This spot is beside my nail place. I smelled their food in the air. I walked in but was not immediately greeted. They seem to be really really busy. Eventually the lady asked for my order. I ordered the jade vegetables with shrimp and fried rice, and a shrimp egg roll. The egg roll a little on the salty side but the crust was very different from all others. Very good otherwise. First time purchasing from this place because I saw the ratings , but for me I give 3 out of five. I ordered online because I was at work and wasn't able to pick it up from the place. The restaurant is a few blocks away from where I work so I figure I'll order and hopefully they will come faster then an hr. It took them an hr to deliver two meals. Anywho my complaint is when I ordered online I wrote a note about how I would like my General Tso's chicken , I asked for the chicken to be Crispy instead I received slimy general tso's chicken. I also wrote other notes for them to read which they did and I was happy about that so that is why I didn't give them 1 star. However, I was very disappointed with my chicken and did not eat it. Let me first say that I frequent Jade Garden but as of late, their attitude and service (food quality) has been on the severe decline. The Good: It's the cheapest local Chinese takeout in Fleetwood, the prices are less than the other takeout, Great Wall. The Bad: I ordered Fried Scallops, and they sent me these (pictured) breaded things. Being curious I removed the breading to reveal a white gelatinous mystery coiled thing. Now I was inclined to think that it was imitation Krab meat, but it was shaped like that bubble gum by the foot that unravels perfectly. I called back Jade Garden and asked if the Fried Scallops are in fact real scallops... There was a pause and he said, he just orders them from the seafood company. I repeated my question hoping that even though he 'just' ordered them, he would know what he is ordering instead of just un-boxing deliveries and dropping them into the deep fryer. I asked if he has ever had them or knows what it is made out of, instead of backing his word (which I might have respected) and saying "they're made out of scallops of course' he said 'I don't know'. Goodness... it would not be much to take to court if you simply ask one question and debunk the said menu as they're selling them as 'Scallops'. Makes me wonder what the rest of the perpetrated menu items are made of...? read more

I used to order from here all the time. Their food is definitely not as good as it was. So now, THE ONLY things I always order are the crab rangoon and tje shrimp mai fun. That is all. I give both of those items 3 stars. However today, I ordered the mai fun and the fried vegetable dumplings. Thise were horrible. The dumpling was very thick, barely fried and the filling was the same filling they use for egg rolls. I was exoecting actual vegetables like I've had elsewhere. I should've ordered the crab rangoon! This is one of the many local Chinese restaurants in my town me and my kids like to visit they usually get the sezchuan chicken with pork fried rice and I would usually get the pork fried rice with chicken wings. The food is always tasty and it doesn't hit you too hard in the pockets. Simply put its a good place with local flavor and a-lot of tasty food to try. read more

Let's face it y'all, it's Chinese take out, yet the best darn good judging it against other Hunan/Chinese take out I've seen, heard or eaten from before. These people have the best costumer service etiquette I've ever seen among Chinese before. It is formidable how every time we ring them for take out, they remember our previous order and ask us if we want the same.. I'm beyond obsessed with their wonton soup, sesame chicken and veggies fried rice to the point I have impaired ability to choose between the three so I order them all... The place it's outrageously clean and it gives me peace of mind that I can see into their also clean kitchen(no cat slaughtering, rat frying or Anything of the sort).... Food was ok. The delivery guy decided to look for my apartment on the other side of my building when there's a clear sign at the entrance of the building where mine would be. I had to tell him to meet him at the entrance after calling his number. He was very upset as if it was my fault. He couldn't speak English well enough to communicate or understand what I was saying so he got more angry. I just took the food and at that point lost my appetite. Every few months or so, I crave Chinese food. I usually go for something simple like the steamed dumplings or steamed broccoli with garlic sauce. I recently moved to MV and was thinking that I would try Jade Garden. I got the steamed dumplings. Most places I have been to make the steam dumplings more like steamed wontons. Not this place, they are more like steamed pork buns. But what makes it even worse is that they are practically all flour.When you bite into one it's all doughy and gooey and just plain gross. Definitely not a good look. I think I will stay with Spring Asian in Gramatan instead. read more

Horrible!! Ordered sesame chicken, bean curd with meat, Steamed dumplings, and crab Rangoon. The chicken was so dry and thin, no sauce. I'm not sure if there was even any chicken in there. It was topped with 3 pitiful pieces of steamed broccoli. Crab Rangoon didn't have ANY crab, just imitation and they weren't crispy, they looked like tiny empanadas. The bean curd was cold and had no taste. The dumplings were so thick and doughy, barely edible . I think they gave us sweet-and-sour sauce for dipping for them. I asked for fried noodles and I got what looks like some canned Chung king noodles. I can't believe that this is what is considered "Chinese food". Trust me, I understand this is not authentic Chinese food and I didn't expect that but I at least expected quality meal for what I paid and this is pitiful and disgusting and I would never go back again. read more

Do not order from this place!! The dumplings are all dough and had little to no meat or veggies inside. The veggie lo menu had 2 pieces of broccoli - that's it!! And a pound of sauce that was so greasy and had no taste! The General tso's chicken was like rubber with no sauce on it whatsoever. Our favorite take-out in Fleetwood. They accomodate our requests and have the best selection for everyone, including picky kids. One child won't eat Chinese and orders their chicken nuggets or fried shrimp. The other makes endless requests to his order and they always get it right (and these give them something to think about, like shrimp lo mein with no vegetables whatsoever). Even my mom, a native NYer who's ordered take-out Chinese her whole life loves Jade Garden when she comes for a visit. Great stuff! read more

I rate this on a scale against other Chinese take out, not the whole world of food. That said, the crab rangoon are the chivey kind; I prefer the sweeter mix so I give them 3/5. Fried wonton 2.5-3/5 because they could use a little more seasoning. Chicken chow mein I will give 3.5/5. Food was ready in ten minutes as promised and the man who cashed me out was friendly.
