Four of us came in for an early dinner on Sunday at 2:30pm, the place was quiet. They have some booths by the window and we took one of those. There's a fireplace nearby that you can sit by as well. It's a nice decor. Our server, Karen, was super friendly, quick, and just amazing. The poor thing was the only one serving customers and had to run around a lot. We ordered a pepperoni half-tray and 20 hot and mild wings for $45, which I felt was a little pricey. We also ordered 10 more BBQ wings on the pit for $17. Most bottles of beer were only $4 and glasses of wine for $5; very reasonable. The pizza came out first and was cooked well with lots of cheese and cupped pepperoni. The underneath wasn't crispy but overall the pizza was pretty good. All wings, without asking, were cooked very crispy. The hot sauce was more like medium, the mild sauce standard. This is my new favorite dinner spot. It's so close to home and the food is great, the service is fabulously attentive and the bathrooms are the cleanest I've ever seen in my life. They're like hotel bathrooms that you want to be your own. I'm a huge fan of their soup and salads but they have a TON of things on their menus and everyone gets the wings and fingers. Every time I go there, people are getting the wings and the sauces smell sooo good. I highly highly recommend going here for a nice relaxing night out. read more

Management sucks in that place I went and got a pizza sub . they put a pickles in the box so by the time I got it, the pickles have soaked through the bread of the pizza sub which I can't stand pickles I called the manager, explained to him that I don't like pickles and that the pickle juice has soaked into the bread which I'm not gonna eat because it's disgusting. His response was I'll give you 10% off your next order I said no, I want my money back on the pizza sub. We can't do that. All our subs have pickles in it. We stopped in for takeout. I fully intended to get a Chicken Finger sub, but when I saw the pizza slices, I could not resist. My husband ordered the sub and I got to try it and it was really good. I have been trying to find the best chicken finger sub in Buffalo/Niagara Falls and it just might be this one. Don't honestly know what would have made our experience here any better. We are not white table cloth folks and we're very thankful to be sent to Mr Ventry's by a local. On Mother's Day we went here after months of driving right past. It was crowded inside and outside being a special day, but we were seated immediately. I'll tell you right now: if you seek a military discount, tell them when you get the bill because otherwise - unlike other places we've dined at - they will not honor your status. Being a very busy night, the wait was a bit long but expected. Don't eat out on a special Day like Mother's Day IF you want to eat and depart quickly! This is the very first time inside here and it was new-looking still and roomy. The seats behind me had a kid kicking on the back, so I moved to sit side by side with my wife. My wife had fish fry while I opted to try the Eggplant dinner, which comes with spaghetti with sauce. Right off, their drinks comes in commercially-purchased 20oz plastic bottles, which really surprised me as I thought this was a true sit-down restaurant. Our ice tea in a commercial bottle at $3 a 20oz bottle. IF they would have had the decency to tell us they are so lazy they don't offer this freshly made in a glass, we would have refused this plastic bottle! The idea is to use LESS plastic and more recyclable glass! I would later be surprised again. Our dinners arrive finally and we dig in. The eggplant are four sliced breaded discs instead of the side cut whole piece of eggplant that I am accustomed to, so now I am basically eating 1/3 of a whole eggplant, simply meaning the diner gets LESS for the buck. On the same plate is spaghetti covered with red sauce. Nothing really tasted good while eating; this could have been the spaghetti meals served in the military. Not really filled with spices nor flavor, BUT that's just my impression. As I finished my meal, I noted that - first time ever - I ate a spaghetti meal with sauce and had NO bread! Disgusting, and this place calls themselves authentic Italian! I think not!! I tried catching the attention of our server to ask for bread... or after a few more minutes ANYone for that matter, but that was impossible with all the people dining, so we just wanted to pay the bill and get out. That's probably WHY I forgot to ask if they offered a military discount, and when I tried to correct my error just a minute later, she said no, she's already started the transaction. When this happened at other eateries we've been to, they simply canceled and start over with NO problem, but not here! They also did something that I really hate: they were constantly cleaning the floor with a broom and dustbin which throws up dust. If WE had seen this done before we ordered, we would have left. We are happy we did come here finally, and thankful they were so helpful in helping us decide if this place would be a destination again in the future. read more

