I tried many places, and no one comes close! They are good people, but most importantly- they do your food right every time, on time, and it's absolutely delicious! Some of these people with the low reviews, and nonsense banter? Well you don't need to read into their nonsense past couple lines to realize, their fat in the head! Heck I'll even go so far as to say; "Probably best in Dutchess County!" I've personally only eaten in a handful of places in the Bronx & Queens that do it right like them. Small, 5 tables, eat-in or take-out. Typical Chinese menu for around here. Gone are the "one from column A and one from column B places". Definitely not like some of the places in Chinatown NY, but then neither are the prices. Nothing over $19. Most during the $12-$15 range. The portions are relatively large; sufficient to fill you up. It's all made to order. Tried the lunch special: roast pork egg foo with fried rice and an egg roll $12.98 with tax. Two large fluffy egg fu young omelets filled with char sui and vegetables. Not tough overcooked eggs. The brown sauce that comes with it, was on the side. It was smooth, all gloppy like some places serve it. The fried rice was also pretty good. Not loaded down with soy sauce. The egg roll wasn't oily nor greasy, hot - YES. I noticed one of the cooks was hand rolling egg rolls, and putting them on the side. I'm from Hopewell, but not sure I ever ate at Jade China until recently. This is my parents go to spot, and with lower recent reviews on Green Garden Newburgh (which was my go to spot the last few years) and swearing off Oriental Kitchen after some not great food in 2020. Went twice in the past few weeks and food was solid both times. Also quickly prepared. Kitchen looks clean which is a nice plus. Wonton soup was great as was lo mein and chicken with broccoli. My two favorite Chinese restaurants in Fishkill are closed on Tuesdays. I was really craving beef and broccoli so I decided to take a chance on a different restaurant. I ordered a few of my usuals to compare. Dry, luke warm, yellowish old broccoli, about 6 scrawny pieces of meat in brown goop. Lo mein dry as a bone and gummy. Shrimp with chinese vegetables, as far as I have ever experienced, should not be red. Weird flavor, 2 bites and into the garbage. Now I know. Maybe it was an off day but I'll never chance it again. General Tso's done the way it should be. Very good spice level. Fried wontons were kind of soggy but flavor was good. 3.5 stars

Decent service I will say since they nice and did not rush me into ordering, plus asking for chopsticks and hot oil was not a chore to them. Szechuan wontons were delicious, decent amount of filling and sauce bathed on them was spicy but not overwhelming, just a mid simmer of heat. Found it bit strange there veggies added to the sauce. Boneless spare, we're a great mix of sweet and savory, and the meat was very tender. Do wish they held back of some of sweet since the sauce was very sweet, like a lot. read more

Order basic shrimp with broccoli shrimp fried rice lunch special. The food was warm like it's been sitting for a while and I probably ordered it less than 15 minutes before. They have a good lunch menu and the portion is perfect. The food quality was average. However, my order was ready very quickly.

If you come here with other people dont expect to eat with your party. Food came out at different times. Shrimp dumplings turned into beef after she waited 15mins. Not worth the money. Move on up the block to something else. read more

I normally get the chicken and broccoli or chicken mei fun, soup, dumplings, shrimp egg roll, general Taos chicken ( not all at once!) always piping hot , the bags packed well and the food is still hot an hour later if I don't get to it right away.
