They were originally referred to us by Security Fence...another great company. The latest project is a property survey and a drawing, required before applying for a fence permit in the City of Ramsey. We actually had the owner of M & P come out, Brennan Cox. He is a SUPER nice guy and very good at his job. He couldn't find one of our front corner markers. He worked until sunset, surveyed his way in from one of the section markers, and eventually placed a new marker post, accurate to within a centimeter--wow!!! I was originally irritated that I needed a survey for a fence. But as usual, there was a surprise with our survey. Our property marker is two feet from where we thought. We're super happy and our neighbor is bummed out--we now have an extra 200 square feet of property! Last but not least, M & P is about half the price of the other survey companies I've checked out. We contracted to them to survey and mark the boundaries of a property we purchased prior to…read moreapplying for a building permit. They went to the property and located 1 or 2 posts and did not mark anything. The reason they stated was that the septic was not located so they could not complete the project. We contracted to a septic designer and they went out and as the property lines were not located they had to use what appeared to be the boundary. When M&P went out to redo what they should have done in the first place the septic was to close to the boundary. The septic designer had to come back out for an additional charge and then M&P had to return to finish. For the return trips both companies charged additional $300.00. If they had done there job in the first place neither would have had to return. When asked about the fee's they would not return our e-mails or calls.

He DID come and do the work, but we had no idea he'd even been here until he sent us an invoice for $450 - TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS more than quoted. We will definitely NOT be using this provider again.
