Haven't been here in 20 years due to location (I live 30 mins away). My turkey sub was one of the best I ever had! Sooooo good! The owners of this place were amazing! They closed the restaurant down on a Saturday night so our group of 30 youth hockey players and families could have the place to ourselves! Anyone who's ever gone to dinner with 12 families knows it's not easy to keep everyone's orders straight but Jaco's handled it like pros. And the food was served quick, hot and really tasty. I ordered a cheese steak hoagie and it was one of the best I've ever had outside of Philly. If we ever find ourselves in Niagara Falls again we'd definitely come back. read more

I just ordered a large sub n fries. After a hour and a half I called back she said it was on the way. A hour later I called back n had to cancel the order.cause I'm waiting 2 hours n a half now for just simple food. When I cancelled cause I don't what cold food. Ok I know you don't go to a pizza place for a fish fry. But I had pizza already this week and wasn't in the mood for more. So while I am at work we order out to Jaco's and I ordered the everyday fish fry. I don't have to mention, that the fish at a pizza spot isn't the same as if you were at a fish market or a Pub. They are the commercial prebattered variety you can get at a restaurant or Sam club Depot. But I will say it was still crispy, especially since this was delivery. The fries I did not care for, even though they were also crispy. I just don't care for the fries that are coated, very similar to Burger King type of fries. Plus they we're to salty for my liking. Went in here tonight as we had a craving for wings. We were quickly greeted by this gorgeous server with a friendly smile and she brought our drinks out quickly, even though she was super busy. She was like superwoman taking care of all the customers and orders. We could not believe how many takeout orders there were at almost midnight--this place is popular! We ordered 30 wings cooked crispy in three flavors: honey-garlic, hot, and mild. It took them about 30 minutes to make them, probably due to all the takeout orders, but they were worth the wait. They were indeed crispy and the honey garlic tasted like they had real honey on them. The hot were hot, the Mild were just plain without any sauce. Lots of celery with blue cheese was provided. Our fantastic server checked in on us and promptly provided us with to-go containers and bags after were stuffed. We really enjoyed our late night snack and took a few wings home. We order here simply because their subs, wraps and fingers are great. Their prices and service are inconsistent. We order the same thing every time and the price varies anywhere from $25-$38 for two full subs. More often than not we are waiting on our food to be done. A couple minutes, ok... but when you are told 45 minutes and your waiting for nearly 20-30 minutes on top of that is ridiculous. Good food, not so great with constant prices and accurate times. Jaco's is super close to where I live, so naturally it's one of my easiest go-to spots. I'm kind of addicted to their chicken fingers. They're usually pretty big, meaty, and saucy. I like the bbq and medium the most. I've tried their pizza, wings, and subs, and they're okay. The staff is usually pretty friendly. The inside is kind of small, but cozy, and they have a full bar. It's definitely kind of your local hole in the wall (in a nice way) bar. The prices seem to fluctuate every time I order from there though, and I pretty much always order the same thing, so that's a bit frustrating. The chicken fingers are the best in the area though so I keep coming back. read more

The good - when we finally got our food after almost 2 hours, it tasted good. The bad - we ordered delivery while staying at a hotel about 4 miles from Jaco's. They said it was no problem. Ordered pizza/wings/chicken. After waiting an hour, I called to check on the order. The bartender told me the driver had "just left" and would be there within minutes, which to me didn't mean thirty-five minutes, but after waiting for that long I called back and asked about the order again. She said he was "close". I told her I wanted to cancel the order at this point and we would just find somewhere else to eat. She tried to tell me the driver was "close" again, and I told her I wanted to cancel the order but she refused to let me, she just kept saying the driver had other orders to deliver and talked louder than me until she was yelling at me. I hung up on her. The driver arrived minutes later, barely apologetic and told us he had been in the lobby for a bit, but couldn't call us because his phone wouldn't make long distance calls. Not sure why he couldn't have the front desk call us, we would have met him in the lobby. If you don't want to wait 2 hours, order from somewhere else. Rude service. read more

