proceed. One of the options was the use of general anesthesia and complete the treatment in one sitting while my child was sedated. At first, the use of general anesthesia on such a young child made me nervous. But, Dr. Yip took the time to explain that the risks were minimal and that the ability to get the treatment done in one sitting instead of a possible four would save my child from the "traumatic" experience of multiple trips, shots, and drilling. The entire process only took a few hours and my child recovered quickly. Dr. Yip even followed up with us, after hours, just to check on my child's recovery. The best part... my child still likes going to the dentist and isn't afraid to go see Dr. Yip. The use of general anesthesia was well worth it and I would recommend any parent to strongly consider it as an option for their child's treatment. I highly recommend The Kid's Dentist. Dr. Yip and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything was taken care of, from start to finish. They truly care about their patients.

After using this dentist since moving to Wilsonville for our kids, we'll never be back. My youngest…read moreis on the autism spectrum and so anything that is new or invasive is very challenging for him. On top of that, he has general texture issues. Given his challenges related to his autism, a dentist visit is usually him grinning and bearing it with strangers in his mouth. Which it is for most kids, but exacerbated by his disability. The dentist is well aware of his disability. Today we took him in for a routine cleaning and exam and learned that he'll need a few fillings. The dental hygienist was completely insensitive to his needs and generally seemed frustrated she had to deal with our son. He wasn't throwing a fit. He was tearing up because he was uncomfortable and the X-ray mouthpiece hurt and that when she was flossing him, she was being rough. Then, when the dentist delivered the results that he needed fillings, he did so in a way where he made it clear he did not want to maintain us as customers. Instead of saying "we don't feel like we can provide the level of care we believe your son needs, were referring you to the children's hospital...", he said he was not willing to provide the service so here's a referral. Understand, we're the first people to admit when our kids are being turds, because we don't want them to be a burden on anyone else. With that said, our son was a trooper today given how his autism can manifest in similar situations. The dentist and his staff acted in an insensitive manner and quite frankly not you expect from professionals dealing with a child with a disability. TL:DR- The dentist and his staff were rude and insensitive to our disabled child.

My children (ages 3yo and 20mos) had such a good time at the dentist, they didn't cry once!!! The office was decorated beautifully. It was almost like what you would see as a dream world for children. There was a train track wrapped around the office, on the walls. There is a doll house and pirate ship, in the middle of the waiting area, computers with kid-friendly games lining one wall, and a play kitchen along the back wall. My children automatically settled in which was a lifesaver for me, since I had to fill out the patient forms. Which you DON'T NEED to manually fill out anymore. They have fast patient check in which is all computer based! No more hand cramps!! :-) After checking in we were greeted by Dr. James' assistant. She brought us to the back where the kids got to pick out their toothbrushes. (Amazingly these weren't the cheap ones with the gold lettering on it... they were the same OralB ones that I buy at the store for my children.) We then took them to the dentist chair which was made perfect kid size by putting a little kids sofa chair on it. My toddler got to watch Cars on a monitor to help make him feel more comfortable. The staff amazed me with how patient and caring they were. They never once pushed either child to open their mouth or to do anything they weren't yet comfortable They would just try a different way, or move on to a different part of the exam and go back to that when they were ready. After their exams they got to take their "My First Dentist Visit" picture, which was printed off as a souvenir for me. Then the children were then led down the hall to the "prize room." They had wallets, bags, balls, stickers, coloring books, and many more cool toys. The kids each got to pick out a prize. The visit was amazing and I recommend them to everyone that is looking for a dentist for their children. You will NOT be disappointed!!
