This review is solely for the sales portion: My husband and I have been in love with the Defenders since we saw one on the freeway in SoCal back in 2021 and we were obsessed. Fast forward to current times we were ready to finally pull the trigger. We made an appointment to check out the Defender and fell instantly in love. The sales representative Vitalli reached out to us and held our hand throughout the process. Upon the test drive we knew we were in love. After some talks with the sales manager Leon and some back and forth, we agreed and made a deal and could not be happier. Leon sealed what Vitalli started for us adding those finishing touches for customer service and we could not be happier. Not to sound corny but we were teary eyed once the process was done. It was honestly a dream come true. We named our new Defender Belle (after the city we bought her in). The sales team here at Land Rover Bellevue are just fantastic. The whole process when they showed us our new baby was TOP NOTCH WHITE GLOVE (not going to give away any spoilers but WOW when they hand you your keys and show you all the things these cars can do....and the environment they do it in...I'll just say if I am paying this much for a car, this is exactly how I wanted to be treated). A million thanks to Vitalli and Leon (and Nicholas in Financing who ironed out the small details with us...super knowledgeable and got us out relatively fast) for making our dream come true. Very disappointing experience with Land Rover Bellevue's service department. I have a 2024 Range Rover Sport that has had repeated battery/electrical-related issues. This is not a one-time problem -- the vehicle has been brought in multiple times, yet the issue continues to come back. What makes the situation worse is the service experience. There has been no loaner car available, communication has been poor, and it has been extremely difficult to get a clear answer on what is happening with the vehicle or when it will be ready. Every time I call for an update, I feel like I am being pushed off instead of being given a real timeline or explanation. The person handling my case was not working one day, so someone else took over, but the experience did not improve. The attitude was unhelpful, and I still could not get a clear answer on when the repair would be completed. For a 2024 Range Rover Sport, repeated battery/electrical issues are already frustrating enough. But the lack of responsiveness, lack of loaner support, and lack of clear communication from the dealership have made the entire experience even worse. After owning my Land Rover Defender for 4.5 years, I felt compelled to write this feedback. Back in August 2020, I came to Land Rover Bellevue intending to look at the Discovery. There was one Defender on the lot, a green 2020. I reluctantly agreed with my wife to test drive it, but that we would then move to the Discovery. I knew 10 seconds into the test drive that I was going to buy the Defender. I didn't even care about the large price tag on the windshield. It was a unique, rugged looking vehicle, it drove well, and it just felt right. I bought it that day for sticker price, and did not regret it. Turns out the vehicle is fun to drive, a champ in mountains and snow, on sandy beaches, or off-road trails, and gets "oohs" and "aahs" from others who see it and ride in it. I turned down Land Rover Bellevue's offer in 2021 to take the vehicle back from me for a very good price. I liked it too much. Fast forward to 2025. With work-from-home in place at my employer, I did not put many miles on the vehicle. As a result of this, I neglected to use the service appointments I pre-paid for back in 2020. That's my fault, I own that one. But in February 2025, my wife noted a noise coming from the compressor for the refrigerator when it kicks on. We brought the Defender in to have it looked at, and also planned to schedule the routine maintenance, although we had relatively low miles (24,000). When the service representative showed me the statement of work and the cost, I was stunned. For over $3,500, the only work that would be done was a change of serpentine belt (not needed at 24,000 miles), an oil change (doable for $100 at any number of places), a change of sparkplugs, and an inspection of a number of other components, which at that point, was clear to me meant "we're going to find more ways to get money out of you, our customer". After a 2 minute discussion with my wife, we turned down the service but asked for the compressor to be checked anyway. While the service tech confirmed nothing wrong, the inspection alone cost $600. Let's just say that, in the span of one day, I went from loving my Defender to hating it. I don't even want to drive it now. At this point, it's going to sit in my garage until I can trade it in for a non-Land-Rover vehicle. My response to the "oohs" and "aahs" used to be, "I love it, it's awesome", now it's "don't buy one, the service is ridiculous". Now, their response was "if you didn't want to pay for expensive maintenance, you shouldn't have bought the vehicle in the first place." I agree. Okay, I am shocked. Recently, I brought in my Jaguar for a bad alternator. Joe Mello, Service Advisor, gave me a quote of $2,000 (parts + service). I saw that he has increased the alternator part by $300 from a previous quote. I confronted him and he had a poor excuse (translation: I caught him red-handed trying to screw me). After running diagnostics, he then told me that they discovered a "faulty valve cover gasket" that would cost me another $4,500. WOW! I had my suspicions of Joe after he tacked on the extra $300 on the alternator part, so I took my car to another dealership. They ran diagnostics and no only did NOT find a faulty gasket cover, but they only charged by $800 for the alternator (parts + service). I know that Service Advisors work on commission, but this is beyond reprehensible. Shame on you, Joe Mello and Land Rover/Jaguar of Bellevue. read more

