Food is very good. Got the thali so it was a good same of different items on the menu. All the items on the thali were very tasty, spiced just right to me. The nan was warm, soft and a bit chewy; great for dipping in the sauces. The lamb and chicken were both delicious and tender. I like that it was served with rice and Nan.

4/5 Finally had this sandwich after eyeballing this place for weeks lol. Stopped in during my walk and decided to try the smoked Gouda chicken sandwich. The flavors went together soooooo well, I absolutely loved it. Now there was a little too much cheese for my liking and this is coming from a cheese lover. I'd order again for sure but just ask for light cheese. The guava juice is also very tasty, but you don't get much for $4 so sip sparingly lol.

I ordered some food here with a friend while in Krog Street Market. I ordered the Butter chicken burger, Smoked gouda naanwich, and fries. The food came in a decent amount of time. They forgot to put my friends order in so we did have to wait awhile for her order though. There isn't really too much of an ambiance since it's in krog street market besides the energy the staff gives off which was nice and friendly. I really liked the fries they were nice and thick. I didn't really like the butter chicken burger that much the flavors were not what I was expecting it to be and in my opinion didn't mix too well together. I did really like the smoked Gouda naanwich and I would order that again. The prices are fair for the food proportions being its krog street market where everything is expensive. From what I tasted it's not like something to write home about but I would eat there again.

I had stopped in at Krog Street Market to grab a quick bite after walking along the beltline for quite some time. I am sucker for Indian food, so I immediately gravitated towards Jai Ho. I didn't want so many things to eat, more so just of a snack to share with the other people in my group. I saw the loaded chicken 65 fries on the menu, and immediately knew I HAD to get them. I ordered and waited about 10 minutes for them, but it was WORTH IT. They were so flavorful and hot! The chicken pieces were pretty decently sized, and there was a good bit of chicken as well. It had a little bit of a kick to it, but nothing too bad. The price for the fries were $14, so a little steep, but that's pretty common for a food market type of appetizer. It was worth the cost though. I'll definitely be back in the future and plan on getting these fries again plus a few other items.

Decided to try Jai Ho for our first time at Krog St Market. My partner and I ordered a mango lassi, pani poori, vegan channa masala, and smoked gouda chicken naanwich - TASTE: 4/5 - the mango lassi was sweet and refreshingly cold, and the pani poori was nice w the green chutneys on the side. My vegan channa masala was satisfyingly rich, and the gouda cheese was so tasty in the naanwich TEXTURE: 4/5 - the pani poori's fried wontons were ultra thin and crispy, and the vegetable samosa that came w my channa masala was fried well too. Loved the chicken and gooey gouda cheese pressed together in the naan, plus the perfect crisp of the accompanying chips PRICE: 4/5 - standard prices, and my vegan channa masala combo platter is a steal (includes channa masala, vegetable samosa, rice, and roti) SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - solid portions for lunch, though I thought that the pani poori could've been filled up more SERVICE: 4/5 - we ordered at the counter and waited ~10-15min for our food ATMOSPHERE: 3/5 - it's a small countertop space compared to the other vendor stalls at Krog St Market TAKEOUT: 4/5 - appreciate the ventilation holes in the takeout box for my channa masala! PARKING: 4/5 - we parked a short walk away on the first floor of the Ayla apartment complex's garage, and paid $4.75/hr via the ParkMobile app

Fried grouper sandwich, the best in the market

One of the best fried fish sandwiches. The crisp is insane and the size of this sandwich can easily feed two people. The top the sandwich with an Indian stlyle pico and french fries. I also love the vegetable samosas. If your Krog Street Market definitely check them out.

Since moving to Atlanta I have fallen in love with Indian food. After a pass through all of the vendors at Krog Street Market, I decided to give Jai Ho a try. I ordered the smoked gouda chicken naanwich. Sounded so good on the menu I couldn't resist. The flavor was really great. What I did not enjoy was the naanwich was very very wet from the sauce which made it hard to eat and enjoy. You are given a nice sized portion so it will fill you up.

Our entire group of 8 all ordered dinner at Jai Ho inside of Krog Market because of how delicious the meals looked and smelled. Many of us ordered the Chicken Tikki Masala and loved the flavors. The garlic naan was massive (I wish I took a picture before I ate it all). Another popular dish was the chicken curry and butter naan. It's a little pricey but worth every penny for the quality and quantity. Highly recommend if you enjoy eating Indian food!

Jai ho has an amazing set of dishes. I had the vegetable samosas and the chicken pot pie. The food was filling and full of incredible flavor. I can't wait to go back in the future.

    Saag paneer
    Christina P.

Gentleman serving me was really kind! He informed me the differences of having iced versus hot chai (I got the hot one) and had a really nice conversation. He also gave me another cup of chai! The food, though, was on the pricier side in comparison to other Indian restaurants as well as less flavorful. the saag felt off, too milky with only 5 chunks of paneer; the chai tasted as if the tea was burnt and as a result lacking the decadent smoothness of the cardamom and other spices. It seemed like the audience for the food is a bit more American and more non traditional, whihc may allow others to ease their way into Indian cuisine. The venue was very nice, it's Krog market where there is plenty of seating in a lively environment.

