Doctor Christopher Thaver was amazing! This was my first visit to Suntree Internal Medicine, and i was very happy with my experience. There is one thing i look for in a doctor... patience. I want to be able to ask a lot of questions. I want my doctor to take time with me and not feel rushed out the door. I want to feel confident the doctor wants to "get to the bottom of the things" with a sincere attitude. This is how Dr Thaver seemed to me. We didn't do any tests in this visit. We just discussed my various issues and made a plan for the future. I cant wait to come back! If you want any medical care, don't go here! Not one person cares about the patient. They charge you for "extra" fees that they don't disclose, and your insurance company doesn't pay. The billing department will harass you for the money. I paid the $200.00 and contacted my insurance company, which told me that the billing department had coded the charge incorrectly and that my insurance had sent a check to Suntree for the amount. I had the check # and proof that it had been cashed, which I sent to Suntree. I was told that it had not been posted yet! Now Suntree had $400.00 in their pocket, and trust me, it was a hassle to get MY MONEY back! Finally, after calling several times, I was credited on my card. 2 weeks later, I received the same $200.00 bill, stating it was overdue! I have also had to wait for over 24 hours for a prescription to be sent to CVS! If you call and ask where the prescription is, they first tell you that they are TOO BUSY at the moment to send it in. The second time you call, they tell you that the Dr has not given the prescription list. This is 4 1/2 hours after your appointment. It was a Saturday, and Suntree closed at 2:00 PM, while CVS closed at 6:00 PM. Called CVS at 5:30, and nothing had been sent in! Called first thing Sunday morning and was told they were working on it! Waiting more than 24 hours for a prescription is unacceptable! Beware of Suntree Internal Medicine. Dr. Pipek is not the person to see for continual treatment for TRT. The facility itself is huge and as impersonal as Dr. Pipek is. He judges his perception of you while he talks and makes you feel he is superior. He doesn't give you a chance to ask questions and understand him. read more

The medical staff is ok, somewhat rushed but luckily i have only had minor medical issues over the 5 years I've been going there. The billing dept, however, are highway robbers. They double dipped my supplemental insurance and my Tri care for 3 years. when I called them on it they promised to review and admitted they billed me for deductibles and copays I didn't owe. I never heard another word and they never paid me back for the bills I shouldn't have had to pay. BEWARE. Scrutinize your bills because they might be ripping you off like they did me. read more

Steer clear of this practice! I have been going for 6 years and they get worse every year. They are difficult to reach, have high turnover and are deceitful with their charges. As an example of this, I went for an annual wellness visit, and then got billed for extra tests. They don't disclose that certain screenings are not included in the annual wellness, such as the paperwork that patients are asked to fill out in the waiting room. They classify this as "depression screening" and not covered by insurance. I am not depressed and didn't even discuss my responses in the exam room. read more

I've been a patient at this practice for over 10 years, and unfortunately the quality has declined horribly over the past five. Appointments now regularly involve 1-2 hour wait times, phone calls can ring for 25-30 minutes before anyone answers, and referrals are frequently mishandled or sent to the wrong offices (including sending bloodwork instead of requested X-rays to a podiatrist). Administrative issues have also been persistent. During my fiancé's first visit, staff confirmed at check-in that his name, email, and address were entered incorrectly. It then took an hour to correct those errors before he was even brought back. Six months ago, my primary care physician of 11 years left the practice without notice. I was reassigned to Dr. Sukienik, whose demeanor during my first appointment was rude, dismissive, and abrasive. He attempted to prescribe multiple medications while clearly not having reviewed my documented medical history and dismissed my concerns entirely. I requested a different physician following that visit. I later had an excellent doctor and chose to stay despite the ongoing wait times and referral issues. I was scheduled to see her again, only to find out--from another patient--that she had left the practice. When I called to confirm, I learned that I had once again been reassigned to Dr. Sukienik, despite my prior request, and with no intention of notifying me ahead of time. After more than a decade as a patient, the ongoing disorganization, lack of communication, and dismissive care have made it impossible for me to continue with this practice. read more

