My husband brought me here for the night to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary. We had a BLAST! This hotel is a lot older but it's beautiful and there is plenty to do. There is a bar that we went to once before dinner and once again after we came back from dinner. The blood orange margarita there were so good! The hotel room was beautiful and the bed was extra comfortable. So comfortable... we slept in until 10:30. Check out is at 11am. Oops! The waterpark was a lot of fun. There is a swim up bar that serves pretty good drinks. Obviously the prices are going to be high but it's okay for the occasion. The hotel and waterpark weren't too packed for Labor Day weekend. I would absolutely come back for another stay if and when the time presents itself. read more

Stayed here in late June for our annual CMSA conference. I opted for a room in the newer Tower vs the Atrium. The hotel is beautiful with several restaurants and quaint seating areas. My room was clean and & spacious. I had a small hiccup when I got in that was promptly addressed thru the texting app. We ate at Ser-Steakhouse and frequented the lounge downstairs for fresh pastries, pizzas, sandwiches and drinks as needed. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend it if you have kids. There is a mini water park and play area just outside the tower. It has plenty of cabanas to sit and relax while they play their hearts out. read more

We checked this place out on our recent stay at the Anatole and had a great time. The lazy river, pools, slides, hot tub and kids play area were awesome. Fun for the whole family. The swim up bar is a nice place to grab a drink in the refreshing water. The 2 water slides are fun. Our daughter enjoyed the kid's play area with another slide. The lazy river moves quick but is relaxing in a tube. The food at the pool grill was great. The smash burger, hot dog, and turkey wrap all had great flavor. The food was better than the hotel room service for sure. We had a great time. read more

Nice water park with just enough for a fun day. Has two decent slides we had a blast on. A lazy river and a few pools. A swim up bar and snack bar kept us full and "hydrated" (wink wink) all day. Food was pricey but that's to be expected from a downtown Dallas hotel/waterpark but pro tip. I did see lots of families bring their own food and snacks and eat at the picnic tables right outside the door of the waterpark that is still in the courtyard of the hotel. Great little Waterpark to relax in for a staycation. Waterpark access for guests when you stay at the Hilton anatole. The Waterpark has a couple slides, pool, hot tub, splash pad, water basketball and a lazy river. I love lazy rivers! It isn't very big, and you circle around pretty quick, but the current is pretty swift and there's lots of water features and changes in scenery that make it nice. There's a grill where you can order food and drinks. Basic food like chicken tenders, corn dogs, fries, etc. Not great, but will hold you over. There's also a swim up bar where you can charge to your card or room. Although I think the drinks are pretty overpriced. Lots off chairs and cabanas. There's also a private area you can reserve with daybed. But the park wasn't too busy and it was a nice and relaxing way to spend the day. read more

