She was so friendly and helpful. They had a March special on drinks and I decided to have The Pot of Gold which was 1800 coconut tequila, grand marnier, and pineapple juice.. it wasn't too sweet.. it was so good! I really think they should add it to their drink list The Swiss cheeseburger, seasoned veggies, hamburger steak were all so very very good! Atmosphere was relaxing and fun. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I had a 4oz filet. I asked for rare. Was cooked more blue, but I was happy with that. No offer of steak sauce. Fine with me because I prefer salt and butter. Baked potato was actually great! Mac and cheese was not anything to write home about. Salad was huge - took it back to my hotel. Haggerty's was busy in a small-ish town for a Thursday night. I don't drink, so no comment on any alcohol except to say the Cosmo looking drinks at a table nearby looked great in frosty glasses. There were a few large groups lingering and chatting. Several other single eaters at the bar who seemed happy. Some family style meals going on - groups of 4 or 5. Overall, I'd say this is good spot to go for a steak if you're craving one. I'd return.

I saw a teacher at my job enjoying a hot bowl of soup and a huge grilled cheese sandwich and I had to have one. I left during my lunch break to find the best hole in the wall ever. My first trip I had the soup and sandwich. The soups was full of chicken and piping hot, just the right seasoning and a perfect consistency. The grilled cheese was nice and thick and perfectly grilled. My next visit I had the baked spaghetti. Oh my I wanted more! It was cheesy, not too sugary and mouth watering. I then had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes and cabbage. The meatloaf was perfectly seasoned, I opted for the gravy on the side. Next, I tried the smothered pork chop. The chops were juicy and well cooked. The gravy was awesome. I also had the grilled chicken sandwich, which was juicy and flavorful. I also tried their chicken n dumplin! Pretty good. Lastly, the sweet tea was sweet and refreshing! Please support the small family run business!!!!

I was immediately greeted and seated. I noticed it wasn't busy at all, and that could be due to the time (3 pm). My server, Karl, came to the table and greeted me. He was very polite and professional. I'm not used to being called "Sir" at these types of restaurants unless it's an upscale one, so that was different. He took my drink and food order after giving me time to lookover the menu. I ordered the Arroz Tejano, which consisted of chicken, shrimp, steak, grilled onions, and bell peppers on a bed of rice and cheese sauce. I substituted the steak with extra chicken. Meanwhile, he brought chips, salsa, and some other type of white sauce for them. The salsa, though good, was too spicy for my taste. Whatever the other sauce was, I did like it, though it had a bit of sweetness. Ultimately, I requested the cheese sauce, which came out a little runny and did not cling well to the chips, but it still tasted good. My food came out at a decent time, and not only did it smell good, but it also tasted better than I expected. The food was seasoned to perfection in my opinion and was reasonably priced. I recommend you give it a try, and I definitely will be back next time I'm in the area.