I could not be happier with the medical professionals at Suntree. I never feel rushed and my concerns are listened to and addressed. Even the office personnel are helpful- once you get to them. Just a heads up that you might want to watch Suntree Internal Medicine's billing practice. I stopped by this past fall to get a flu shot and the nurse grabbed me, gave me a shot and I left a few minutes later. My insurance company was billed $175 for seeing a provider on top of the immunization portions. I was billed for the first time for a flu shot. I also had a heart ultrasound that was set up at the time of my physical and when I went to the appointment for the ultrasound, they had a nurse check me in and then put me in a room where a doctor popped in asked me if I was here for a heart ultrasound and if I had a follow up appointment. This was the only interaction and I was billed for a doctors visit along with the ultrasound. I have been going to the doctor for 29 years on my own and have never seen "creative" billing like this. I would just be aware if you use this medical practice. I should also add that when I called about being billed for the flu shot, the woman was extremely rude. l love my doctor but the support staff is constantly turning over so mistakes and negligence are too common. Referrals to specialists aren't sent for weeks and refill requests from pharmacies aren't responded to until you attempt to contact the practice by phone. There is a single person answering the phone and the wait is often in excess of 25 minutes and at the risk of being disconnected before the line is answered. The average wait time to actually see your doctor is 1.5 hours. It's a patient mill, overbooking, leaving little time with the doctor. If the owner would pay competitive compensation to his staff perhaps they wouldn't be losing my business? read more

DO NOT COME HERE. 1. they're charging people with "extended visit fees' when they only have the patience to see you for 3-5 mins at a time. I would absolutely ask for itemized receipts. And sue this place. 2. They don't give a single crap about you. My man actually was on hold for an hour once with yall. He DROVE TO YOU while still on hold. He was helped in person while still on hold. they are also making my man go in ONCE A MONTH, for a pretty basic medication, to just say "YUP, I NEED MORE." it's 30 seconds of a dr visit and 150 bucks out of his pocket each time. 3. Dr hardoon (IDC if I spelled it right or not) likes to sleep around with his lil minions. Catch them in the back parking lot. This place is awful. Absolutely the worst Medical Practice on planet earth. You cannot get a hold of someone on the phone unless you wait an hour on hold. Requested a next or same day appointment through their website on Friday 1-10-26 and they finally responded on Sunday the 12th so I scheduled one, via email, for Wednesday 1-14-26 at 9:15 am. When I arrived and checked in, they told me I did not have an appointment. That I would have to wait another 2 hours at least to work me in. This was the last straw after failed referrals and the fact that my regular doctor had left the practice (probably for good reasons). I just do not have hours to waste making and showing up for appointments that aren't actually scheduled. They also pawned me off to regularly schedule me with a PA because the doctor doesn't have time for me. read more

Most disorganized practice I have never seen. Excessive wait time. There is constant confusion in the office. Staff is poorly trained with constant turnover. The billing company is pathetic with constant billing errors. I was one of Dr. Thaver's first patients when he came to this practice. Unfortunately, he left the practice. I had appointments scheduled with Dr. Thaver and they continually call to reschedule me with a nurse practitoner. I am a 73 years old and I am not seeing a nurse practitioner. They have refused to refill my prescriptions even though I had my labs completed at my April appointment and was given a prescription for 90 days with one refill. In addition I requested my medical records and was informed that I had to pay 45.00. It takes time to locate a new physician and get schedule and I particularly Need my cardiac medications. They have no compassion. I continue to ask where Dr. Thaver went and each time I have been told he moved out of the area, he had a family emergency, he left abruptly and/ or they are not sure. I was let go as a patient due to "unable to keep balance up to date". How was that possible when I would pay my balance at my next appointment? This gave me pause and allowed me to really reflect on my experience at S.M.C. I Realized that this business employs several young, in-experienced "Dr.s" that relied heavily on their Ipads for medical answers (while speaking with me on a diagnosis). This in turn reminded me of the bitchy nature that came across from one female Dr. (maybe 25 years old) when I had asked for a call back about the new med Amlodipine that she prescribed for blood pressure. I asked her if it was a diuretic because I felt like I was urinating more and felt symptoms of actual dehydration from this. In a bitchy and impatient voice, she repeatedly told me no and that it DOES NOT make anyone urinate. Hey bitch, years later and online documents STILL say that it can cause people to urinate more! I hate people and organizations like this. Proceed with caution. read more

The Billing Department doesn't exist. Numerous attempts to reach them by phone and email has resulted in absolutely nothing. I keep getting statements address to the 'Responsible Party" and while making every attempt possible to be be responsible; my efforts have been ignored. Since there are blatant billing errors, I'll forward my questions to Elon Musk and request a DOGE investigation to resolve my billing issues. read more

