He has, on more than one occasion, refused treatments despite ,y willingness to pay for them because he didn't feel the treatments were appropriate. If you want to be cuddled go find "mommy." Horrible experience at Dr Jaffe's office. After waiting 2 months, I go for first visit and was treated awful from the staff. I was told from at least 10 people not to go here...They would not allow me to use restroom with me having a UTI, because they wanted a sample which I offered. They said they wouldn't be able to use it until I actually went in to see PA. Then after holding it they tell me the doc won't be able to see me because I was there at 1:35 instead of 1:30 for my 2 pm appointment...Had to go to the next office to use restroom! Dr. Jaffe has been a beacon of light in the distance for so many addicts in the Brevard County Community. Upon moving here 9 years ago, I was in search of a pain management doctor who believed pain killers WERE NOT the cure for what ails you. I wanted to avoid surgery at all costs and have in fact done so through his treatment. While going to his office I've got to meet other patients who tell awful stories of addiction and have been saved by Dr. Jaffe.... As for being treated rudely by the staff as I read on here in a previous post, the ladies in that office deal with so many patients whose main goal is to get the "meds" and will stop at nothing to do so.... they are the first line of defense because Dr. Jaffe and his staff actually want to help people who are reaching out for it... it is very much still a war on drugs and especially Addiction. If help is what your truly after then it is the patient in my opinion that needs to understand how the process works and more importantly why it's come to this point and why the wall of trust must be built... For nearly 9 years I've found Dr. Jaffe and his staff to be top notch in current treatment, compassionate and caring but as an addict knows those traits are NOT something earned easily and like anything else that happens in an addicts life, must be earned and worked for... I was a patient of Dr. Todd Jaffe for years before he moved from Titusville to Melbourne. He is a great pain management Doctor. Gave me resodomys (if thats how you spell it) a few times and I would be good for two years or more, still needed pain meds but the treatments he gave me helped me so much I would recommend him to anyone in the Melbourne area. I only left him because I live over a hour away and the ride was to much for me. As far as I am concerened Dr. Jaffe is one of the best!!!!!!! Zero empathy by doctor or staff. The staff is hostile and rude, especially the office manager. The staff and doctor has already predetermined that any new patient must be a junkie addict and, therefore, treat them as such. Every patient was talked down to and ordered about by the staff. We actually watched the staff shame a very elderly woman because she was not moving fast enough. The wrong prescriptions were called into the pharmacy. When trying to explain that they made a mistake, they discharged me as a patient, and did not provide a clear reason why. They also refused to talk to the pharmacist. The doctor does not listen to what I have to say, and still thinks I am there for a "back injury" instead of my autoimmune condition. I was treated by an awesome Cedars Sinai pain management specialist in Beverly Hills for 10 years before moving to Florida and encountering this obnoxious hot bag of gas, and all Jaffe could do was try to discredit how my pain was previously managed. I have never experienced anything like this. Avoid this doctor at all costs. He will put you in pain and shame you while doing so. read more

After being addicted to benzo's for many years, as a result to dealing with chronic pain and anxiety issues, my family held an intervention and asked me to go to rehab. I said yes and decided I was going to take my life back. I completed a 28 day program in Palm Bay, FL and successfully became sober and drug free! The doctor from my rehab recommended that I follow up for pain management with Dr. Jaffe. The moment I called the office to schedule an appointment with the doctor, his staff was completely rude. I was a little confused as to why they would treat a new patient with such disrespect and a dismissive behavior. They were talking to me as if I had just gotten out of jail for drugs or like I was some lowlife just because I decided to go to rehab and change my life and be better for my family. Ultimately, Dr. Jaffe actually REFUSED me as a patient - no reason was ever given other than my insurance wouldn't pay - and I had told them that I own my own business and was happy to pay out of pocket. If you are looking for a genuine, compassionate doctor and staff - steer clear of this office. I am so glad that I didn't end up here. My doctor sent me another referral and I am getting the care that I need to stay clean, sober AND pain free. Good luck! read more