If you get a good deal on a car here, don't worry, they will make sure they make money on you when you need service. I recently took my car for a $5525 service. The check engine light came on immediately after. I took it back and was told a sensor was dirty, then it came on again, took it back and they said it needed to be replaced, quoted me $366.94, had to reschedule due to having two kids, busy mom, when I took it in ~6 weeks later now the price is $527.85. Guess what happened right after I left from the service, the check engine light came on again. Finally, I decided to go somewhere else and they said it was the same fault for the part replaced. They part was dirty and not installed correctly. Spoke to my service advisor and requested a refund. The manager called me back but I missed the call, never heard back from him. Don't get your car serviced here! And if you get a good deal on a car have a different plan for service. I'm glad I never have to go to this place again. read more

The last time I was in, was not for a major mile stone check. I was quoted $2000 to check fluids etc. I ended up not having all the "checks" due to the cost. So I had my oil changed and my tires rotated, this cost $700. The advisor said they would not reset my service light because I needed to pay them $2000 in order to turn it off. I've gotten all my service checks todate and this was at 50k. I'm very disappointed in Jaguar of Bellevue. This certainly has changed my mind on purchasing anymore cars they sell. This rating is for the service department. I had a very negative experience with my initial visit to the service department of this dealership. I bought a brand new car here, XJL collection and my advisor was terrible, rude, confrontational and try to cover up damage. I had spoken with the sales manager who was involved in my purchase, which went flawlessly. He apologized for the interaction and the issue and would address it. Fast forward to approximately 8 months later for its first service, which is included in a purchase for a brand new vehicle. I scheduled the first service almost 30 days out and called twice the week before to confirm that it would be a wait with the vehicle, not a drop off since it was a basic for service, mainly an oil change and a filter change. Any customers time is valuable, whether they are retired or every minute to every hour can be broken down to a dollar loss when wasted. I fall in the latter category so I am sitting here furious that not only was my appointment put down correctly, there was no apology and no attempt to rectify the situation other than saying you have to reschedule for another time. I am absolutely unimpressed with this service department in every way. Management of this department needs to read reviews like this, mine is not the only one. Address your customers correctly or you will lose them. read more

Went in for a maintenance issue and was not told the truth about the maintenance required for my vehicle. It's pretty clear that other items were added to increase the overall bill. I was incorrectly billed and after I caught the discrepancy, they gave me the runaround while trying g to explain why it happened. I've been working on cars for years and it was readily apparent that this coolant pipe was not "broken" like this while it was on my vehicle, it was damaged while in the service departments . Under the pressure that is created by the water pump, it won't have shot out of there like a geyser. It is a clean break that was clearly done while it was in the shop and they alleged that the water pump was leaking at the same time. I garage my cars and after I saw a few drops on the floor, I brought it in. There would be no time for this alleged break of the pipes to happen. Avoiding this service center at all costs.... Update... I have never been contacted by Devin the service manager so I brought my concerns to Dmitri. He sided with the story that the service department came up with and told me To have a nice day along with my $1000 bill and I have found a similar review with a similar Story. The Sales department sells the first vehicle. The Service department sells (or prevents the sale of) every subsequent one. Land Rover Service, both in Bellevue and Lynnwood (aka "Seattle") are two of the worst businesses I've ever interacted with. Nothing is ever done right on the first try, ever. That means people have to keep bringing back their vehicles multiple times to fix any single issue. The result is a logjam and back up of appointments so great that it's compounding in dysfunction and magnitude. I feel bad for some of the people that work there, but seems like everyone there just becomes numb to the human beings they trample on day in and day out. No one cares when the customer has to take 3 different days off out of their lives and work to keep going back to get the same issues