The doctors here are excellent and the only reason I'm still here. Appointments generally run very late (1 to 1 1/2 hours). So the care, once you get it is great, the office process not so much. They schedule appointments back to back, leaving no room for a problem appointment. Once behind, there is little chance to recover. read more

Many times I have had to leave messages since you are unable to speak to anyone unless you are on hold for a ridiculous amount of time. Once you are in the office, the doctors have been good, but when you need something, forget it....! I have had to go to the office to get something accomplished. I have needed my husband to be authorized for therapy, and each time, I have left messages without any feedback back from the doctors' office. Right now I am on the phone with Health First who is trying to assist me, and there are seven callers in front of me...and the phone just rings and rings until someone answers it. read more

5 stars for Dr Klenz and the staff; however, my Mother had to find a new doctor at Suntree since Dr Klenz is no longer there. She saw Dr Scott Hardoon and was so disappointed. She said she never had a doctor be so quick in her life especially when she was meeting him for her first time. He didn't asked her about any items she identified as concerns and issues on her intake form such as her knee and history with high cholesterol. We waited months for her to see a doctor to address her knee concern and it wasn't even mentioned. Such a huge mistake not to do my research and read the google reviews online for her on Dr Scott Hardoon. He had terrible bedside manners and her appointment lasted 2 minutes max which is consistent with the reviews I read on Google for him. Unfriendly, impatient, and super fast. If you want to stay as a patient with Suntree or get established as a new patient, I would say to go with Dr. Ami Bhatt, NP Nikka Cohan, Dr. Thaver, or Dr Edwin Chan. They all have great reviews. We will give this practice another shot with a different doctor that has better reviews. Wish Dr Klenz was still there! Otherwise I will get her scheduled with my doctor at a different practice who spent 25 minutes with me on my first consultation (pre-lab work) and as a healthy 38 year old! Note that my review is mainly based on bedside manner, lack in fully addressing health history on intake form, and lack of time spent especially when it's a first visit. If you like your doctor to be super fast then of course Dr Scott Hardoon is your guy; however, I think most patients would prefer a doctor who spends more time with them and truly feels like their health is important and in their best interest. Aside from the time spent with the Dr~ the staff was excellent. Hope this review is helpful to you and your journey when finding a doctor to care for your health. Just do yourself a favor and read the google reviews for whichever doctor your decide on. It will save you some time and grief. read more

I really just wanted to add that the reviews were very helpful and appreciative to all. After searching Brevard county for a new doctor I was informed of this practice. After reading the reviews I decided that this place will definitely not work for me. Especially after reading the one response from the Business Owner and I felt it was sort of rude and arrogant. When I went to the Doctor today, he said I was getting a different dosage on treatments than what I was actually getting. He didn't know me or my chart well enough to tell the truth. Now you are lucky if your appointment is on time and if it is you will be put in a holding room and from there good luck. Once your doctor sees you it in and out like a fast-food restaurant. I cannot say enough good about this office and especially the providers in the office. Though there have been a lot of changes in office staff, I have had the same nurse practitioner, Shannon Spreitzer For the past 3+ years and she is amazing. When I have needed an urgent appointment, they have gotten me right in. I have seen, I believe almost every other nurse practitioner when I've needed an urgent appointment, and they are all great! They listen to your symptoms, they pay attention to your history, and have taken GREAT care of me. It's bad enough that you can never talk to a human on the phone when you call, but twice in just a few months I was in for an appointment and waited, the first time for 2 1/2 hours to be seen, and today I was put in a room and waited for an hour and was never seen. I went downstairs and asked for the office manager to be sure I wouldn't be charged for a visit that didn't happen. I waited another 15 minutes and no one came. I left with no satisfaction and without having seen any professionals. Please avoid Suntree Internal Medicine on N Wickham at all costs. read more

It's nice inside. But the way they operate isn't effective in my opinion. They call your name, first name, like no ones going to have the same first name and you also don't know who called you with the amount of people behind the counter. They need a light or something that shows people where to go or something. The nurses are usually young and aren't very well trained it seems, but some nurses are wonderful. The doctors are alright. Go to dr Bhatt if you can. She's awesome and actually cares, spends time with you. read more

You don't answer the phone it's not about having a " high " volume of calls I have legitimately walked in calling there and had them hang up on me, send me to voicemail and not answer the phone ... all while walking in. So with all due respect that's not a new problem this is an on going issue with your management and it's been brought to the Doctors attention and your multiple office managers attention.
