Decided to give it a shot after reading the reviews here in Yelp. J'adore is a new salon in Las Colinas, so when I walked in (Friday, 3 pm), there were only two customers and five technicians. I asked for classic pedicure, nexgen and eyebrow waxing. I got Michelle to do my feet and Anna to take care of my hands. The result? Amazing! Michelle did a great job taking care of my blisters, I also have issues with ingrownials on my toes so she kept asking, if I feel any pain - she was super careful and I am excited about the result. In the meantime, Anna did my nexgen, she was very thorough making sure the base would not get off of my nails, as it is basically glue. Also, I needed a tip for one of my broken nails - no glue got spilled or out of place and she took pride in shaping my nails into a perfect almond with nice look from every angle. Before applying the top coat, she made sure I liked the shape and adjusted one nail according to my wish. Anna finished this whole thing with paraffin wax included in nexgen price, and I felt like with a pair of new hands! It was all very relaxing and after getting my nails done, I got quickly my eyebrows fixed to a perfect shape. All together $80 - $40 for nexgen, $30 for pedi and $10 for eyebrows, which is appropriate for the area (+tip of course). The place also has wifi and serves non-alcoholic beverages and some drinks too, though I haven't checked them, as I don't drink. Definitely recommend the place, worth trying! read more

I will not return. It is very hard to communicate with the technicians. I expect that when one works with feet all day, every day, they would have some common sense...such as don't take a pumice stone to the arch of someone's foot. As a reaction I jerked my foot, and said "there are no calluses there, no dry skin, there". The tech said "will you just be nice to me. If something is sensitive you just tell me and that will be ok. You have an attitude". Done. Not going back. I am not paying $40 and spending an hour of my time being tortured so that I can be lectured on the rules of polite exchange by the torturer. read more

Not sure if it was the polish or the technician. But days later the polish started coming up. It looks terrible now. I went here for a mani and pedi because of all the positive reviews, and what a great job they do. I have to say I must have had the wrong nail tech because I had to ask her to fix my nails several times. My toes were filed unevenly and jagged and when I asked her to file them she gave me attitude like I was being difficult. My mani was messed up, and I asked her to fix same attitude. My nails are not fully painted, and she was extremely rude and rough every time I asked her to correct something I got the attitude. My nails were a good length and she cut them way too short and continued to file them after I said that was a good length. She clearly didn't listen to me about anything I said. As a paying customer the customer service was horrible, and they are not accommodating to the customer. I will not be back. read more

This place is a joke! My mom, sister and me had lunch Friday next door at Mi Cocina. I noticed the new nail shop and since it was Mother's Day weekend I suggested to my mom to walk next door to get a gel manicure. They were understaffed and waited about 35 minutes until they were able to see her. I noticed everyone was offered a drink except for us/her. It was until half way through the manicure that a new nail tech that sat next to us offered finally offered us a drink. They were not very welcoming but as long as my mom was "happy" it didn't matter. Luckily prices were discounted because I didn't feel that a $40 gel manicure was worth the price. Well what do you know, my gut was right. Her nails were chipping off and peeling after only two days!!! I normally have my regular nail place but I suggested, we go back to Ja'Adore to get them fixed. Worst mistake EVER. We showed them my mom's nails and said they could be fixed. Perfect. They still seemed understaff but only waited 5 minutes. I was on the phone distracted when I noticed they were JUST PAINTING OVER HER POLISH AND FILLING WHERE IT CHIPPED!!! What in the world?!?! I said, "what are you doing!? Are you just putting polish over it?!" She responded with, "don't worry about it, I'm not finished." Ok, so I just asked to a manager because I don't about any of you guys but that is NOT how you fix it!! The young "manager" was in her twenties it seemed, and said it was too much work to remove gel polish and do it again. Also, there would be an additional fee, since it was a service that she had to do again. It all seemed crazy since, my mom just got them done! We shouldn't have had to come back in the first place! All she offered was to put more gel polish over the already gel polish. That doesn't make since because any girl that gets their nail done knows adding more polish will make the nails look more chunky and thick!!! (And two of them already looked like that before I stopped her from doing all of them) I was very disappointed to have to put my mom through that, since I was treating her for Mother's Day. In the end we just left because if I was going to pay and get it re-done right, it was NOT going to be there!! We went to Nail Times on Northwest highway to get my regular girl to fix them! Be warned if your nail polish chips, get ready to pay to get them fixed! Not worth it. read more