resolved, time and again, many of which are created by the routine cutting of corners and short staffed, under-funded standards, all while the owner, Al, rakes in record profits. These two dealerships are a disgrace to the green oval Land Rover emblem, and should be rolled up and thrown out so that another, decent operator can replace the monopolized Seattle metro market. This is the absolute worst service department I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I regret leaving Lexus after 15 years and will promptly return once this lease is over next year. I have never had so much trouble and mechanical issues with a brand new car on top of dealing with a horrible service department. It takes months to get an appointment after dealing with a rude agents who could care less. When you finally get an appointment, your car will work for a few months and you'll be calling back with the same issue and it will take you 3 months to be seen. Buyer beware! This is a review for the sales side of the dealership. Zoran Bosiljkic is wonderful and so easy to work with. I send an email to the dealership inquiry about new 2020 E-Pace within half hour Amber texted me and connect me with Zoran. I told Zoran what I was looking for he was able to find me a 2020 E-Pace checker flag edition with only 3000 miles on it. It is dealership loaner car for only few months. Within 2 hours we scheduled a test drive. I didn't think was gonna be that fast. Once we arrived at the dealership we had a great time with Zoran he showed me two different car and showed me side by side the difference and which one would be a better deal. So after test drive Zoran showed us the trade in value and it was higher than the true car value. We were gonna go test drive Audi and BMW and check another dealership but the experience with Zoran was so wonderful so we decided to get the Jaguar right there and then. Finance was very easy too. This place is a ripoff! Beware! I purchased a new Range Rover Velar key fob from Ace Hardware. The key is identical to the original Range Rover Velar key fob that I have. Land Rover Bellevue stated that they cannot program the key since I did not buy the fob from them. Any "3rd party key" cannot be programmed, so I need to buy the key from the their dealership for $500 and pay another $250 to get it programmed. Btw, the service advisor, Silvano, was snotty like I was in the wrong for daring to ask why they didn't program an exact ranger rover key bought elsewhere. This is the same dealership years ago when I bought the Evoque the first year it came out, they refused to let me take it home after I bought it. Since they didn't have another Evoque on the lot, they wanted to keep my Evoque until another one comes in which would have taken more than a month. So, imagine buying a car and can't take possession of it until they say so. I will never buy or get service from this dealership ever. And I have bought 3 range rovers and a Jaguar from them in the past. They have absolutely no loyalty to their customers. Their service and sales departments suck! Called Land Rover Tacoma. They said they can program the Range Rover Velar key fob. I told them about what Bellevue Land Rover said. The Tacoma service advisor was in disbelief. ****PLEASE READ BEFORE BRINGING YOUR CAR IN FOR SERVICE**** Brought my Range Rover Sport with only 27K miles in for a belt replacement. Zach, the service advisor, told me the shop also noticed my transmission cooling line was "melting and cracking." I unfortunately believed this lie, authorizing the work. Getting skeptical, I requested that the shop keep the old part so I could inspect the damage when picking up my car. They held my car for over a week. I picked up the car and inspected the old line to find there was no "melting and cracking." I brought the part to Zach to ask him to point out this "melting and cracking" but he was unable to do so. I asked for a refund for parts and labor from the service manager (Mr. Dealino) since I was defrauded out of my money on a part I did not need to change but he wouldn't do so. If he tells me "that's what comes with being a Jag owner" one more time after something goes wrong with my car, I'm gonna lose it. Every time I need something done, it seems like I have to hear all the business employment problems and issues with people staying at this business. I'm fed up with this place. Not only did I wait 5 weeks to get into the shop, I was told that my rental was a minimum of 48 hours (which was lie because the enterprise guy gave the lady ahead of me a car for 4 days and the enterprise guy also told me not go get certain insurance coverages unless I need it longer than a week ). He told me that so he could have the loaner back quickly, so he reached out to me on a Friday afternoon to let me know my car was ready. In an effort to avoid them charging me for the rental, I had to take off work and drive two hours in rush hour traffic from Tacoma on a Friday afternoon just to get there and have Shane tell me I need to bring my car back for another fuckn code that popped up followed with his catch phrase "part of being a jag owner" I'm so done with this place, but like I said, they know I can't go outside of Jaguar for service, so they're allowed to do and act as they please. What I liked is that I got about a 30 min or so Q&A with the tech about my new car and all the various functions. We were told it would take a few hours even tho