This is my favorite neighborhood dive bar. If you are someone who finds the phrase "dive bar" to be…read morea bit insulting, I invite you to broaden your horizons, and embrace the unpretentious nature of such an establishment. The beer is usually cold and affordable. Yes, there might not be more than one or maybe two IPAs to choose from. But, if you're looking for a good old American lager, there are several standbys available. And, top shelf liquors might be of a limited nature, but if you're looking for a decent booze at a reasonable price there are plenty of options. To me the Squeeze is a magical unicorn. It is a neighborhood bar. It is a frequent stop on the motorcycle aficionado circuit, albeit I find these people to be some of the nicest people you ever care to have a drink with. There's also a goodly amount of people who have been coming to this place for decades, people who remember when this was more the northside and less what it currently is. Popcorn is free. Sometimes other snacks are available. They like to offer free hotdogs and brats on Wednesday evenings, when the weather is cooperating. The bar staff and owners are uniformly friendly. And yep, you may have guessed it from the name, it's a small place, and it is a bit of a squeeze to get from the front to the back or even to get a normal sized man's shoulders through the door to the men's room. And the patio is more functional than fancy. However, they are also very dog friendly (which is always a plus for me). And I'm very glad that they are here.

The vibe is laid-back but electric at the same time--great music, solid crowd, and drinks that hit exactly how they should. What really made the day stand out though was Sydney behind the bar. She was awesome--super attentive, quick with the drinks, and just had that natural ability to read the room and keep the energy up. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and it makes a huge difference in the experience. Whether you're there to unwind, catch up with friends, or just have a no-BS night out, 12 Volt is the kind of spot you keep coming back to.

Also they have a jukebox but it's one of the old ones, looks really aesthetic but nobody's gonna play songs on that, if they got one of those digital ones that can play basically any song I think everyone would really like it! I'd definitely come back and recommend anyone in the area giving it a shot, when I got my bill it was cheap enough I had to start a new tab, so if that isn't a commendation idk what is

It breaks down like this: Are you looking for a relaxing day with some locals and regulars who love this place (maybe a little too much) and have built a legitimate community around it? I suggest weekend afternoons for some tunes on the jukebox and sports on the TVs, Tuesday nights for open mic and Wednesday nights for Poker. Looking to find the broad of your dreams with those child bearing hips and a vague interest in the trad wife movement? Try Thursday and Saturday nights for Karaoke (and wear your square-toed cowboy boots and trucker hat, the ladies love that shit here). One thing is always true though, the management and bartenders are friendly, warm and great at their jobs. Regardless of the day or time, you'll find a professional behind the bar ready to make you feel welcome- but don't be a douche, even pros have their limits. So, pick your time wisely but whenever you go, you'll likely leave feeling a little better than when you arrived.

After we ate (and I managed to win at pool three times!), my date decided to show off his singing and performance on karaoke night, even getting a few fans afterward. Honestly, it was a blast, and I'm definitely planning to come back to this little dive bar--though, let's just say I'll be doing it solo next time!

I walked in the door all had to turn to look at me I said hello nobody said hello back I made my way to a booth as I was meeting other people so we wanted to booth found a booth, good spot for a pool table and to watch the game. I seated myself got comfortable. Waited for somebody to come over to my table to take my order. Had two bartenders walk past me didn't make iContact didn't ask me if I wanted anything I walked up to the bar, ordered my cocktail bartender made it down at the other end of the bar and had it sitting there while she was doing football pools I walked over to where she was at asked for my drink. She slid it over to me without even looking at me. I asked her how much she told me I gave her the correct amount plus a little extra, and she proceeded to ask me if I want to change back, I said no and walked away. My friends finally showed up they were greeted immediately bartender came over to the table and asked them what they wanted to drink. She still refused to look at me, now mind you I don't know this person and as of now, I don't care to know this person, at one point one of my friends asked her why she wasn't being nice and she said she was too busy to be nice. I totally did not understand that comment to all .... We had a group picture that was taken. I guess it was for all the regulars there because me and my girlfriend did not get invited to take the picture and once again, my friend asked about it and they said that we were not normal, ?!! I will say one thing being treated badly because I'm Mexican or because I was dressed differently. Does not give you the right to treat me badly. Being in the service industry myself, I know how important it is to treat people kindly! We ordered some food that they were serving Philly cheesesteak sandwiches and nachos. Great idea we enjoyed eating. I will go there to see my friends that work behind the bar but I will make sure that I don't go in when that bartender is working that treated me rudely. I was once told when entertaining people whether it's a conversation or a hello to be kind because you may be entertaining an Angel. Thanks For The Read Until Next Time .....

Like a dive bar. A greasy spoon. No frills and simple. There is a certain comfort in that. Blue Moon, Budweiser, Bud Light, and Coors Light on draft. People smoking marijuana directly out front? Niiiiiiiccceeee. Numerous high four top tables along with some five tops that would be choice for playing cards. Long around J bar. ATM. Pool table. A nice quiet spot to watch the Broncos or regular NASCAR games. Come and be nobody or stop by with your friends. No complaints. This bar is a bit more lively than most dive bars but that's not a bad thing. Twins Inn isn't too far off Sheridan if you want cheaper banquet or even less "frills." Certainly a younger crowd but still very mixed 23-60 I'd say. The decor here is nice. Usual Budweiser signs but also a good amount of Firefighter memorabilia. Not too far from a station and training building so I'm sure that's the connection. Ambiance? Check. Service? Good enough. Food? They have jerky, popcorn, and various lays chips available. I see signs for a microwave Philly cheesesteak too but who knows what's up with that. Still, call Gordon Ramsay. Spicy pickle shots are on me!