Overall a pretty good experience. Staff was very nice. Only remember one person - Asher I think who helped with luggage. Our room wasn't ready until after 4pm but they let us store our luggage until it was. Our room on 12th floor of tower was nice but old in terms of furniture being worn down (couch/chair). Bathroom and beds were nice. Elevator never took a long time which I was surprised by. I thought with 20 something rooms it would take forever. The "waterpark" was okay. Mostly my 4 year old and 8 year old liked it because of the kiddie and older kid slides. My almost 10 year old was over it after 1-2 hrs and just liked the lazy river. Also the pavement was surprisingly hot. Like foot blistering hot - so keep that in mind. Kids activities were okay. My kids did the duck race which was a lot of fun but the prizes for tokens weren't too cool. They were so excited about the tokens but then were severely disappointed with the prizes. Lol Room service was a bust. It was expensive and not worth it. We love getting room service at resort hotels and love the feeling of being pampered with the nice trays and presentation but that wasn't the case here. All of our meals came in a bag and my son was looking forward to the big pretzel and cheese and it wasn't good. Mostly because the cheese resembled orange gravy. We did valet and glad we did because it was always packed. You have it your entire stay and can grab your vehicle at any time. Just remember to request vehicle 30 minutes before you because the resort tends to be packed during weekend and summer. If you get the resort package then the kids eat free if you buy an adult breakfast buffet for like $25/person. It's one adult and one free kids. We didn't think we should because our kids don't eat too much but then we ended up spending $25 buying them a pastry and milk each so we just should have spent the $50 and all four of us could've had a hot meal. If you're thinking of going to the Hilton Anatole, don't. The service people are arrogant for no reason and they think that their jobs are tenured. For $400 a night you might expect better, but it isn't. Never experienced such abysmal service in my life! I was at Anatole Hilton with the Texas PTA and almost 2,000 people. Media + Grill was the in-house dining option in our rooms. I tried to order food since 8:00 PM, however no one was picking up the phone, and every QR code led us to a Canva account instead of a menu. We couldn't reach anybody for help. They ended in-house delivery at 10:00 PM and we walked down to show them the error and order food in person. When we finally told them, one waitress blamed the QR code, which didn't make sense to me because it's just a static link. I talked to the front desk, and they claimed the hotel had no control over the restaurant. The restaurant manager on duty, Ibrahim, was dismissive and dishonest, saying everything was fine. But when we went to the bar to order, they said the menu wasn't available. It was a late-night menu, and we were out of luck. They didn't seem to care at all! To make matters worse, the person I was with had a $900 charge from this same restaurant for another reservation recently. No wonder she didn't feel comfortable ordering again. Avoid this place if you want to spare yourself horrible service and countless mistakes. Pool is nice for little ones and lazy river great for relaxing but Over priced drinks. They automatically add gratuity without deserving it. Payed $80+ for some chips, Caesar salad, a beer and margarita only for Maria to move my family from one of the tables only because a white family wanted it. Mind you, there were plenty of other tables available. Didn't say anything because I was in line while I was watching what was happening. Brought my daughter here to hang out for the day. Totally overhyped,  and had I known it was not going to be anywhere near worth what I paid for, I never would have done it. We live in Mckinney and have the Apex within a 10 min drive. This place has everything the apex does. Except the apex does NOT have the rude workers and "can't bring in any outside food" rule.  After asking for directions at the front desk to Jadewaters (with a clearly visible yeti cooler bag on my arm) we walked all the way to the pool area, and we were forced to go back to our car, and leave the bag. No they wouldn't hold it. I paid for VIP loungers, and we were given regular bands at check in and had to find our reserved seats on our own. Funny enough first thing I saw when we walked in was someone with a Yeti cooler. Yep right at the front in plain sight. I asked a waitress walking around where to find our seats and she said it was very odd we were not walked to the correct spot. Nope,  inspector gadget was too busy worrying about 2 bottles of water, 2 mini bags of Lays, and sliced mango to read the reservation correctly. So of course once we found our seat someone claimed to be sitting there. Had to go back to the front and work it out. Of course he was in the wrong spot, and we had been given the wrong wristbands. So now that we had to order this crappy food my daughter had the mini corn dogs. She said those were fine but I tasted a fry and told her to stop eating them.   They were completely grease logged and cold. I ordered the go big or go home bowl. Asked for corn to be substituted for pickled jalapeños. Was told no, couldn't do that. Uhhh..ok...weird. Got the bowl and it had no artisan greens,  was just all rice. Waiter brought a side of greens. My brisket was actually mostly tendon and fat as seen in the pic. Despite the various ingredients ironically the bowl had no flavor. That's a new level of talent... not sure how that happens. The place was insanely overcrowded. Double the amount of people in the lazy river as there were floats for it, so expecting a float ... good luck.  My confirmation email listed the prices for parking as shown in pic. However once we got to the hotel signs showed 40 for valet or 30 for self parking. We sat in valet area when we got there, thinking they would park the car, but I just watched staff talk to each other for 5 minutes while we sat there, and they helped no one. I finally got out to ask, and they told me to park in lot 2. So overall I would give 0 stars if possible. $200 for 2 of us to spend a few hours at your pool,  and that's the experience we get?  No thanks.. thought I'd stay for most of the day...left in 4 hours....that was a frustrating 45 min drive home. read more