our mail stated if would only take 45 mins max with a wash and vacuum. The last time we were in they washed and vacuumed our car. But in the process they scratched the center armrest which is shiny piano black plastic. They said oh sorry and buffed it out. So this time we said be careful not to scratch the center arm rest like last time. Yup yup yup . Well the car was finished and well the center arm rest was scratched again. Oh we can buff it out said the sales manager . NO YOU CAN REPLACE IT NOW ! How many times do you buff scratches out of a car in the same spot before re-painting them ? We then left luckily we didn't go far before discovering the other mistake. They removed the tread plate on the floor and left it on the floor with extra pieces . Nothing like a huge hole in the floor luckily it popped back in but still can you not finish the job that you started ? You think when you spend $85K on a car you would get great customer service. I feel like I purchased a car from Sloppy Joe's car Depot Well after 6+ trips back to this shit hole are car is finally fixed. We went back last Saturday to have the issues finally addressed and God willing no new issues came up . Got a call from the dealer today saying they would no longer service our vehicle ! I couldn't be happier the feeling is mutual . I will shout from the roof tops and spread my experience as far and wide as I can ! Everyone will know how shitty your service is ! One of the worst experiences I have had at a car dealer. Reached a dealership on a Saturday morning and asking for a test drive for 2 cars. Reluctantly they provided a test drive for a Land Rover Evoque but with no inclination to provide cost / lease details at all. When asked for a test drive for a Jaguar F Pace we were made to wait for 30 min after which they handed us the keys without any salesman to help us out. After the test drive we waited again to talk to a sales associate to figure out what cost /lease details but wasn't helped at all. Next day still interested in the Jaguar, called them up to set up an appointment. I was told that they dont make "random" appointments but rather I should call a specific sales associate to make an appointment. All this pushed me to not buy a car from them ever. This is a long overdue review. I moved from Orange County, CA to Seattle, WA back in 2019 for 2 year and during my time there I needed to find a service department for my car. This was the location closest to me as the Lynnwood location as a trek. Alina was my main service person was Alina and she is the reason I'm giving this location a 3 star, otherwise it would be a 1 or 0 (if that was possible). Alina was nice and went above and beyond helping with replacing one of my camshafts and I was very happy with her service. Although it was kind of annoying that I had to leave my car at the dealership for nearly a month while waiting for the parts to come in and was not offered a complimentary rental during that waiting period when I was spending nearly $4K! Also, they removed my original license plate cover from where I bought my car and replaced it with their Bellevue Land Rover cover without even asking me! Move forward to my last visit just before my move back to OC, Shane was the service associate who helped me out and I was not impressed with his service! I only wanted to get an oil change and check my brakes since I was making a long drive and had plans to get a full service back in OC. I asked if I could get a complimentary Uber home and he said no because it would not profit the dealership seeing as I was only getting an oil change. So I said okay that is understandable. As I walk back to the waiting area, the front desk receptionist (who was very nice btw) asked if I would like to get an Uber home and I explained to her what Shane told me. She was confused and told me that he is wrong and that she can get me an Uber. While I was writing down my information for her to get an Uber, Shane walk towards me with an attitude pretty much yelling "What did I tell you??? You cannot get an Uber through us." I was SO shocked to have someone talk to me that way, especially when the miscommunication was between the receptionist and HIM. Shane should've explained to HER what was going on, not yell at me when I'm the customer. I don't work there, I don't know what the process is! Long story short, Shane apparently had no patience for anyone and his customer service was subpar. I would suggest that you stay away from him and go to Alina instead. read more

Bellevue Land Rover was top notch in the sale of my new vehicle. My salesman Sergey Makhanov was honest and straight forward with the sale. Everything they promised on the car was done professionally and to my absolute satifaction. Loyalty and integrity are unfortunately two words not associated with cars sales these days. So, went for a test drive the other day, and didn't even seem to scare the salesman. Or, maybe he just has a great poker face, hmm, (didn't think about that...) I drove the 2020 Range Rover Evoque as fast as possible, uh, mostly legal, and took the corners in a similar fashion to the way I would drive previous sports cars I've owned, just to check the handling of course...in my defense, I did warn him each time I was going to 'hit it hard'...lol...(with a little bit of glee in my heart I must admit)...so, loved the car...now, ugh...the part we allllll loveeeee, go into the 8x8 office...sit down, and...talk....