I really enjoyed this authentic Mexican restaurant. When you walk in, it looks more like a dance hall, so the vibe is definitely a little unusual, but don't let that fool you. The food is fantastic. I tried every taco and the chile relleno, and everything was absolutely delicious. The biggest surprise was the octopus taco. It was cooked perfectly, packed with meat, and easily better than the ones I've had at high-end Mexican spots that charge twice the price.

Tacos of: cabeza, lengua, cactus, tripe, octopus, grouper

Being born and raised in Miami, I came into town with my little family to see the rest of the family for Easter. My girlfriend was looking for some cabeza tacos... and after searching on Yelp I found this restaurant. We got here, and immediately the service was AMAZING. We got greeted almost immediately after being seated and drinks were brought out shortly after. We just looked at the menu and were going to try an assortment of tacos just to try. The server, Bianca, recommended their grouper taco, and honestly at first we weren't sure how it was going to be. But... it ended up being our favorite out of all of them. The whole experience was great and I would recommend this place to anyone. The whole environment of the restaurant was amazing as well.

    Bistec & barbacoa tacos

Grabbed tacos here after a day at Biscayne National Park and they hit the spot. We ordered the pollo, bistec, barbacoa, and fish tacos and each one was delicious. Honorable mention for the agua fresca which was the perfect refreshment for a sunny day!

Delicious, Authentic, and Friendly Vibes!!! Do not be fooled by the area of the shopping center may look a bit sketchy at first but the staff are super welcoming and friendly. The food is was very fresh and tastes like real Mexican food no bs. I just love the freshness of the food and quality seems like it does not compare to other places I been too. Loved the music and they have a bar you can just go up (: Highly recommend!

Found this online with good yelp reviews. The outside looks a bit sketchy looks run down, but you will forget that once you are inside. The staff greeted me and said I can take any seat I wish. Food was delicious and inexpensive. The horchata drink was heavenly tasty. If you are in the mood for authentic Mexican food, this place is the spot to go. Been here twice already.

Just finished dinner and I was delighted with the service and food. This is not a fancy place but the great food is the selling point. The tacos were authentic and delicious. The barbacado were my favorite. The tortilla soup was plentiful and tasty. The dark Modelo came to the table ice cold. Our server gave us great service and menu recommendations. We will be back.

The place was busy, with a steady flow of people coming and going, which is usually a good sign. Once inside, we were greeted right away and the service was incredibly friendly and fast throughout our visit. The atmosphere had the familiar feel of a traditional Mexican restaurant, but with a genuine family owned, mom & pop charm that made it feel welcoming and authentic. I ordered the Mexican steak with jalapeños, while my fiancée went with the flautas. Both dishes were excellent and fresh, flavorful, and well seasoned without being overdone. The steak was cooked just right and had plenty of flavor. My fiancée especially loved the yellow rice and kept talking about it long after we left. Overall, this was one of those unexpected finds that turns into a place you'll want to come back to. Great food, friendly people, and a welcoming atmosphere. It would be worth the hour drive back here from fort lauderdale. We'll definitely be returning.

I would describe the restaurant as 'casual mexican'. Ample seating inside, clean and with festive decor. The food was good. We started with a 'Queso Fundido' appetizer which we added Mexican Chorizo to. The family gobbled it up before I could take pics! Chips and Salsa kept coming out as needed at no charge. They had a pretty good selection of popular Mexican beers: Modelo on tap, Corona & Dos Equis in bottles. They serve Margaritas (maybe wine-based liquor) but my wife said it was good. The food selection is very good and everyone liked what they ordered. Lots of Enchiladas, Taquitos, Salad options as well as Tacos, Burritos, Chimichangas, etc... I had the Chile Relleno (which they offer stuffed with cheese, chicken or beef. It was good. We discussed not orser dessert. Food was good. The waitress told us to sit wherever we wanted to. She brought us a basket of chips and salsa. I ordered the Trio Trepa. I wanted it with shrimp, but the waitress said they can't do shrimp for it. So I did it with chicken instead. My daughter ordered the chicken tenders and French fries. My plate was huge! It turned into three or four meals! My daughter ate all of her chicken tenders except some of the breading. They were a little overly breaded. I like the condiment bar. But only one person can serve themselves at a time there and there was a guy up there when I got my food and I wanted to go up and add some toppings to my plate.
