I took some time and interviewed and spoke with 3 different roofing companies, and then attended the Wilmington Home show where I spoke with 2 more. In the end, I felt I did more than adequate research and review in selecting a contractor for this hopefully, one and single time that I have to replace a roof in a beachside home. John and his team were professional, timely, honest and frankly friendly, like working with a brother or something on a family matter. Roofing is not inexpensive, but we obtained a fair and reasonable quote. The work done was detail oriented, well discussed and again honest! [Lets be frank, how many times has any homeowner walked up on top of a 30 foot roof?] I am providing a 5 star review only because I've not heard of 6 star reviews on various platforms. Worst service ever! Find someone else! We paid for a fortified roof installation 2024-they were…read moresuppose to submit the paperwork to our insurance company & provide us with the paperwork as well. Neither was done & no one will call me/email me back to rectify this. Ive messaged over 40 times & keep getting told someone will respond-no one ever has. We're now in 2026! Now going to court over this, absolutely ridiculous. We've never had any issues like this with another company-extremely disappointing! Also side note: they wrecked our brand new deck. They didnt cover it and now there are stains all over it after the roof was replaced. Weve had the deck refinished and stains are still there, we cant get them out. We originally had the roof replaced after we were told from them it would fix two window area leaks. The roof had NOTHING to do with the windows. The leak was still there after the roof was replaced, it was just a simple seal around the windows themselves.

The installation team was always here first thing in the morning and did an exceptional job on the siding , the new door install and the ceiling! Words that come to mind to describe Derek and his team are meticulous, professional, knowledgeable and honest !
