Ever since they came into town I don't even go to the other Mexican fast food/restaurant anymore. I get way faster service and my food is always delicious! The servers are nice and so are the people in the drive thru. I love that I can call and order and drive thru to pick it up. I don't know why this place doesn't have more stars than it does! I love you guys and pleeeeease stay in Coolidge! If you're looking for a good Mexican restaurant that has authentic flavors come here! I read some of the reviews on this restaurant and decided to try it. Wow, what a great surprise. Firstly, the place is spotlessly clean! And, as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by not one, but two friendly folks! I ordered the taco and relleno lunch special, which includes chips and salsa and a huge glass of iced tea (and also rice and beans) - an unbelievable deal. I arrived about 11:30 on a Tuesday and it wasn't too crowded. By the time I left at 12:15, the place was nearly full! I guess everyone has found out about this hidden treasure. Oh, if you ask, they might bring you some "hotter" salsa from the back. The staff are professional and polite and the restaurant is very clean and appealing, which is why I have this a 2 rating. Ordered the Carne Asada with fries. It was small, Very few fries, could not find the extra sour cream i asked for and it was 1000% cold -- Only 4 minutes later I opened it to eat it so no way could it get That cold in 4 minutes time --- so in no way do I believe it was ever warm or even close to hot.). My mother was craving some Mexican tacos. She called in, and placed an order for several tacos. She asked for a side of rice and beans. They told her she had to purchase that separately in its own containers. No problem, she did so. She also (((SPECIFICALLY))) asked the lady on the phone for PLENTY OF LIMES TO GO WITH ALL THE TACOS. The lady on the phone told her "ok". My mother arrived back home after picking up her order. They gave her no limes AT ALL. Nor did they give her the rice and beans. She called the restaurant, to tell them they hadn't given her any limes at all, and they didn't give her the rice & beans. She said the lady on the phone simply replied with an "ohh. I have never spoken out against a business in Pinal County, but today due to lack of accountability on the business part I must. Jalapeño #2 in Coolidge has some major issues with customer service. 1. They're over priced! 2. The menu is false advertisement. 3. The manager needs serious training or better yet fired! 4. The manager provided me information that if I wasn't an upstanding citizen would find her place of employment robbed! I've been told the owner's name is Oscar. Love Jalapeños! Staff is always friendly and they are always helpful in picking new things to eat. I ate a breakfast burrito with bacon. It was cooked to perfection and the green salsa was a little spicy but just right for my taste. My grandson always orders beans and cheese burritos and it was really good also. I ordered a combo (with rice and beans), husband got a Chimi and our daughter, the California burrito. While waiting, I noticed the receipt did not reflect the combo I ordered. More waiting, forever waiting, and a girl finally comes to the window with the wrong order. Ok, I take the chance to ask about the combo not being entered in the register correctly. Deer in the headlights. She says will you pay the difference, I say of course, then disappears and never returns. More waiting and a different girl brings our food. We leave and then realize they have not given us my husband's drink. I had to park on the street and knock on the back door. I again ask about the combo I ordered being entered wrong and again, get the deer in the headlights with another girl. She says do you want to order rice and beans? No, I want the combo I ordered in the first place! But at this point, it's becoming clear that it is too complicated and I drop it. My rolled tacos had barely any cheese on them for $7. My husband's Chimi was soggy and looked like it had been microwaved. My daughter's California burrito had barely any filling at all in it. Definitely not a meal worth nearly $40 for 3 people. Ordered Fajitas. Terrible meat. Lime juice added after it was cooked. I did not eat after the first bite, but had to pay anyway. When I attempted to contact the owner. I was ignored. When I finally got on the phone with a person who was identified as the owner, they spoke in Spanish. I said they should speak English in the United States. They hung up on me. Summary...I was served the worst fajitas ever, I paid for a product I didn't receive. I was insulted in my country. I think anyone deserves better treatment. read more

The service here is excellent! Nathaniel suggested #56 the cubed chicken (see picture). The portions of the meal is excellent just like the quality. I wasn't able to finish my meal. The horchata is also delicious, not watery. As we packed up our left overs they gave us a container for our remaining salsa and they even offered to top off the container with more salsa! :) we will definitely be coming here more. read more

I don't eat here often and today shows exactly why. I ordered and ended up waiting in the drive thru for 20 minutes. The people behind me got their order, which was much larger than mine. I ordered two mini tacos with a side of rice. I was waiting for her to come back to the window to explain why my order was taking so long but she didn't. I had to continue to knock, honk, try and call for her since I couldn't get out my car. She finally came back and said my order wasn't put in. I ended up asking for a refund. This place will rip you off. They try not to give you an itemized receipt and charge you twice as much. When I questioned it they disappeared into the back and came back out with another not itemized receipt with probably the right amount. It was very clear that it was a shakedown and they thought they were going to get away with it. This was my first time eating there. When I pulled up to order I was immediately put off by the huge hickey on the girl's neck that was taking my order. I was young once too and have gotten hickeys. However, I realize why there was always a policy at any establishment that I worked at regarding having no hickeys when serving the public. It is very off putting and doesn't look professional at all. Not a good look. After I got past that I ordered super fries and was severely disappointed. I haven't ever had super fries with beans in them. Nor have I ever had them with shoestring french fries and jalapeños all over them. They are fries not nachos. Also, the carne asada they put on them wasn't very tasty and they didn't put nearly enough sour cream or guacamole on them. The pico de gallo that was put on the super fries was actually good though. I did not know it was possible to screw up simple bean and cheese breakfast tacos, but unfortunately this place did just that. Both tacos fell apart before I could take a second bite which is rather frustrating as I essentially spent money to remain hungry. The flavor on its own was good, the problem was an utter failing in the way it was assembled. It is such a simple fix, reduce the portion sizes by at least half and use two tortillas for each taco so that they can't fall apart. The other reviews here are rather positive so perhaps my experience was a fluke, but I can't pretend to be happy about being left with a pile of slop due to poorly executed food assembly. read more

I like this place. I come in from time to time - sit down, immediately get welcomed and attended to. I am able to sit down, get a drink order, receive chips & dip , put my order in - in about 4-5 minutes. The female servers here are always super friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and after the order goes in - it comes out pretty damn quick. There aren't many places to eat in this town, however, this is my go to place for authentic Mexican food! The service with the waitresses could be a bit better. But other than that i love this place. Went this morning to eat with my family and parents! This is our second time eating here, the first time was awesome but TODAY my husbands burrito was awful to the point the girl which she's the only waitress there got bothered to the point that she claimed my husband that she didn't appreciate his review after a bad experience with his burrito! Yes he did put a bad review while my family and I were eating so that means the waitress had the time to read the review instead of taking care of her customers but now I understand why my son's bean and rice was TAKING SO LONG to arrive and our drinks too "WHY" because she was reading the review while on her job to serve her customers So when my husband got up to pay she confronted him aggressively claiming him she don't appreciate his review!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! Is this how you treat your customers, instead of apologizing about your stupid mistakes for not writing down the orders you want to blame your customers for your stupidity this is so unprofessional is this how you do your services......so imagine how many more mistakes she has made just to be on her phone checking reviews! The worst food I have had in Coolidge ! Taco Bell has better food . Ordered the chimichanga and it was not even deep fried . The put it in the oil and then the to go container ! The meat tastes like metal as if it was stewed too long . So discouraged and sad I called to complain because I spent 9 bucks for this, oh I'm sorry sir then the lady hangs up on me !!!
