Great concept of a bar. Also really clean. The inside and mostly the kitchen are amazingly clean. You can see the kitchen and staff working from the bar. Very clean and great food to boot!!! Try the Texas Ranger burger. Cooked ton perfection with amazing cooperation of flavors. The beer is fresh and cold, perfect place to stop during or after a day of riding. Pool tables and live music as well. I would recommend this place!!! read more

Very good location to stop and get a beverage and tasty treats. The shrimp have an excellent batter as well as flavor. The cocktail sauce is an excellent same to dunk your shrimp. The Parmesan basil Pablo crusts cod fingers were a delight and unexpected treat. The tarter sauce with them as a perfect to compliment the fish. The Alcatraz pizza was tasty as well and a good choice with a BBQ sauce sauce based. read more

Stopped in for dinner, only a few people at the bar. Was not greeted or acknowledged when we got in until someone walked past delivering food to a table and we asked them if we could sit outside. After we went in and ordered at the bar because we were unsure if they had anyone coming g to the tables- food arrived, we ordered burgers and a pizza.. burgers were overcooked, we asked for more ketchup which was never brought out so we again had to go up to the bar. No one came to check on us or ask how it was. We paid our bill at the bar, the bartender didn't ask how it was or even say thanks, ha e a good day. ... have been out here a few times and have not had a friendly experience yet. Yelp had me 6 miles away but I was here. It's a great place to stop for pizza and a beer if you are driving the great river highway!! It's a dive, but very clean. I'll bet it's super busy with bikers on bike night. The pizza wasn't to my liking but my companions for the day loved it. I really like a thinner crust. I did eat my share tho. It tasted great just filled you up to quick. The toppings especially the cheese was very fresh and tasty. You could tell they sell some pizza here. A steady stream of take out while we were there. The burgers looked really good and I kind of wished I ordered one of those. Next time Jail House. Stopped for lunch with the crew while working in the area. Place was clean and has a good selection of burgers. While it was order at the bar and bring your drinks back to the table - the staff were friendly and the food was prepared quickly. We all received a well sized portion. Fries were crisp and hot. The pickle slice was garlic-icious! Loved the state trooper car doors and license plate collection. I'll stop again when I need a meal in that neck of the woods. read more

Came in on a bus, and they were very accommodating, but ordered a red bull and vodka and unfortunately got almost straight red bull. I applaud them for how they deal with large groups, but the drinks are less than desirable. read more

Jailhouse is clean and has a really great theme! The decorations of all the license plates and police gear were fun! However, the meal was less than great. You have to order everything at the bar, including food. I stuck with beer but my husband ordered a brandy old fashioned which was way too strong. He ended up ordering beer after that. We decided to try the build your own pizza. It was okay, nothing fantastic. The sign says homemade pizza, but tasted more like frozen pizza to us. If you're looking for great pizza it would be worth the drive into Trempealeau for Pizza Corral. Next time, I think we'll go with burgers and see if that's any better. read more

What a pleasant surprise this place was. From the outside it looks bad but the inside is clean. The pizza was really good! You know it must be good if they have a steady flow of takeout for pizza. Their drink selection is a bit limited. My husband asked for Dewars on ice and was brought an O'Doul's with a glass of ice.
