For the $900+ price the frame I have cost, the least I'd hope for is a repair service. Within a year, the AR coating on my custom insanely pricey lenses just vaporized. I don't do anything crazy with my glasses and they go into the case whenever I'm not wearing them. Then my titanium "unbreakable" frames slid off a short coffee table and very much snapped in half at the nose bridge. Were they really titanium? Who knows. After reaching out to warranty service, they "don't have parts" and can't repair them. Customer service refused to help me at all and wouldn't even point me in the direction of a repair service. read more

My name is David Garcia I have been a long time customer of Jacques Marie Image, my wife and I have purchased 4 pairs of glasses and 2 of them at their Costa Mesa location which is amazing. The store at the Los Angeles location was pompous and made us feel invisible. We were waiting for our turn and a white lady walked in and they immediately serviced her and ignored us after asking us to wait. She was a walk in complaining about some order, but we were first. We waited and then were ignored. It was the worst case of white privilege I cannot believe that we were treated like we didn't matter. There is video out visit was at 11:40 am and we left at 12:00 pm on Sunday February 15th. This was supposed to be my Valentine's Day gift. Not cheap, but you really do get what you pay for. The frames are solid, well-crafted, and you can tell there's actual design intention behind them. They say a lot of what they sell is limited edition, maybe that's fully true, maybe it's just good branding, but either way, it works. It adds something to the experience. I've bought a couple pairs now and I'm honestly impressed. They've held up really well, and I get compliments pretty often....not because they're flashy, but because they stand out in a subtle, smart way. It's more of an IYKYK situation, and that's exactly the kind of energy I want in eyewear. The intake process is professional and kind of quietly elevated. This review goes out to Tyler. I had gone to the one in Costa Mesa and didn't have a great experience. I ended up buying 3 pairs of sunglasses. Came here to return one....ended up having a wonderful experience. The doorman was very polite and guided me in. I met Tyler who made me feel very welcome and comfortable. He showed me the glasses I had purchased but in all different colors...I wasn't show the options at the Costa Mesa location. This location has a much bigger selection and I love the natural light so you can really see what the glasses look like and how it looks on you. Are they expensive? Yes. I have never spent this kind of money on a pair of sunglasses but I also don't wear sunglasses because most do not fit me. I don't have much of a bridge so they always slide off. This was the first pair that actually stayed! In my opinion, they're quality made. Each has a story. The customer service was impeccable. I also learned that they have valet too. Been the only glasses I can wear now for years. Joey got me into the brand and Janelle has been excellent. I can't speak highly enough of the customer service. Needed a replacement lens and rather than coming in that had a courier drive it to my house within the hour?! They have more selections than what's on display just tell them what you are envisioning. They have optician in store as well. The frames are pricy but hold their value for years. Best customer service. Best product. I was also served Japanese whiskey in Baccarat glass and Evian water while purchasing. read more

Had nothing short of a religious experience popping my JMM cherry last week... Byron was kind, meticulous and knowledgeable without being condescending. He is also passionate about craftsmanship and an acetate and... fun, charming and patient. I felt like royalty as he selected frame after frame for me to try until we found the perfect pair for my heart shaped face. The Venice JMM location is truly special. I just walked to the store from my house in Abbot Kenny and they told me they're too busy to let me in when I see less than five people inside during their open hours and turned me away and told me to come back another day. Probably spent over $12,000 in glasses here this is one of the most pathetic businesses I've ever been to never again why I buy any of these Glasses from this company. I was so angry. I decided to repeatedly call the store until somebody picked up to make an apparent appointment and they let me in 15 minutes later. I was more than willing to wait outside previously, but the guard was so rude. Said no you can't come in today, which was ridiculous cause by the time I left the store later there was nobody else in there besides myself. Long story short I ended up spending almost $3700 on a pair of glasses and a bolo tie from them. Go figure the sales associate gives me the wrong packaging materials when I left, the box for the bolo tie was inaccurate. When I got home I looked online & It's supposed to have a hardshell box. They just tossed it in a little bag inside of a cardboard box and none of it was accurate so I had to come back on Sunday and go get the proper materials from a young lady who is very friendly and professional. just not a great shopping experience for spending this kind of money. read more

Horrible customer service. No response to emails and they don't pick up phone calls. This is supposed to be a high-end store?

For whatever reason, the salesperson shoved my glasses into the wrong size case. I said "That case is the wrong size." Salesperson smiled at me, put the wrong size case containing my now smooshed new $750 frames in the box, put the box in the bag, and gave me the bag. Glasses now need to be readjusted, and I have to go back to the overly pompous store to get a proper case. They don't answer their phones, so I have no choice. Underwhelming and unkempt. Visited Sycamore Ave store and security guard asked to wait in a sitting area that had garbage and empty bottles on the table while the purported customer being attended to spoke loudly into a cell (seemingly to his credit card company) about his credit limit woes... Staff stood idly by, never welcomed, offered water, or exercised some situational awareness of the uncouth credit woe conversation the small room was being subjected to. Unpleasant environment frankly so went to Dan Deutsch on Sunset and quickly dropped not a small amount on sunglasses with an experience that was welcoming and fun to boot. Do better, JMM. read more