But this past time I got takeout, the chicken tikka masala really blew me away. The flavor was very rich and well developed, without just a surface level flavor of tomato. Each bite of chicken was also very tender. To be fair I haven't had Indian food in a while and was really craving it but I was pleasantly surprised. Garlic naan could've been a bit more garlicky but was very good texturally, nice and chewy. The parking garage entrance is right next door (to the right of the restaurant) and you can get validated inside. If you're getting takeout, they text you a link you have to prepay through before they start preparing the food which is a bit annoying, but I get it.

This is the summary of my experience there: 1) Ambiance 3/5: The place from outside looks contemporary and chic. The bar looks inviting but as you enter the dining area, the place is dated. The decor looks shabby and I feel they should renovate for they have a reputation to maintain 2) Service 3/5: This was a hit and a miss for me. Though they are gracious enough to validate your parking, the service was at times good but at times slow and bad. One person was good at suggestions but the other person was really lazy. I went their for my birthday but they took about 10 minutes to get me a candle which was disappointing to say the least. 3) Food 4/5: This is where they excel. Although everything was pricey. The taste made up for it. We had: a) kaala khatta : This is basically shikanji but was refreshing b) mango chili mojito: My wife loved it. It tasted like you were eating raw mango with salt and chili powder. c) palak patta chaat - it was crispy and flavorful d) Chicken curry: Loved the taste. The accompanying rice was so less that it looked like a joke e) Chur chur naan and garlic naan: Pricey and ok f) Carrot halwa with ice cream: The combination was good but carrot halwa in general was ok. Tasted like the heated store bought frozen halwa 4) Value for money 3/5: Really pricey. The taste was look but for the amount, everything was pricey I would only return if I a really craving for Indian food with nothing in the vicinity and someone else is paying. The good: 1) Food and flavor Not so Good: 1) Decor 2) Prices 3) Service

Hooray! A genuinely refreshing addition to our West Midtown rotation is here - and it's de-licious!…read more We planned our visit to give time for any opening friction points to smooth out, because we wanted to love this place right from the start. An Indian fusion tasting menu? Yes please! I'm glad we did, because our overall experience was really good. Firstly, in addition to the tasting menu, they have a great range of dishes and some happy hour specials too. The only less-than-awesome moment was our arrival. We were first in line at the host stand, at the very beginning of dinner service, with a reservation. However, we had to wait as a group behind us was welcomed and seated. The host was the only person all evening who wasn't warm or welcoming - it was a chilly arrival experience, with parking validation friction and would have put me off from the start if the servers hadn't saved it from there on out. We were seated close to the pass, which was a fun spot to watch both the kitchen and front of house teams at work, as well as a comfy booth from which to observe the rest of the space (including snooping at other diners' plates - for inspiration, of course). The server seemed surprised that we (as first-timers) went straight to the tasting menu, but quickly got organized and the drinks were with us within a few minutes. She was very present, explained everything really well, and handled my weird ingredient questions and preferences super well. The food was ahmahzing. 13 dishes in just over an hour - phew. Favorites and standouts included: - Green Papaya Salad: fresh, tangy and crunchy - Crispy Broccoli: vegetables never tasted this good. - Potato Dosa: too filling for a tasting menu, but the second-best bite on the menu - Dal Makhni: black lentils, creamy-dreamy and the best dish of the night. - Turmeric Fish: no idea what fish it was, but it was shockingly good. - Sticky Date Cake: yes, this is the British-originated sticky toffee pudding of my dreams, and beats anything I've had in the UK. Huge compliments to our server (Brett - she was amazing), the kitchen and to the management, who were very present all evening, checking in with subtlety and never overdoing it. I'm going to have to wait a few weeks to stop feeling so full, then I'll be back for a tour of the rest of the menu. I can't wait to bring out of town visitors; Ghee has brought West Midtown the type of southern-hospitality-meets-global-cuisine moments I have been hoping for. Welcome to Atlanta, team Ghee!

We ordered the 13-course $65 per person tasting menu, plus one additional dish. This is what we sampled: 5 Stars (Excellent): Crispy Broccoli 4 Stars (Very Good): Yellowfin Tuna Bhel, Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer, Dal Makhni, Tumeric Marinated Fish 3.5 Stars (Good): Green Papaya Salad, Samosa Chaat, Potato Dosa 3 Stars (Average): Kerala Lamb, Garlic Naan, Sticky Date Cake, Chai Ice Cream Sandwiches, Potato Samosas We paid $400 for a 4-person meal (20% tip, 13-course $65 tasting menu for 4, one additional entrée, one mocktail, water, no alcohol). If they had charged us 20% less, I'd give them four stars instead of three. We won't be returning to this good yet overpriced restaurant.

It lacked the rich texture and flavor you would normally expect. The garlic naan, which cost $7.99, arrived cold, had very little garlic on it, and had an unpleasant smell.