I always support businesses in Niagara falls but this place was just horrible for one I ordered a half a tray of pizza bread they charged me for a full tray and then when I got the bill the prices didn't match what was on the menu the waitress stated that there was a little disclaimer in the front of the menu stating the prices will not match which I find ridiculous... A very misleading and unprofessional for a business. They should have the changes on a piece of paper because the waitress stated that they were waiting on new menus..My daughter's parmesan butter wings were bone dry nothing.. in the bowl no sauce whatsoever my pasta with garlic was a half a jar of canned garlic thrown on the spaghetti... My wife's penne with sauce the sauce look like something you get out of a jar no taste whatsoever.. I do not recommend this business whatsoever if I can give it a minus ----10 I would.... We ate one slice of the pizza bread and left it at the restaurant... Spent over $100 on garbage food.... The owners daughter yelled us cause my 3 year old lifted up The blinds at our booth to see where my husband went that's all. She didn't try break them literally lifted them up as I'm supervising, cause at 2pm for some reason all the blinds are closed so it's super dark in there. My 3 year old was in tears. Then after waiting 30 minutes for our food, the owners daughter yet again came over not even ten minutes into our meal asking to take our plates. We spent $70 on food to get yelled at and rushed out. On top of that during our 30 minute wait for food, Ten minutes for drinks and the whole time the owners daughter along with other staff yelling to each other back an forth. Their menu is very robust with plenty of options. Pasta, subs, pizza, and more. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is that you can't use a gift card for an online order. I had a gift card that would have covered my entire purchase. Instead, I called on the phone to place my order. It's definitely inconvenient that your only payment options online are credit cards. I really like this restaurant. It's close to home and very convenient when I'm busy and just need a quick bite to eat. It's definitely my go-to for a late snack as well as a nice dinner at home. My favorite is a sausage sub. I really like the sausage that they use. My fiance is obsessed with the rolls. He goes on and on about how much he loves the sub rolls. We both like most of the variety of slices that are readily available. Sometimes we'll go in and pick up our order and end up grabbing a few slices because they always look so good. A new favorite of mine is the beans and greens. My fiance loves soup with meals and he always orders a cup where ever we go. I decided to get a cup one night just to see what he was going on about and I was hooked. I don't typically order soup but now I get it every single time. Today I went and picked up two quarts of beans and greens because I'm working back to back shifts and I want something that's convenient that I can warm up quickly. I have had other restaurants version of beans and greens and nobody can compare to Ventry's. If I could, I'd buy it by the gallon. I've never actually dined in but most evenings it's quite busy and the parking lot is full. It can be a little tight when trying to park but it's really no big deal. A few weeks ago I went to pick up an order and a young man came right up to my car and asked if I was picking up. I was shocked! He told me that they've been doing carside service for over a year primarily on the weekends when it's super busy. I didn't even realize it. I usually park off to the side and just walk right up. I've grown to love Ventry's within the past year or so. With a few experiences under my belt, I know what to order and what not to order. I stick to the basics. Their pizza is ok, I'm not a fan of the dough used, it's thick. I'm more of a flatbread or how about no bread. I pretty much just end up eating the toppings when I get their pizza. Their chicken fingers that you can get in different quantities are delicious. Very good size for the price. I believe they only come with celery, I've never received carrots. Their bleu cheese they serve come in individual packs, it's a very good brand. Get the Pizza Logs, they come a la carte. I highly recommend getting their ravioli dinner. Comes hot and fresh, can serve 2-3, depending on how hungry you are. I end up always sharing and having leftovers. On the menu it says it comes with a dinner roll and butter, I've never received that dinner roll- but you tend to forget about it when you're face deep in ravioli. Ask for extra sauce, it's so tasty! Their meatball appetizer, I believe comes with (3) meatballs - ITS DELICIOUS. It came with this ricotta cheese mixture or filling? I'm not too sure what it was but it was definitely a hit. This place is a hidden gem! We came here on a Thursday night with my family (total of 5 ppl), got our seats right away and placed our orders. Our waitress Rachel was an amazing lady. She was extremely nice and helpful, checked us frequently and refreshed our drinks. We appreciate her service. Other staff were very friendly, too. We ordered a small chef salad with lettuce, cherry tomatoes, chickpeas, onions and shredded cheese. We asked for Italian dressing, it was a little sour for me but the salad was still fresh and tasty. Then we got mozzarella sticks and French fries as appetizers. Mozzarella sticks were a-m-a-z-i-n-g! Crispy and tasty! Fries were average lol. But their ranch sauce is delicious. We were staying at the Holiday Inn next door and you can just scan a QR code on your room key to see the menu and easily order online. A warm and cozy dining room with a gas lit fireplace. It's really nice that they have 2 side doors with a hallway to get pick up/ to go or to enter the dining room. This keeps the cold air off guests sitting to eat . We have always enjoyed our food here. The French onion soup is good; served in a large crock with croutons holding up the melted cheese. The chicken Parm is a favorite too. It is a very large, thin breaded cutlet smothered in mozzarella & served over spaghetti or penne noodles. We asked for a small dish of sauce as the pasta was lightly tossed in the red sauce( this is our preference and you may not need it) It is served with a a slice of fresh Italian bread and butter too. We also enjoy the wings; with char grilled barbeque being a favorite. There are 3 styles of pizza and we prefer the traditional thick crust..I recommend this place for all ages.
