I love finding boutiques! I found this place by accident one…read moreday as I was running errands, and did a quick peek for a wedding theme color. Although I didn't find the color I needed, I knew I wanted to come back. When I finally came back to shop, I had such a wonderful experience! I was greeted warmly, had a fitting room started for me, and was tempted to buy half the store! I came back another day for some pieces I didn't purchase the previous time, but they were gone :( There's a sort of thrill and disappointment at seeing the limited availability. Creates a sort of shopping rush to the experience! However, I did notice not all the staff are as warm as I experienced on my first shopping experience there. The last time I went, one staff member, short hair and bright blue contacts, wouldn't even make eye contact with me, and hardly spoke a word.

I've applied for this employer months ago, I got an interview with them and then they didn't select…read moreme, month goes by I get an email for a google meet interview which was today 10/23. I waited on the google meet chat for about 10 mins ( I was on 5 minutes early ). The instructions in the email says to give the store a call if no one joins after 5 minutes. Call the store and girl over the phone says she'll get the manager( unfortunately I don't have his name), waited about 6 mins on hold then she comes back and says he'll be on in just a second. I' waited about 20 mins overall on the call and he didn't join. It's unprofessional and I definitely won't be applying to this store again.

Prior to Church, I had mentioned that I needed to pick up a new belt because the one I am currently wearing is beginning to fray. Never say this to a woman who has Kohl's Cash Coupons plus other Coupons because then they are in a feeding frenzy just like Sharks smelling blood. Original thought was to hit the Kohl's in Huntersville on the way back but she found out there was one close to the restaurant in Gastonia so I had little option. She had already been badgering me for my underwear size so she could get a new set so Kohl's was inevitable anyway. It's a well stocked store which is good but at the same time, they have cut back on the sales associates till it almost self serve. Heaven help you if you don't know where thing are located. Found the belts first and found a nice one with excellent quality and a good price. Bought it and may end up buying another in a slightly smaller size if I can hopefully loose a couple of pounds. Underwear was a bit more challenging because my size was not part of the primary display but on an end cap but found what was the right size. With the coupons and Kohl's Cash, it was a good saving overall. I personally thought the replacing the underwear to be low priority but apparently not to my wife. Not the next day but the day after, I went to dress and all of my old underwear had been discarded regardless of wear and had been replaced with the new. Me personally I would never support small businesses because they're very inconsiderate with their prices. They're trying to cover the rent for their booth by overcharging customers. It's probably the nicest shop in the entire mall. Prices are in line with the Belk brand. Not cheap but not overly expensive either. Quality is good and I found a few deals on dress shirts in the men's department. Paying for my purchase wasn't perfect - it was not terribly easy to find a cashier but once I did, it was smooth. I gave one star based on the customer service that I received. I went to buy a watch and some…read morejewelry which were inside a locked cabinet. There was only one sales lady at 8 pm of that day. I first had to wait in line to tell her to open the cabinet. Then till she took care of customers return and check-out, before she could come to get those items for me. Then she walked back to the check-out counter & told me to line up after at least 6-7 customers. I asked I was waited prior to get the merchandise and I had to wait again. She said yes. I think that's not good customer service to make someone waited for twice in line. Sound like a punishment to someone who needed her extra service. Sorry for my feeling about that. Just put herself into a customer's position.