Be careful! You'll book your room but then get added an insane amount of fees when checking in, like $60 a night parking.. We were in shock when the woman at the front just kept adding on the additional costs, including the cost for the water park.. why even have it advertised if it's not even included in our stay? On top of that, we all slept terrible. Our neighbors were INSANELY loud. My 3 year old kept waking up because they were screaming and blasting music at 3am.. they finally quieted at around 4:30 and we were all exhausted and cracky the next day. There was also street racing on the freeway, found an old target bag in our room behind the curtains, and the shower didn't drain properly.. we drove from Austin and wanted to like this place so bad so we're incredibly disappointed. My son did enjoy the slides but it can't say we would stay here again :( read more

We had a fun day. But didn't reserve any VIP extras. Had a hard time finding chairs. Pretty overcrowded on a Saturday. Eventually landed on non chaise chairs and in the shade which turned out to be a great decision. Food and drinks were good. A bit overpriced but it's a hotel, captive audience. Do bring small soft cooler with beverages. They typically don't allow alcohol but it was kids doing screenings and looked easy enough to bring in to avoid more expensive drinks. read more

Great time for everyone. Very comfortable rooms and service levels are top notch. Everyone from the Valet Team, Front Desk, Bell Captain, Wait Staff and the cleanliness and peaceful will put you in vacation mode. The Lazy River is by far the best attraction for most, the swim up bar and easy to order from your seat feature is great for the person who just want to rest and take it easy. The slide and game areas for the kids is also a hit. Nice getaway read more

Pros: -Fun for a multitude of occasions; I went with my partner and we had a great time, and lots of other people there were in bigger groups or there with kids. -The swim-up bar is great! They're fast and it's nice to not have to get out of the water. -Drinks are tasty. Cons/Good to knows: -Get to the pool as early as possible if you want a lounger. We arrived close to 11am on a Saturday, and we were really lucky to find chairs. -This is with most pools, but the bathrooms aren't the best thing ever. What a great spot! I only wish the pool was open later into the year! Closed after Labor Day is so premature for Dallas. I got to enjoy Jade Waters on an impromptu Girls Weekend staycation. We started with lunch Poolside (great portions and yummy drinks) and then relaxed via inertubes in the Lazy River for THREE hours! We were the only people sans kids in the Lazy River, but that didn't deter from the fun or relaxation. With our pruney toes we meandered over to the Adult Pool and got ourselves a drink at the swim up bar - yes please! All the bar-side spots were full buy we loved the in-pool tables and swim up seats as they offered some privacy and we could stay in the pool! I am so excited to go back again, I am just so sad I have to wait another year! read more

Where do I start! Should be 10stars! We called with questions about ADA .. left a message and didn't think we'd here anything back.. Boy was I wrong. Jeff promptly called back and was AMAZINGLY SWEET AND HELPFUL! The morning of our arrival Jeff called to let us know they were getting busy, to ensure we'd get shade for my paralyzed grandmother, he met us at the gates and found CONNOR. The two of them made our day absolutely amazing I was in awe of how wonderful they were accommodating us and helping. We wheeled my grandmother into the pool and they assisted her into a tube to enjoy the lazy river, she spent hours in the tube with her grandchildren splashing and playing nearby. They assisted anytime we needed something and checked in with us very frequently. Because of these two gentlemen our day could not have been better! We will be back because of them! read more

We decided to meet our family for lunch at Media Grill. When we pulled into the valet lane we were told that Media Grill would validate our ticket. When we asked our waiter he told us to go to the front desk. When we arrived at the front desk the lady was rude and dismissive. We also spoke to an ambassador named Samuel and he accused my husband of trying to get over. He never acknowledged what we were told nor did he assist. When my husband told him how rude he was Samuel apologized. Not sure what's happening but if you train your staff you would not have to deal with customers who have been given bad information. I will certainly not recommend this location to friends or family. read more

Pool area is much smaller than what pictures, description and price for resort pass was. There is no adult's only swimming area. Kids are still arms length away from the sim up bar. The bar is nice but for $9 a beer and $16 for cocktails it gets to be an expensive outing very quick. Bartenders are not friendly. read more