Been to many of the so called best pizza joints in buffalo , Niagara falls area , been to all the pizza joints recommended by Barstool founder Dave Portnoy aka The Prez on his ONE BITE app. But none of them compare to Jockos. The place is just a cool little neighborhood bar that makes some amazing food. Though pizza and wings are their specialty. They make a lot of other great offerings. I agree with a past reviewer that if I could rate this place a negative star I absolutely would. The sad part is that this is right across from the Four Points Sheraton in Niagara Falls and could potentially have awesome business but unless you employ staff with better customer service skills then you'll continue to receive awful reviews no matter how good your food might be. When my mom and I walked in, we made it clear that we were ordering to go. The server/bartender/host acknowledged and walked away without even giving us a menu and proceeded to pick up the ringing phone. After looking at the menu (the takeout menu stack by the window) for a few minutes we walked over to the bar where we waited patiently, aware of the fact that she was busy. She finished the payment over the phone, walked into the kitchen to grab wings for a table, walked back for pizza for another table, and came around the bar to fill a drink order, all while we waited to place our order. The phone rang again, she picked up. Another patron at the bar asked for a beer whenever she had a moment (knowing that we were waiting) and she grabbed him his beer and took his money, someone else ordered a shot and that was my last chance for her to come to us but as soon as she picked up the whisky bottle I grabbed my mom and slammed the menu down stating how ridiculous it was that everyone was served before us. She ignored us while everyone else stared and didn't seem phased at all. I was appalled and walked out. To be completely and purposely ignored after attempting to get help is probably one of the rudest things I've experienced to say the least. If she had simply expressed how busy she was and asked that we just wait a bit longer we would have understood but the blatant disrespect of serving others who ordered AFTER us just set me over the edge. We went and found another pizzaria down the road called "THE ORIGINAL VENTRYS PIZZA" and I'm glad we did because the wings were delicious! The pizza was average if you like thicker doughy pies but the service was much better. I ended up talking to the son outside and he was extremely pleasant! This post is not due to poor food, it's actually not bad. It's due to possibly the worst service I have ever had. A while back during winter season, my friend had a huge house fire and lost his kitchen and a large portion of his home. Let me mention he has a wife and 2 younger children. After the fire was out and they began to take care of the mess, I stopped in the restaurant ordered them a couple trays of pizza and a ton of wings and paid for it including a tip. I explained the situation to them and they were happy to take my money. Let's not forget it is pretty pricey for pizza here. After 2 1/2 hours of shopping I returned home to find the food was not delivered yet. So I called and they said they will get to it. I explained my concern and they didn't care. 45 min later the food was delivered. I have not ordered from here since. read more

They forgot my dipping sauce that i had ordered and was charged FOR! when my father had called back not once but TWICE for my w dipping sauces we were told they would send a free 2 liter for such a big mess up, second time around they came with cold gravy and cheese and no 2 liter. Just feel that it was RUDE seeings my family and i spend lots of money here to be treated so poorly the other night on top of ALREADY waiting 2 hours in advantage for our food, for it to come and just be all wrong. Pizza isnt the best in the city but the wings are descent. Not a bad place for MNF since they serve late and have a full bar inside. As you are probably aware, the amount of restaurants in Niagara Falls is far and few between. Jaco's was a breath of fresh air being a little off the beaten path, no traffic, and a cozy dinning atmosphere that seemed to be filled with locals. The food was great granted my wife and I were exhausted from the day so at that point anything edible would have been great. Seriously though, our 12in pepperoni pizza was fantastic. Called in an order for a double order of fingers, asked the lady if it came with fries she replied no so ordered a side of fries with our meal. Drove 10 min out of the way to pick up our food. Got home to a double order of wings! Called to let them know what happened and they proceeded to tell us we were wrong! Drove back with the wings to exchange for fingers and made us pay more even though they gave us the wrong order.. terrible costumer service and the fingers were not cooked all the way through. Also, they said we would be getting fries because they come with them, go figure we didn't get our fries either. Our entire experience with this place on 7/2 was terrible. It all started when I used their Facebook page to access their menu and place an order. The price quoted me was a few bucks higher than what I expected so I asked about that. It turns out that they raised their prices on 6/9 and that they didn't get around to updating it in Facebook. I asked the manager if I can be charged the price they have on their FB and he said no. I explained that I feel I'm being penalized because they failed to update online and he still wouldn't budge. Obviously, businesses use online resources such as social media to promote their business. I should also note that when I called them in the past and asked if they had a menu online I was referred to their FB page. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Our total came up to $31 for a personal pizza, fries, chicken finger dinner. We were charged $1 each for 3 sides of ranch and a side of BBQ. Way over priced for tiny dishes of sauce. Also, I did not get my side of BBQ I called and they put a $1 credit under my phone #. My fiance seemed to be happy with his food but my pizza was mediocre at best. Food is way overpriced and I'm deeply disappointed in their business practices. For a business that relies on word of mouth to grow their customer base they will get no help from me. read more

So went to the original Ventry's pizza place and it was horrible( see review for that place). Left Ventry's and took the short walk to Jaco's and so glad I did. The menu had plenty of variety for any eater. The Pizza was AMAZING and fresh unlike Ventry's who wanted to sell me old/cold cheap slices. Jaco's was great great great and Michelle our waitress was Da Bomb!!!! I hope she reads this because she was awesome. The chef came to the table to make sure our pizzas were exactly what we wanted. Top notch service from great, down to earth people. Would 1000% recommend this place to anybody rolling into town.