(I am about to throw gender out there)...first, a tiny bit of background...I live in the south end, and had purchased my previous Range Rover at a dealership closer to home, and had such a terrible experience with the man feeling the need to address my husband each time I asked a question...when I asked about the rear differential, he turned to my husband to respond, when I asked about previous issues with different mechanical problems...he again turned to my husband to respond...sooooo, we decided, when I wanted a new car, we were taking a drive...I was quite prepared for whatever was headed our direction...so, back to the 8x8 office....Jeff Boon (Boom?) Boon, I think, was GREAT, he always answered my husband when he had questions, and in turn responded to mine. Worst dealership ever! once you buy they won't provide you with any kind of service. If you need maintenance forget about it takes 1-2 months to set an appointment. I am leasing a brand new I-pace, the heater stopped working and I called for repair. The next appointment was in 1.5 months. Day of my appointment they had canceled it with out notice. Fortunate enough, they took the car after my complain. Now it has been more than 15 days car still in the shop they do not know when will be ready, no loaners, no help for rental. Buying a car could be stressful, at first I didn't know what I wanted and I narrowed it down to 3 brands, Porsche, Range Rover and Jaguar! After visiting all 3 which had good customer service as well, I found my dream SUV by chance at Jaguar and it was the last one, meant to be I guess, my husband wanted to buy me a new car and we ended up buying a Jaguar! I would like to give special mention to Shahine of Jaguar bellevue, he sold us our first Jaguar and my husband and I are loyal BMW users! Shahine was so patient and answered all our questions and he also made us laugh with his jokes and he had lots of stories to tell! Jaguar also has a very nice service and that was after buying the car, someone from Jaguar bellevue paid us a visit and showed us how to use the car and told us about the settings thats we never knew were there too, my husband and I had such a fun time with Michael! If I could rate this dealership a ZERO, I would. They care about selling cars. But they do not treat their consumers with respect in the service department. Cars WE purchased from this dealership: 2019 Jaguar XJ and 2022 Range Rover Sport. Stop reading here if you are thinking of purchasing a Rover and Jag and go somewhere else other than Land Rover/Jaguar Bellevue. The sales team at this establishment is fabulous because they make money. Communication from the sales team is as expected for any car dealership. Their service building is beautiful, however, the service department is lacking competence or a work ethic. HANDS DOWN THE WORSE we have experienced. Any repair you need is 2 months out. Hazardous, maintenance, or a check engine light comes on EVERY 4,000 miles. But they cannot see any car for two months. Before I share my story, I reached out the Attorney General's Office about their lack of competence. The dealership immediately hired a lawyer, Bethany Lee, who wrote a response that was filled with NO LESS than 3 lies. The lies were sent back to Bethany and the dealership in a documented email. Number of people from the dealership trying to resolve this: WAS ONE which was the person that sold us both cars. My story: My 2019 Jag check engine light comes on more than holiday lights. I called again in April to get an appointment. Two months out from April. June 21 is my target date. At the end of May, I notice a bubble in the side wall of my tire. The car is unsafe to drive. I call the service department, and they can replace the tire in two months. I cannot drive the car with a tire that will blow, so the recommendation is I replace, meaning I actually change the tire with donut tire and drive for TWO MONTHS. I drove the car to the dealership and left it. While at the dealership, Chloe, decided to deal with the Engine light that has been on for 2 months (scheduled to be fixed June 21). No major issues with car. Services are so terrible that I will never buy another car from them. Website reminders on service appointments usually have broken links. When the website works, the functionality doesn't. For example, I could not book a date. When calling the phone, you get put in a hold for a very long time. The last rime that I did reach services, they were covering the receptionist, had no access to their computer and said they would call me back. No one called me back. Also, give yourself over 3 months lead time for when you want your car serviced. They are booking appointments no less than 3 months out. I honestly would not even give any star if I can. Our vehicle was towed to Land Rover Bellevue dealership on 1/14 due to a vehicle theft and with no spare key. We ordered 2 replacement new keys on that same date. As of today, 2+ months later, we are still waiting for the keys making our car not drivable in their lot. We had to keep asking them for updates no one contacted us at all. The same ridiculous reason they have been giving us is keys are coming from UK, no tracking, no update and no ETA. For 2 months???? Seriously? If UK already sent it out there's no reason why there's no tracking! What else can we expect from owning Range Rover vehicle when just keys take this long. read more