Definitely a great place with less commotion than most waterparks. Decent size but not too big. My favorite part was the lazy river. You should rent a cabana or daybed on weekend days to secure a good shade spot! Jeff is the manager & his hospitality is spot on. We had two great waiters--Anton & Trayvon. I stayed overnight at the Anatole and went to Jade Waters in early July. Paid my bills from both the hotel and water park at that time. Fast forward to mid August and I see a charge for almost $200 from Jade Waters on my credit card. I've been trying to track down how my cc was used a month later when I wasn't even at Jade Waters in August. Hilton is giving me the runaround connecting me to several different departments with no resolution/reimbursement. read more

Very dirty and overcrowded. Kids are wild and unsupervised in and out of the pool. They push and kick you as they try to race each other in the lazy pool and in the lines to the waterslide. Pool is full of plant debris and human hair. Got a weave ponytail stuck around my leg in the lazy river and kept getting long hair stuck in my fingers-it wasn't my hair! The pool is really over chlorinated and just lukewarm. They really should put a cap on the people as it's way overcrowded!!! read more

I came here on a Monday as a guest of someone with a cabana. My first impression was how clean it was and it wasn't packed like other places. They had a bunch of different areas and I even ran into someone I knew because apparently it's really popular. I had no complaints about the waterpark area. It was perfect for my 6 year old daughter. There are several pools, a lazy river and 2 big water slides. Bring your own floaties, life jackets. There are tubes provided for the lazy river. There are free cold water dispensers and cups. We ate lunch at the snack bar, and while it was pricey ($18 for a turkey wrap and kids meal of chicken tenders), it was actually a lot of food and was good! Waitstaff walks around and brings you whatever you need - food, drinks. Towels are provided. Mermaid tails are not allowed (my kid...) There were plenty of lifeguards as well. Don't ask the hotel staff about JadeWaters. They don't know. They didn't know if there are life jackets available, if there were towels, how deep the lazy river is... read more

The frozen drinks I had at the swim-up bar were weak so I'd recommended going for the real cocktails. They also serve poolside food! The lazy river was def a game changer. My friend threw a small bachelorette gathering for me at the Anatole, a couple of years ago. We got a cabana that fit 6-8 people. I enjoyed the swim up bar. We stayed at the Hilton last year and had such a great time we came back. I'm disappointed with the pool service this year. Last year the staff was on top of your every need. This year the staff could care less. Last year they were doing an international internship so it was international students and they were so delightful and gave amazing service. They need to go back to that cause the local staff they seem to have this summer is awful. At this point I'm really irritated by the awful service. We are still having a good time. We love the lazy river. It's one of the best lazy rivers. But when my daughter gets older we will probably venture over to Wolfe lodge. I think this is geared more for younger kids. read more

Oh this place is fantastic! Looking for a vacation and can't leave Dallas....please pack up the kids and get here! Adults let's be real, we all need a break from our wonderful children, here's a place that's safe and tons of life guards everywhere! As the kids and adults float along the 3ft lazy river, you will very safe knowing someone's always watching! Cool slides to run down, awesome hot tub and the most important thing is the pull up bar! Grab bar food and drinks and just relax! Great for birthday parties as I saw several! Everything is super clean! Staff is great! It's a little expensive but it's a water park/resort so keep that in mind!!!! There are two parts to this place. The lazy river you won't see from the highway cause its in the back! Valet is 25 bucks! Over night maybe different! Wrist bands required to enter the pool!!! Call ahead of time to make arrangements if you have a big party! Nice pool for kids especially. Lazy river is also nice. I would not recommend if you aren't bringing kids as there are kids everywhere, even all around the "adult" pool. Short and sweet review.... The art work, sculptures, and water features are amazing. The pool area is a delight with an adult pool/swim up bar. The 24 hour Starbucks/little food market is incredible! I'm probably being hyper critical here, but esthetically the hotel with all its towers, atriums, columns, etc....looks like a big ole corporate office. For $700.00 a night you'd expect the rooms to be a little more top notch, but it appears to have had a 90's renovation and the buildings themselves are mirrored glass.....straight up 83'. I don't care really that they charge $12 bux a hot dog or that you have to spend an additional $25.00 a day to use the pool (that's on top of the other SERVICE fees...oh and dip deep into your pockets to pay to park your car), but to charge $700.00 for a room that I liken to some Country Inn & Suites in the middle of Kansas, is is is I don't really know how many stars this great big convention center...
